Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.
Now that father was leader, that made her a princess, right? Sonata couldnt care less about any of that crap, though she did consider Cadence to be a princess and she guess Barry could be a prince, though like herself, didnt seem to fit the role quite right. Neither did Cadence really, but she held her sister above herself and even Baroque so in her fiery orange eyes, Cadence was a princess. Sonata? Well, she was no more than a commoner in her eyes.. Well, maybe a knight.
Sonata stuck around home today, although she longed to explore. She hadnt done much of it lately, but she hardly had the time, and when she did it was nap time. It wasnt time for a nap now though, but instead, she sought out either her mother or sister, whichever she found first. Today was one of the days she allotted for her family, mostly her mother and sister. She gave the family members little warning and tended to just show up during whatever they were doing because she didnt even know what days she would allow herself to take a break on. It depended on how she woke up that day, and on this particular day she was tired. Very tired, but she couldnt sleep hence the no nap.
So Sonata wandered around Pisces, hoping that either her mother or sister would still be around so she could have a lazy day instead of feeling like she wasted a perfectly good day loafing around.

"And that... just about does it." The golden lioness finished placing a blue flower on Cadence's head after she'd smoothed down the fluff. Cadence thought her mom would take away her bandanna but that was not the case. The lioness actually thought it was cute and promptly tried to dress Cadence in flowers as soon as she saw it. Maybe one day the flowers would just click with the cub...
That day had yet to come.
As soon as Makyna said she was done Cadence was off in a flash. "Tell your sister to come up here, would you? She could do with a grooming too." Cadence pretended not to here as she zoomed as fast as she could down the ledges and ran full tilt across Pisces, trying to get away from her mom lest she get grabbed again for another makeover. The grizzly lion almost didn't look like herself with her fur not hanging in her eyes and the blue flower in her ear.
She would need to find a spot to fix herself back up before. Uh oh-- The cub could a white shape coming up fast and she tried to get out of the way before she hit. Just barely she managed to cut to the side and avoid running smack dab into her sister but the effort made her trip over her still-large paws and land on her back with an "oof". The cat lay there for a moment, room spinning above her.

She was just walking calmly, assuming Cadence to be with her mother or playing around some where. She wasnt exactly wrong when she saw the large bear lion cub bounding towards her as if she was running away from something.
"HEY!" She called out, attempting to stand her ground in case Cadence ran straight in to her. The collision never came though, and Sonny sighed a heavy sigh of relief as she dropped her guard.
"What the Hell, Cadence?!" She glared hard at her sister, fury building in her ember eyes. After a miute though, her glare stopped and she sighed again. It was hard to stay mad at her siblings, especially Cadence. She didnt know why, but regardless, she plopped her rump on the ground and furrowed her brows, convinced nothing was after her sibling.
"And what were you running from, exactly?" She sounded more like their mother then, more exhasperated rather than surprised. In fact, nothing from her sister really surprised her. If anything, it made her tired.
Sonata's incredulous remark rang in her ears for a moment after she fell until she gave her head a quick shake to clear it. Cadence's sapphire blue gaze met Sonata's amber for a moment while she gave a sheepish grin. "Hehe, sorry." The grizzly lion rose to her paws as quickly as she dared after falling to the ground only to sit down right in front of her sibling. Honestly, she was rather surprised that her sister wasn't in the water looking at herself but she shook it off. Perhaps she finally realized she was the prettiest one out of all three of them. Not that Cadence cared... "pretty" was something she never worried about not that any outsider would be able to tell with her neatly groomed fur and newly added flower in her head hair.
The young cub shuddered at her sister's tone. She could almost swear that the cat she was running from was reincarnated in the form of her sister. Scary. Next Sonata would be trying to dress her up in stupid flowers. "Mom! Do you see what she did to me? This looks so stupid!" With an annoyed huff she grabbed the flower with one paw and ripped it out, holding onto it and dramatically shaking it as she spoke next. "I'd be careful if I were you. She wants you next and if you go to her you'll be stuck in the den for hours while she grooms you and decorates you. Ugh..." Then again... Sonata was always so well groomed she'd probably get out in a few minutes.
She glared at her sister for a moment, but she couldn't stay mad. Besides, it didn't look like her glare did anything but illicit an apology he couldn't be sure the older sister meant. Her posture relaxed within moments anyway, brushing it off. It wasn't like her sister was going to change, especially when she was apparently running away from their mother. Now Sonata could somewhat understand, but certainly that's not why she wanted her? Cadence could use the bath whenever their mother could catch her - probably Barry, too - but she kept herself too clean for that. Certainly their mother wanted something else with her.
But what? Sonny didn't let herself think about it too much, deciding to hold off on visiting her and instead use this time to talk with her sister. She didn't know what to talk about though, so she sat in silence for a few moments. Finally, she decided to ask the most sterotypical question ever. "Have you made any new friends?" Being a little older now, it meant that they could explore a little farther. Sonata never left Pisces or it's tunnels, but she hadn't a clue where Cadence or Barry traveled. Besides, all Sonny was really trying to get from this is if there were any boys the sister was hanging around that Sonata needed to chase away.
