As time went on things for a certain dragon seemed to come to a pause. After the events of the cave and during the great time of sleep a certain dragon seemed to succumb to the effects as well. Finding his way to the newest area and seeming to just fall, he came to be encompassed by a pink chrysalis with creamy-white swirls cutting through it. Inside the chrysalis changes were occur and for all the stillness and for how the chrysalis seemed to go unnoticed by all there a multitude of things occurring so when the day finally came and it cracked in two everything changed.

First the great white head rose with not one but two eyes perfectly in tact as well as both great pink horns rising above the snowy cranium. However, the look which those pupil-less eyes gave around at the world seemed to be lost as if they were awakening to a new time. In the dragon's head memories --or dreams?-- played out quite vividly. Friends, battles, enemies, blood... They formed together in a cornucopia of information that was far too detailed to be fallacy. The things that had happened... He knew them to be true and yet... He felt distant from them as if they'd happened a lifetime ago. Even that partner, the tiny one known as his brother seemed to no longer be there. In the last life he would have been enraged, distressed... but now, he could bring himself to feel nothing. It was as if everything happened to a different dragon...

Was he given a second chance? Could he start over? Right the wrongs he'd done? Only time would tell.

With a rumbling in his throat the great beast rose to his massive paws carefully like a newborn babe. His wings clung to his back, fresh with a coating of wet but that didn't bother him for now. He needed to get his feet before he even tried to fly. Instinctively he knew what to do, just as he knew the stories of the Others in his mind. For now though he would just observe, things had certainly changed here.

They swam together, as they always did, beneath the surface of the great sea. This was their home now, and they knew it well. They'd spent countless weeks together exploring every crevice. They knew not to get too close to the vents, less it burn their scales. They knew each island. They knew how to hunt here, what to eat, where to sleep, and navigation came easily even when blinded by the clouds of air beneath the water or the light above. This was their home. They belonged here.

Something else did not, though. Cerulean noticed it first.

Another stone wakes. His voice rang clearly in their head.

Shall I find it? Kreool thought back.

See that it does not threaten us. Cerulean confirmed.

They turned as one to swim closer to where the noise of birth had originated. The found the creature as it moved to stand, its shadow cast over the water's surface with slow movements. Cerulean urged the timid Kreool forward. She hated the land. He'd take over if she needed him. She'd be fine.

They rose from the water on strong front limbs for the first time in days. Though the dragon's visage was blurry at best, they regarded him with a flare of nostrils and the gaping of jaws, scenting him, memorizing. They spoke, Kreool's voice soft and timid despite their size.

"So it was an egg stone!" She proclaims softly, maw curling into a delighted grin. "This one thought it would never hatch! Welcome!" Was that proper? Cerulean didn't need to put words behind his flush of approval and praise. Kreool was doing just fine.

It wasn't the sight of the other giant that caught his attention but rather the sound of water as something emerged from the depths. The dragon's head turned and his rose-hued gaze fell upon the dark form of a leviathan. He didn't know how he knew the word but it just came to him, perhaps from a memory that he couldn't consciously recall but the source mattered not.

The soft voice from the creature gave him a mild surprise but after the initial shock of seeing one so big with a voice so soft, he instantly recovered. If the creature's voice was small then so be it, it was just a part of her just as his stone was a part of him. For a moment no words came so to her greeting the dragon's massive head simply dipped as if to say "thanks" and give his own little version of a "hello". His lips didn't curve into a smile but his eyes and the aura he seemed to give off was far from hostile, it was more of questioning and a general amity.

Soon the dragon's head would snake forward slowly, nostrils flaring as he silently asked for permission to give the creature a sniff. If it was denied then the dragon would lean back, respectful of the other's space.
