A solid nod was given when asked if she really believed that Jas was beautiful. Of all the lies she told and would tell, Jasmine's beauty was one of truth. She kind of... envied it. At the same time, she didn't, because she knew she had strength in who she was. Pride glowed within her chest, while Jasmine experienced a different kind of feeling.

Without another word, she gave a final gaze to Jasmine (one that relayed feelings she did not actually have), then turned about before beginning her walk again. There was much to see here. Part of her hoped to find a shelter of some sort; something they could call their own. If not here, she considered Cetus or Canis as secondary options; both pleasant to her.

Putting behind the incident imminently, the long legged female could only smile as she followed behind Gadanai. Moving at a rythmic pace, each step rocked her forward. The green around them grew deeper as they pushed forward; large ferns, towering trees, green moss over grown on fall logs, and so much more. Most would just see a wall of green, but Jasmine saw it for more. It was beautiful and full of life, a change from the starry room; where not much grew but shrubs and weeds.

For the time, she would stay silent; mind filled with thoughts of the green but also where their journey would lead them. This room did have some extremely tall trees; ones that not even Jasmine could reach if she was an adult. It made the two look so small. Those had hollowed roots like a cave in the tree. The female had also seen a huge fungi once when she was little. Was almost nostalgic, seeing everything again. Better then I remember.

The large mammal lumbered onward, the smell of foliage and the feeling of brush touching her skin made her feel even more at home than Cetus did. It was a surprise to her, but both were wonderful to her. It seemed to only make sense to settle here and call it home, oblivious to what Hasira had filled Jasmine's head with about the place.

After some time wandering and some good ol' snacking on the go, Gadanai came to a wall. Vines, moss, and various plant life grew up and into the rocks, finding every tiny crevice and crack available. She looked both directions, then began heading to the right, noting something that resembled what she was searching for. To avail, it was just that; a shallow cave that would serve as an adequate living space fore both her and the giraffe, even as they grew into a fully matured adults.

In relation to the rest of the room, this cave was well hidden by tall trees and thick brush, ferns and bushes growing up like a protective and edible fence. Gadanai walked around the cave, finding the dead in hidden in shadows, then wandered back to the front. Her trunk reached up high and a loud roar erupted, echoing off the large and distant walls of Eridanus. She ended it with a loud blow of air, then gave a deep rumble that not even Jasmine would be capable of hearing.

"So," she began, looking up at Jasmine. "Do you have any other friends?"

With shelter and food accomplished, now was time to learn about possible competition, threats, and enemies. Any of Jasmine's friends would likely end up under one of those three categories, unless they were as gullible as her. In which case, they would become likely targets to her sadistic addiction.

Once the long trek trough the green came to an end, leading them to a rather large cave, Jasmine took the moment to shut her eyes. It felt like they were both walking for hours and the poor dear wasn't use to such exercise. Most of her days in Orion just consisted on standing about, going to and from the stream as well as practicing magic in the little garden that grew there. None of which took this long and so much energy out of her. Just a short nap. That was all she wanted, but the great trumpeting of Gada shook her awake.

Jasmine looked about as the elephant came out of the mouth of the cave, walking over to her. Those green eyes dropped down to meet the red gaze of the other. "Do you have any other friends?" The question caught her off guard. Only one . . besides her. Giving a soft nod, "Yes . . well I think I still do. I haven't seen him in a while now." Looking away slowly, back in the direction of the starry room. "But . . I think he has been away to train with the Lord of that room." The Lord that was the reason the zebra and giraffe never left the room; until she did today.

"Hm."

Gadanai seemed to ponder on something, then sighed dramatically. She tisked, shaking her head a little and wandering back into the cave before laying down, one side pressed up against a wall with legs tucked in a comfortable enough position. Her trunk signaled the tired giraffe to join her in laying down. Lay down next to me, you little wench.

"Tell me more about the friend you... well, the friend you only think you still have."

As the other motioned for her to take the spot next to them, Jasmine made her way into the cave and hovered over Gadanai. If only for a moment, before she slowly began to bend up her long legs neatly under like a knot. Even on the floor, the giraffe towered over the elephant. Her neck reached up high, but she would do her best to bend her neck and have her head low to hear Gada better. "Tell me more about the friend you... well, the friend you only think you still have." She wanted to know of Troy?

Letting out a long sign, Jas would begin. "If you would like me to . . . his name is Troy." It felt weird to say his name out loud, since it has been so long. "He actually woke up me with, in this green room . . well I woke up before him and saw him break free moments after." Her gaze stayed on Gada as she spoke.

"We went together to Orion and met the Lord there, we would explore the ruins but slowly . . he just got busy with training. " That was what he wanted, to no longer be small and weak; telling Jas he wanted to protect her. The thought of him made her smile a bit. He did mean well. Curious if she would ever seen him again, some day.

Gadanai watched her movements, pleased by the extra warmth provided by the furred body that was now beside her. Her trunk dragged through the dirt of the ground, occasionally flopping to watch the dust disperse from under it. As cruel as Gadanai was, she was still a juvenile and would act as such in the simplest ways at the oddest times.

As Jasmine told of her friend Troy, processed thoughts for the future, filing it all into her spectacular memory. She tried to imagine little Jasmine emerging from her own chrysalis. For a reason beyond her, she also imagined Troy to be a giraffe. Her ears fanned once more, then flattened firmly against her head as Jazzy finished speaking of her friend.

"Too busy for you as well, ay?" she said. Her eyes watched Jasmine's face. "Don't worry, Jasmine. I won't leave you like he did."

Delicate fingers found their way to her face again, caressing and coercing her head closer to Gadanai's. Before she could stop herself, she breathed, "My treasure." She froze. She knew what it would mean to most, but to her, it meant that Jasmine was literally a treasure, capable of being stolen like gold from a pirate. Her irrational conscious was concerned she had outed her intentions to Jasmine. Way to blow it, twit.

Talking about him made the giraffe miss the zebra more; it felt weird not being with the colt and her chest felt a little empty. At least, it did for a moment until she remembered who she was with now. Gadanai was here with her and soon the touch of their trunk urged the giraffe closer. "Don't worry, Jasmine. I won't leave you like he did." Oh, that's so sweet of her. Ear's would perk a bit at the second part of the elephant's statement tho, Treasure? Leaning away to meet those red eyes.

"I think of you as a treasure too, so lucky to have such a valuable friend." Silly thing, it went right over her head and her trust grew deeper to the young pachyderm.

In that moment, her body relaxed and the realization that she'd been holding her breath came with it. Her treasure hadn't realized it at all, which made Gadanai feel a little silly. Of course Jasmine didn't catch on; most weren't walking around with the aim of owning someone else. Hasira and his spawn children were outliers, obviously.

Once more she began caressing Jasmine, but more on her leg and chest now, as she began to feel drowsy herself. She hadn't truly slept since she hatched. Now seemed like as good a time as ever, seeing as she had a beauty curled up beside her, foolishly trusting a sadist. She would not fall asleep first, however. She had too much to pay attention to and to observe.

"You look tired, Jasmine... rest your weary eyes." She pet her giraffe more, stroking the interestingly patterned pelt.

She didn't realize how tired she was ether, yet as she was laying down it became more apparent. Eye lids were heavy and a sweet smile on her lips; those gently pets to her pelt began to rock the giraffe to sleep. As long as she was with Gadanai, then she would be safe. She would keep me safe. Jasmine's head would drift down to the earthly ground below them and rest near the knees of the elephant.

But before she would drift away completely, a sigh escaped her lips. "Thank you for setting me free . . ." Free from her life in Orion, out here she felt alive; even if she didn't realize she had jumped from the frying pan and into the fire.
