Kerberos was guarding the entrance to Orion as he often did, on one, non-descript, rather boring and plain day. It had really been nothing new, but he had felt a conviction to finally try and understand the leech of a cat living in his fur. He wasn't sure how to do it, but he knew of gems that could form bonds with one another, connecting each other's minds.

The great dog thought there would be nothing better than to be able to finally understand his favorite gembound in the whole world. Yes, there was Bones and Giggles and Aza'zel, and privately, he wanted to connect to them as well but he hadn't thought of a good way to bring it up. As it currently was, he was simply giving the feline a buffet of words to listen to as he tried to put together the way to make things happen.

"I know there's a lot of things that worry you, and I want to help." "If we could just think at each other, it'd be much better!" "And if it's bad or uncomfortable or anything, friend, I'll find a way to get rid of it... But since you can't talk, I have to try, right!"

As the goblin creature didn't reply, as usual, he just took the cold, hairless creature's presence as approval enough. It was hard not to wonder about what it might be like, to be a hairless cat that couldn't talk. The cold baby was quite different from Ashtoreth, and appeared to be just his friend and interested in very little other gembounds around the cave.

Which, in its own way, was mildly concerning. Kerberos wasn't sure if the creature even ate. He wanted to know so much more about the feline, for after spending cycles with the creature they had formed quite the bond. It would be nice to be able to give him more of a warning before he jumped into lakes to get away from violent gems, as well...

With a huff, the great canine tried to focus a bit harder, all three of his minds pushing towards the one goal of reaching the goblin's thoughts.
