Ah, it was very green indeed. Gadanai found herself grabbing things as she walked, her trunk wrapping around delicious foliage, plucking it free, and pushing it into her mouth. It was absolutely delicious and a true place of heaven. It was also near Cetus, which was her favorite place to be. A pleased roar erupted, deep and hard to hear. Her ears were relaxed and slowly fanned against her. "Good job, Jasmine," she cooed, coming to a stop so she could reach out and pet the giraffe where she always did - near that love gem on her neck. It was so shiny. Gadanai only wished she could see her own ruby, but alas, fate would not have it. She shook her head, then tossed it up, giving a loud, ear-shattering bellow into the green place. Once she stepped hoof into the room, warmth filled her and the giraffe to stand a little taller, at her full height. It was so good to be back and to be surrounded by all this green. Reaching out with her head, letting her face brush against some of the towering bushes and lower branches of the trees. Those words of praise were taken with a shy smile, "I'm glad you like it . . it's always green here." Joining in the nibbling of some of the plants. They were far more satisfying to eat then the sad little things that grew in Orion. Her long steps carried her deeper into the plant-life, seeming to have brightened up since the place the elephant had found her in. If only poor Jasmine knew what this rotten elephant was up to. If only. Alas, she did not. Gadanai would rub her evil hands together if she had any. Red eyes held more truth than her voice, which hummed quite pleasantly as she followed Jasmine deeper into Eridanus. This place did feel a lot like home, though. The tall plants and thick green did well to cover both the elephant and the giraffe as they browsed. "Is it what you remember?" she inquired. Her trunk reached out and touched Jasmine's tail, following it down to the hairs on the end, which she twisted around a bit before dropping her appendage toward the ground. She knew no boundaries, especially with this one. She would get this one used to every touch; make herself seem so sweet and trustworthy. The spirits of the giraffe were lifted up as she walked through the room, this was the place she first woke and spent the first week of her life before going to Orion, is brought back a number of memories for her. "Yes, and so much more." She kept walking forward, deeper til they reached the center of the room; only pausing upon the touch to her tail. First thinking Gada was trying to get her attention, but it must have been nothing. Mind was elsewhere with this place. When everything was similar. As she made it to the center, the young female turned her head over to the elephant. "Isn't it beautiful?" A smile now strong on her face, facing Gada now. The other seem to distract her worries on life, it was nice for a change of pace. Before, she worried about the heights and waiting for Troy to return; but now she just enjoyed the beauty. Gadanai felt pride in seeing the giraffe react to her return to her birthplace. She moved to stand beside Jasmine, tromping over brush that remained in her way as if it wasn't even there. Long neck reached down to get a better listen to the request that was about to be made. Smiling at their kind words towards her; at least point the giraffe did own Gada for at least something. After all, she offered to protect Jasmine and then took her here. The tall female would probably do anything as a thank you. "What?" As she stared at the giraffe, she tried to shift the air. Why? To see how the giraffe would react to the slow restriction of air. Unfortunately, she failed, but remained silent about it. No need to break trust... heh. Gadanai reached out to Jasmine's face and stroked her cheek gently, gazing into her eyes as if she were love-struck. Her body was relaxed, red eyes piercing to green. This giraffe had proven useful and was very submissive in nature. The sweetness of her personality was almost enough to make Gadanai sick, except she was too busy fantasizing the ruin of this poor mammal. She was completely unaware of the attempt of magic from the elephant. Her tail flicked slowly behind her as they both stood there, waiting to hear what Gada had to ask of her. Jasmine didn't pull away when the truck reached out for her, not expecting anything else but the soft touch. Tho, her words did caught her off guard. Stay with her? Trying to read into the request a little further. Green eyes danced over the face of the other female. She only knew of kindness from the zebra, but it had been so long and she was still so young. Stay by my side . . . be mine. That was quite the request, and forever was such along time. "Forever . . ." Trying to form her words together, and a way to respond. "Ummm . . ." Mostly the giraffe was taken back, trying to figure out if this was a request for friendship or more . . . or something completely different. Jasmine had no idea and felt like she was stumbling on her thoughts. As the trunk trailed along her chin, the giraffe spoke, " . . I am grateful to you helping me. If not, I'd probably still be there, never leaving and waiting for something that might never . . . happen." Voice trailed off a little bit, returning her gaze to Gada. ". . .I can try." Gadanai saw hesitation as Jasmine tried to find her words. Patience wasn't a virtual she truly had, but needed to feign until she was certain that Jasmine was firmly within her grasp. As the tall one spoke, she smiled again. The giraffe claimed she'd try, but Gadanai didn't want to settle for that. She wanted a "do." She fondled her own tusks as she considered something. "It would please me so, if you would be my friend from now until the end of our times," she said carefully, "To have such a beauty within my sight is such an honor." She wanted to turn and vomit for saying what she did, but whatever it took. She had to start somewhere, right? Her trunk touched Jasmine more, inhaling her scent and feeling every texture and curve of her body within immediate reach. She couldn't help it; she enjoyed touching her property. It would please her to be Jasmine's friend? That statement was very touching and she found herself grinning like a foolish child. Maybe it was the fact that she had been alone so long, but it didn't take her that long to come to the conclusion that being friends wasn't a bad idea.After all, where was the harm in being Gada's friend anyway? She seemed like a nice gembound. Jasmine would soon nod, "If, if it would make you happy." And she did hope that it would, " . . then I would be happy to be your friend . . forever."
