QUESTS/EVENTS
Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.

She wanted to see them both dance in her flames, she wanted them to scream and apologize for being born with fangs instead of flat teeth, she wanted them to rue they day they both were ever born. They were both terrible at everything; intelligence, manners, spellcasting and strength. They didn't even try to run away!
They were both stupid and deserved to die.
Once the buildup wa sufficient in her throat, she let out the black tar-like substance that glinted and crackled with an inner orange fire, ready to be alighted, all over the mutt, along its back, the top of the head, coating its wings, and then she let it dribble and she spat on it to seal the deal.
With the stuff coating her teeth, she grinned. "I'm going to enjoy setting you on fire."
She didn't need fur or skin to be alive, right?

Ashtoreth thought she could protect her little sister. She thought she was strong enough, at the very least, to help Liora even if it meant sacrificing herself... But the hybrid's loud mouth doomed her-- and Ashtoreth was met with a blow from the boy, knocking her aside. The attack hadn't wounded her, but it had left her sister open. Thunder crackled through the air, burning at the child's eyes.
LIORA! She wanted to scream as she scrambled to her feet, getting hit with a thick black tar. It clung to her feathers and fur, soaking in deep. Jaws agape in a silent scream, the noodle lunged towards the boy, desperate to distract him, to pull him away. She wasn't watching for Feverfew's flames-- she didn't care. If she was set aflame, fine. Anything to save Liora, who had come only because Ash had asked her to. Liora was just listening to her big sister, foolishly, because she didn't know any better.
Ash would do anything to save her. Winds picked up around Ashtoreth and she tried to throw them at the rhino children, trying to buffet them back. Her magic roared around her, but she knew how the wind was. It was fleeting... And she was so, so scared she would fail.
gonna say the electricity broke the ice apart, hope thats ok!
In her increasing panic, Liora was barely coherent enough to hear the threat delivered by one of the rhinos; she turned her gaze to him just in time to receive the bolt and in that instant, all of her senses dulled. The pain ripped through her body, jumping through her nerves and setting them on fire all the same. It burned and tingled and numbed, frying everything that made her her. All she could do was screech - an unholy, pained, wrenching noise that died with the leaving of the crackle. Once the electricity sizzled out, so did she - she was left unconscious, falling limp on the floor after the pressure and heat of the bolt snapped the ice apart. She was no more than a lump of oily, black and reeking feathers, effectively dead to the world.
