The tone of the voice and the words spoken carried themselves right into Gadanai's large ears. She closed her eyes, slowly inhaling as she absorbed it all into her memory, and soft smile etched onto her mouth. As she opened her eyes, she found herself being greeted by a flower from Jasmine. She took the delicate thing from the lanky lady and twirled it around. She tucked it behind her right ear, shining eyes on Jasmine before she turned and slowly began leading the way. "Come along," she called. Once more, she tried to focus her magicka on the spell known as Scale. She imagined the air thinning. She imagined it being hard for Jasmine to breath, panicking as every ounce of air was sapped from her... and gave a rumble when her spell failed once more. What was she doing wrong? She pondered it, the mentally shrugged it off. She would just have to keep trying. "Tell me more about yourself," she demanded softly, continuing her sauntering through brush and foliage, snagging some leafy deliciousness as she went along. Seeing Gada put the flower behind an ear helped add a skip to the giraffe's step,following her deeper into the great brush of the room. Everything here grew tall, wide and lush. It was breath taking to say the least. Tell me about yourself. She hurried to keep up with her larger friend, "Oh me . . . not much to say." Eyes dropping down as she walked her steps carry over the crushed green below her. As if following someone in the deep snow, Gada left an open path in the plants. Jas glanced to the path behind them and a gentle glow of magic radiated off the female. If the elephant looked behind, they would see the crushed plants reforming and their trail vanish into the brush. "But I like green things and watching them grow. " Simple really, "What about you?" Not much to say? Gadanai could of laughed, but stifled it. She wanted to know weakness. I suppose having little to say is a weakness, itself. Gadanai was met with a small clearing. She paused to look around, then looked at Jasmine again. She inspected her further, trying to determine future plans with the long legged dame. Perhaps... no. She wouldn't think of such a thing. Not now, not ever. "I am a warrior," she stated, as if that were all that needed to be said. To her, that's all Jasmine needed to know, for now. The large elephant found a patch that had less green and pawed at it, digging up dirt and dust flinging upward. She then laid down with a grunt, rolling in the dirt. She used her trunk to scoop and fling more over her back and body. It felt good to have fresh dirt covering her skin. The bath she took cooled her. When satisfied, she heaved herself back to her feet and gave a loud roar. Now, while Jasmine was, one again, preoccupied by something, Gadanai tried once more to perform Scale. Ears perked, Wow,a warrior and so young? Slow lying to a stop as Gada began to paw her foot at the earth. That did impress the giraffe, but she soon began to watch as the other began to toss dirt about onto their grey skin. It was an odd practice, but her friend seemed to enjoy herself. "Having a warrior as a friend, makes me a lucky gem for sure." Smiling softly as she keep close by, she nibbled on the near bye branches of a tree, standing a little shy of 10ft, so her reach was great. The tongue of the female reached out, wrapping around a branch; long and black. Nibbling happily, seeming to be rather content as of now. Gadanai checked her flower. Luckily it was not crushed, but it was a bit dusty. She twirled it until most of the dirt fluffed off, then placed it back behind her ear. She wandered to a brush near Jasmine and began stuffing her mouth, mind busy on the idea of trying Scale again. The failures were frustrating, but she couldn't deny that it was good practice. "You're a very lucky gem," she said in a frank manner. She glanced at Jasmine, the resumed eating, pausing between bites to put focus into her useless uterus, which was her gem. It hurt sometimes, but it only made her sadism deepen, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The thought of it forced a wicked grin onto her face. She closed her eyes as she chewed, opening them as she felt the air change. She snuck a glance at her giraffe, watching for the reaction she had been waiting for since they met. Her sadism was hungry for everything, anything. As the air thinned around Jasmine, slowly stealing air from her. It hit it's peak and she watched full on, eyes wide enough to take everything in as far as Jasmine's reactions. The tall female glanced down over to the red gaze, finding their kind words flattering. Am I really lucky? Shrugging a little bit as she paused between a few bites of leaves, "I think your the lucky one, so brave and strong." It was true, Gada was everything that Jasmine wasn't; at least from what she could see from their short time together so far. The elephant was so full of confidence, and the giraffe hoped some might wear off on her. Maybe it might, after all, she did promise to stay with them forever . . as as long as possible.

All was perfect; standing in a perfect room and now a new friend who seemed to care so much. What could go wrong?

Jasmine was about to reach for another mouth full of green, but something felt wrong. The air appeared to grow thin and the tall female appeared to be out of breath. Discomfort was all over their face, straining to fill her lungs. What's going on? Knees began to wobble as she became light headed. For a split second, she met the gaze of her protector and seemed to almost plead for assistance. Yet, soon the air would grow normal and her lungs able to fill.

Couching, the giraffe felt weakened now, head still light and spinning. "Did . . . did . . you feel . . that?" Gasping for breath between words, she couldn't have been the only one to feel that or . . was the air just thinner up so high where her head was? So dizzy.

This was a thrill. The way she stumbled around, the look on her face as she looked to Gadanai for help... it was sweet, sweet gold. She watched the entire thing with sheer joy on her face. In the back of her mind, she hoped Jasmine wouldn't notice. Overall, however, she couldn't of cared less. It was so fun, so delightful... then it ended. She composed herself and changed her expression to wildly concerned and confused. "Are you okay?!" she asked. "I am so, so sorry. I was trying to practice my magic on a bird I saw in the trees, apparently it affected you instead!" She played up the apologetic look and caressed Jasmine's gem. It still felt like she was spinning, having to lean her tall form against the tree they stood by, filling her lungs before exhaling. Now that it was over, whatever it was, she was beginning to feel better again. Green gaze darted about til she found the face of her new friend, feeling their touch to the base of her neck. What did she say? Doing her best to focus on the others voice. "Please forgive me, Jasmine." Oh, it was an accident. As if that made it all better.

A weak smile, "It's . . it's alright Gada." Voice was soft as she spoke, "You didn't mean it . . . and I'm feeling better." It wasn't unheard of for magic to backfire and go wild. Many of the children that were in Orion were always practicing their magic and so many accidents would happen from it. This wasn't Gada's fault; they wanted to protect her.

The elephant observed; calculating, memorizing. Jasmine was so easy, it was so fun, but almost sad. She smiled sweetly at Jasmine again, eyes softening as she wrapped her trunk around the base of Jasmine's neck, pulling her down to her knees for an pachyderms version of a hug. A tusk was on either side of her neck, fitting against her almost like a (very wicked) glove. What a fool, this tall one was. "You are so beautiful," she muttered. That was no lie; Gadanai saw Jasmine as a beautiful creature. Unfortunately, such was going to do the very opposite of saving her from the evil of this particular mammal. To her, Jasmine was a treasured piece of property. Her favorite toy. She slowly released Jasmine, then reached for her face, caressing her patterned cheek even more gently than the first time, feigning empathy and compassion like a seasoned manipulator. She pulled the flower from her ear and tucked it behind Jasmine's and smiled up at her. "It looks better on you." --------- "Speech" Thoughts OOC: nooooooooo-hooooomoooooo @Jasmine

The air around her was back to normal and Jasmine felt the dizziness come to a stop. That was better. Before the giraffe could continue to tell Gada that it was alright about her mistake. No one was perfect, it was just a fact of life. "You are so beautiful," Was there a flutter in her chest? "Oh . .. thh . . thank you." Stuttering a bit as she was about to walk ahead and stretch her legs.

At least, she was, but a strong hold met her neck and pulled her closer to the grey female. So strong. She could just feel it by the ease that Gada had to gain control of her movement by just holding her by the neck. Coming in close, for what left like a hug. Jasmine felt the flower be bestowed onto her, "Do you think so?" Trying to look up, as if to see it behind her ear. "I think it looked lovely on you . . too." The flutter continued.

Jasmine would soon stand up straight, once allowed, smiling to Gada. It didn't take long for the female to put the mistake behind her.
