I recently graduated with two undergraduate degrees, and I'm seeking graduate education. I live with four cats, and a wonderful spouse, and sometimes excellent friends. I sometimes go away without warning, so please be aware of that. I'm a painter and that will always always come first; RPing feeds my painting, which is how i justify spending my very sparse free time on it, but sometimes the painting needs mean that I won't be around. I welcome contact on IM sources.
I've been RPing over forums and other formats for 16 years now.
My memory is not the strongest and I sometimes find lore-based games overwhelming, so please be forgiving and gently remind me if i trip on some lore somewhere and get something wrong.
Please note that because I do use my characters in my professional art, it is absolutely critical that I maintain ownership of them. I also tend to keep my characters and play them on other games. I am happy to give credit for their designs, but if it's on my professional website I am not allowed to refer to designers by their online handles-- I CAN use initials. I can show you examples of what this look like if you have questions.
Please do not adopt characters out to me or order art from me if any of this makes you nervous or gives you pause. I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable, and for that reason I prefer not to leave things unspoken. Likewise, and this is motivated by experiences on another game, !! Please do not under any circumstances adopt a character to me if you reserve the right to reclaim it under any circumstances.
Ownership of characters for me has to be permanent. Thank you very much!
I usually post in the early mornings, and I'm not always available to post every day. Sometimes I go away for several days without warning. I do try to maintain a routine but it doesn't always work. So be aware that I'm not usually available to spree-post unless we previously make plans, and when I am available to spree-post, if it's not in the morning, don't expect great things out of me; I only psot in the mornings because that's when the rest of hte house is asleep/quiet, and i'm really terrible at filtering out auditory stimuli, so i need the quiet. If I spree-post, it won't bet quiet, so my posts will probably be disjointed and may have odd words in them.
I don't count my words in posts for philosophical reasons, but I tend not to post super-long, so be aware of that.
I am nonbinary genderqueer and my preferred pronouns are xe/xyr/xys, though i will accept any nonbinary pronouns.
