"Yeah, that's my daddy, Leon... Makyna is my mom, she's a lion, all gold like me, not brown. Are you guys .......... gonna stay? You are, aren't you?" Baroque encouraged, his bright blue eyes shimmering as he looked between the pair of adults and the new child, beaming with a grin of white, pointy teeth. He couldn't help it, Thistle was teasing him...

After a second, the thought settled in. Had Thistle not been officially joined? Baroque thought it went without saying-- heck, she had been living there, but that was when the boy raised a paw to prod at his dad's arm.

"Daaad, maybe we should have a big meeting!" Sure, the last meeting had ended with... Unfortunate happenstance, but that was a completely different thing. Most meetings weren't nearly as gruesome, he thought. "We gotta make it official! This' and Yarrow and Carrie... This', do you think Nova wants to join? We should have a big welcome party! For everyone!"

He was practically bouncing on his paws now, excitement built up simply from being around Thistle. She had a way of bringing out the youthful childish side of Baro that he was usually too scared or shy to show off.

The whole situation was giving the capybara chills; was this the right move? Would Leon accept her request and would Yarrow's life be sparred the fate of living in the fear of the great lord? She slowly approached, to make sure not a large distance was created between her and the child; motherly instincts kicking in. Watching, Carrie held her breath as the little one was picked up. He seemed so happy; this must be right after all. Right? Soon hearing the response of Leon, "Thank you . . really!" Moving closer, eyes falling on the two other faces before back to her son, "Oh no Yarrow, this is Leon." Hearing he liked the bear made her smile, glad this might help the two of them forget their grusome pasts. Glancing about, "Where is . . Makyna?" Seeming a little confused that the lioness had not shown up yet, "Is she away?" If so, Carrie would be a little sad. She wanted to apologize right away to Ky, though if she needed to wait, she would. Ears perked as the two younger ones brought up becoming part of the group. A group? Leon couldn't help but chuckle as the young hybrid snuggled into his fur and claimed that Makyna was really nice. Had Carrie come here telling her child all about Makyna and nothing of Leon? Not that he minded. Carrie and Makyna had always been closer, and he was willing to bet she was expecting his wife to arrive instead of him. No matter. Thistle quickly corrected the child, and the bear grinned, nodding his confirmation when she asked of his wife. She went on to talk about the group of Gembounds that lived in Pisces, that Leon led, and chasticed Baroque for not inviting her to join the group yet - though Leon had to admit that he kind of assumed Thistle was part of it already.

"Yes, I think that would be a good idea, Baroque." He added after his son. A group meeting would be an excellent idea. He needed to distribute proper ranks and titles, and introduce everyone who hadn't met before. He just hoped a big meeting wouldn't be too overwhelming for Carrie. "She seems to be busy... She might be out of the cave." Leon said thoughtfully. He had thought Makyna was in Pisces when he came running to meet Carrie, but maybe he'd been wrong.

The bear furrowed his brow and attempted to reach out to her through their bond. Makyna? There's someone here to see you! He implored, waiting eagerly for her response. "Why don't we head over to the dens? We could give you and Yarrow an official tour." Leon grinned again, shifting his gaze to the capybara hybrid still on his arms.

Yarrow felt so calm and happy up in Leon's arms, safe and warm and up high. Everyone around was so nice and kind, and they would never hurt him! Leon, Thistle, Baroque, Yarrow and Mama. Who knew there were so many nice gems out there, all in one place!

And, Leon was talking about dens! Homes! He bounced a little, gripping Leon's fur, and he stared open-mouthed and ecstatic at the bear and then at his Mama. "Tour! Tour tour!" he said happily.

He nestled into Leon's arms, grinning as widely as he could, all the pain in his little hands and feet completely forgotten. This was heaven!

Thistle grinned, looking between the little child and his mama with a big smile on her face. They were so nice and cheerful, and she was already looking forward to meeting with them and showing them around Pisces and telling them little secrets and stories she'd gleaned from the place. In her head they were already family, the line already crossed and never backed out of, and the future possibilities were making her really happy to contemplate!

When Leon suggested a tour, she nodded and looked at Baroque. "We can help, right? We're great tour guides!" She glanced at Carrie and grinned. "Let's go!"

Baroque smiled back at Thistle, practically bouncing on his toes when his dad mentioned tour guiding. "Y-yeah, we know all the best spots," he agreed, nodding with a big doofy grin. His pawsteps plodded after Thistle, his tail sweeping back behind him like a little rope for Yarrow and Carrie to follow. He flashed a smile back at them occasionally, but he knew that Thistle would do a lot of the talking and explaining. She had the best way of telling things, after all.
