Stryker wandered away from the group that she was now in. She was curious about everything but she also was hungry which was why she wandered away. Being a baby eagle was a hard. Her down feathers were starting to disappear and become flight feathers. The baby gembound wanted to hunt and fly high in sky. Being a chick and not being able to fly was boring and lame. She just wanted to be independent and wanting to be able to protect herself instead of having others do it for her. She didnt like being on the ground but she knew that she had no choice until she had flight feathers in she was grounded. Stryke stopped hopping and looked at her baby wings. They had slots for the flight feathers but they were still what greyish brown and white. She stood there looking around for food but saw nothing. If only Stry was up in a tree then she would be able to see her prey.

Rio had been exploring the Eridanus eating some ferns when he heard something. He lifted his pied head and looked around with ears forward. Ri wanted to see what was out there and if it was dangerous. He hadnt met anyone that were dangerous but he still was a baby and new to the world. The spotted pied boy was nervous about meeting other gembounds. He usually stayed by his brother Roanin's side because her was his baby brother and being a big brother meant to protect the younger one. Rio soon found the source of the noise and he found a baby gembound like him but it was a strange gembound. It looked to be a bird of some sort and Rio wagged his deer tail lowering his head towards the ground as he got closer. "Hi...there I am Rio, but yous can call mehs Ri." he said after stopping a foot away while sniffing the air near the baby gembound.

Lillith had left her home with her father, mother and siblings for a few hours to explore. She had done it ever and never asked her father to take her exploring. Her father had been so busy that she didnt want to bother him. As she was exploring she came across two water pools and she decided that to lap up some water and padded at the water with her big paw. Lillith missed spending time with her father and mother but they were always busy but still it hadnt been the same. She became an older sister within months and now she really didnt like staying all day in her home. She would go out explore all day and come home at night. As she was looking at the water, she heard a small voice and went to see who was there. As Lilly got closer, she saw a spotted brown and white deer and what looked to be a baby eagle. She wandered closer to see who the babes were and if they were safely protected and what not.

After spending some time in Polaris and having met a new feline there, RaikZik had finally decided that perhaps he would come and visit the second place he had ever been too after he first emerged from his chrysalis. It was in these fern covered, tree blooming area that RaikZik had insured his leather-winged brother had found something decent for him to eat. He had spent enough time soaring over the trees, around the Monarch, and had even found himself something to eat. Yet soon enough he found his gaze falling upon a group of gembounds. Two of them looked relatively young and the third was a pure white fully grown bear. Interest peaked for a small moment and he began to descend towards them.

Heavily he landed on thee branch of a tree and peered down at the group. Feather's ruffled and his beak clicked curiously. "Hello," He called to them, his voice deep and almost scratchy in sound.

Stryker looked at the other two gembounds that were there and her held tilted some. Both the gembounds were quite odd looking but one was a baby gembound like Stry was. He was white and brown with blue eyes that were adorable. The other gembound was a big full grown gembound that Styke couldnt figure out what it was but it stayed quite which was okay to the young babe. Though the fawn spoke and said that his name was Rio and that Stryker could call him Ri. "I ams...Stryker...I am Stryker." she said. A sound came from above them and the bird looked up as she heard a hello come from whatever made the noise until Styker's eyes landed on another bird gembound. He was different shades of grey with purple eyes and he was an adult. "Hi...how you get up there?" Stryker said.

The little buck heard the bird say her name and saw the white bear show up. How many other gembounds were out there? Are anymore coming? Rio thought to himself. Rio missed his brother at the moment and wished that he stayed with him but Rio wanted to explore. The little bird on the ground said something to the trees which caused Rio to look up at the tree. There sat a grey bird and he didnt seem like a threat. He watched him though. Ri was grateful that he was too big for the gembound to pick up but the bear could easily kill him. "Hi I am Rio..." was he could say. His tail flicked quickly as he whipped his head towards the little eagle on the ground and then to the bear.
