Her lizard friend's life evoked all sorts of curiosities. Gracie listened to him speak with great respect, although she didn't much care for the carnivorous ways. It was usually the first thing that deterred her from making someone a friend, the off chance that said friend might make her legs dinner. She could never expect Ghanyarah capable of hurting her. The day they met he had saved her life from certain death... a log had her round body trapped half way in.

A giant snake named Aquarian. This would be something Gracie would remember, giant reptiles had a way of spooking her. And the marsh was the proper atmosphere for a frightening villain to live in. Of course she kept that to herself, she didn't want to offend him by saying his father sounded fearsome. He ate spiders for breakfast, is what the panda was gathering. "That's great you have a family," she replied thoughtfully, unaware she may have sounded a bit bitter at her own lack of a close knit group. "I wonder what my family looks like!"

Gulping, Gracie's eyes got big when Ghanyarah suggested she meet his father one day. "Oh... uh. Yeah. I could do that. Maybe I can meet this brother Dragon too!" She giggled. It wasn't funny, nervous laughter to try and cover up the anxiety she felt about meeting scary things in scary places.

"I went to Cetus once! A long, long time ago. I visited you for a short time but... Wandered off and got lost," Gracie laughed genuinely this time. Her younger self was a bit scatterbrained, it was definitely a work in progress. "You decorated your tree! How wonderful and happy the tree must be! The flowers must be absolutely beautiful. No doubt they smell just like sugar!" She imagined a picture of a tree... A fairy tale sort of creation. And like that she was dangerously close to being so lost in thought it would take minutes for her to come back to reality.

The reptile grinned brightly as she spoke of him having a family. It was a strange thing to think about, yes, but... he was proud of it. Weird and cobbled together as it was. She wondered loudly of her own family, prompting the reptile to tilt his head. He... actually didn't know if Gracie had a family or not, but from what she said, he had to assume that she didn't. If she didn't know what her own family was like... it was likely that she didn't have one. But did he want to break the news? Ghanyarah blinked at her, but his slow mind took too long to think of something to say, and thankfully they were onto the next topic of conversation just as quickly. "Yes! You should meet Dragon." Ghanyarah nodded confidently, and that had him wondering too how Dragon would react to the panda. Oh, he hoped that he wouldn't want to eat her. She was much too kind, he liked her too much to allow the alligator to try and eat her.

But Dragon wouldn't do that, of that he was certain.

As she delved into a story of having visited Cetus, he arched his little reptile brows and listened attentively. Ghanyarah couldn't help but chortle as she mentioned having gone there to visit him, and getting lost afterwards. He'd have to make sure to guide her back to Eridanus once they were done visiting in Cetus then. He wouldn't want her to get lost, especially now that he found himself worrying that Dragon might want to eat her before he got to introduce them. "Ah.. yes," He added uncertainly, averting his gaze as she spoke dreamily of what the tree must be like.

It was most definitely not like that at all. But... he wasn't going to ruin the illusion. He would just have to conveniently forget to show her the Divine... and hope that she didn't remember. "Where are you living currently?" He asked suddenly. It had occurred to him that he never really knew where exactly Gracie lived. Obviously she lived in Eridanus, but... "Do you have a special tree?"
