The other dog was so nice!
Ares was mostly impressed that he'd adapted to him not talking so fast. The Shiba Inu had met a few individuals already, but most had insisted on talking to him, despite not getting a reply.
Not that he minded that - he liked hearing people talk - but sometimes it felt like those Gembounds didn't want to
accept that he could not provide a verbal reply.
But this one was a friend. He accepted Ares as who he was.
He even waited for Ares to eat his fill before eating what he'd left, despite him having hunted the rabbit in the first place.
He was much like a knight, Ares mused. His
Knight of Flowers. Humble, gentle, accepting.
Once the rabbit was devoured, Ares followed his friend's example
&& started cleaning himself. The blood in his golden pelt made for a gruesome sight, but he was only aware that he didn't like the look
&& smell of it.
Meat wasn't Ares' favorite meal, but eating plants wasn't exactly nutritional for him.
He hated killing
&& vowed to work on his magic to
maybe find a way to use it for
absorbing nutrients from plants. Like a reversed Host spell, maybe.
With his hunger sated
&& his pelt cleaned, Ares was in a playful mood. He stretched his paws towards his friend
&& smiled wickedly. Before running away, he boped his nose against his friend's chest.
Catch me., his behavior said, encouraging the Pitbull to try to follow him
&& play.
