ooc - with bri's hiatus, this is set for some time after the war

Xerxes wasn't even sure what happened at the war. He'd been sleeping most of the days since, letting his sore body recover and be useable again. Right now, he was pretty stiff and sore and he couldn't leave Canis. No big deal, right?

Well, he was getting pretty bored laying around here all day and he didn't expect anyone to cater to him, especially Cure. He denied most, if not all, help that he could. The only thing he really couldn't fight was hunting for food, but he never felt like eating much right now anyway and it was noticible how much weight he'd lost because of it. He wasn't skinny at all, but his face had thinned and he definitely had more of a waist now than before the war.

He was terribly grateful that he stopped bleeding finally, so he could move around some more without risk of opening any wounds. He was glad to be finally on his feet again, but it was a very slow walk.

He left the den he'd been in for days and decided to walk around Canis, as best as he could anyway. It had been a while and so he thought back to when he and Cure played hide and seek here not too long ago. It brought a smile to his tired face and he finally stopped and sat, his legs tired and aching. It would take some time getting back into his pre-war physique, but he would get there. But for now, he was going to enjoy being outside of the den and seeing Canis again, though it had only been a few days.
