CAVE STATUS
QUESTS/EVENTS
Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.

Freedom couldn't have come quickly enough. The pain made her run without thinking, like a scared animal. For a minute there, she was absolutely terrified for her life. With blood dripping upon her fast-moving legs, she did her best to hold onto her spell, managing to focus well enough to give herself air now that she had some inkling of hope for survival. She had a plan, now. Hopefully one that would work. To keep out of reach until he was breathless, then turn for another charge. It seemed logical, but truly, she should of been running away for safety.

Gadanai attempts to Cast Spell — Scale( Keep thinning that atmosphere! D; )
Nothing! His fangs clamped down on empty air as the elephant retreated from him. Enraged that she'd escaped his clutches so easily he opened his mouth to roar out a challenge but found his air precariously cut off again. With the aftertaste of blood swimming in his maw he shut it, watching the elephant run through a gradually reddening mist. His breathes were coming in pants as he tried to gain his wind back but couldn't. It should have been concerning but he didn't have the capacity to think about it at the moment. The only thing he could focus on was the retreating elephant bathed in blood.
Eerily silent now he walked forward and then transferred to a run as he tried to catch her, his bloodied fangs were bared as this time he tried to attack her back by leaping onto it and bringing her down with his greater weight. He couldn't fly now, the air seemed far too thin to get his bulk off the ground but he could jump and try to ride her down.

It seemed like no matter how much he struggled, he still managed what she feared. His claws sank into her back and he tore her to hind knees. Gadanai roared in agony and rage, all sense of self leaving her body as time slowed and reality warped. Without hesitating, she rolled to her hip and swung her head around. Tusks stood at the ready as always. There was a large possibility she would flee from him, but first she had to survive. At least she'd have battle scars to make her seem a little scarier...

Gadanai attempts Physical Combat ( Shank with Tusk )
He didn't quite manage to bring her down but he did get his fangs into her back, he ripped and tore and tried to make a meal of it... until the elephant swung around and sank one of her tusks into his neck where the base met his shoulder. Blood trickled down but it was a superficial wound, nothing that wouldn't heal with time. Besides, the pain only managed to turn his attention elsewhere.
With a snarl he whipped his head around, releasing her back and aiming to go for her face where her trunk connected. It wasn't really a conscious effort, he just felt pain given by something knew and thus aimed to stop it and possibly feast on more blood.

Breathless was a way to describe what she felt. The blood loss was starting to make her dizzy, hardly able to think through anything anymore. Thankfully, it didn't take much thought to react to having her face bitten. She gave a hard jerk with her head to nab him with another tusk point, rumbling as she did so. At this point, there wasn't much question in her mind whether or not she'd be eaten today or not. Now, her only concern was to give him half as many holes as he'd put into her.

MAGICKA LEVEL 81% RESTORED TO 100%
Another stab of pain was what he recieved from daring to grab the face of the beast but he didn't think through whether it was a good move or not, he only reacted. He reacted again at that second stab of pain, this time in his heavily-scaled chest. It scraped into the plates, scratching up the surface and loosening a few scales that dropped onto the ground below. The next day it would leave a definite sore and weak spot in his "armor" but for now it was just a scraping pain like skinning a knee on a sidewalk.
Still his reaction was not to let go it was to dig deeper into that trunk, to loose more blood and rip off as much skin as he could. He snarled and growled as he began to shake his head back and forth, allowing the needle-teeth in his mouth to do the most work shredding and tearing into her flesh.

A little ping of satisfaction rung deep in her soul as his scales fell away, but it didn't seem to do much more damage than that. She started to bellow in frustration, but didn't get a second of it in before he started to shake his head, pulling flesh away. Tears sprung uncontrollably, a shriek coming in place of the bellowing roar she'd intended. Another attempt at a jab was proven pointless, so she tried to pull away. Success came with the sacrifice of the chunk he held firmly between his teeth, resulting in another shriek whilst trying to escape.

ROLL 5
Gadanai attempts Physical Combat ( STAB AND SHAKE )
The shrieks of his victim fell on deaf ears as he tried to get more and more of the elephant's trunk. He could feel her shaking and moving beneath him as she tried to run but he wasn't letting go that easily. He clenched his jaws but the elephant still managed to get free but with the cost of a chunk of her trunk. Baratheon threw his head back and snapped down the piece of trunk into his gullet.
His eyes then met with hers again, red meeting red as he looked at the trunk he'd savaged. It flowed with life-giving liquid and he planned to take more. With an angered snarl he leaped again, this time he didn't close with his fangs. He instead charged into her, throwing his full body at her in an attempt to bowl her over. Subconsciously he called upon his magic, transferring an intense amount of magic from himself and into her. He wanted to knock her down because in his mind perhaps he could get atop her and rip and tear where she couldn't get back up.

Blood poured from every wound she carried, filled with regret for picking this particular fight, today. Her opportunity came when he reared back to haul himself into her, doing a wobbly run until she was able to encourage her magic to do it's job. The winds gusted in her favor, making her heavy body light. She took off through the trees, not looking back for even a peek as she made a mad dash for home.

Gadanai attempts to Cast Spell — Pickup( GET THE FUCK OUTTA DODGE )
He charged into her, the weight of his magic making him heavy while her own magic made her light. The result being him slamming into nothing but air while she sped away. His meal was escaping. Enraged he let out a vicious snarl and an echoing roar as he attempted to pursue her but in the thick tangle of trees his bulk held him back. Blood red eyes searched among the foliage but it appeared that she was gone for good, the only thing that remained of their fight was the blood dripping on the earth which he licked at.
Enraged he lifted his head to the sky and let out a fierce roar an echoing challenge to the female that he would be waiting should she return. For now in his state he had to quench his blood lust fortunately there were plenty of creatures around for him to kill and eat.
