Even with the small bout of practice that he had gone through, Hati felt as if he had made grand improvements to his finesse with magicka. Spells seemed easier to cast and with higher chances of success, but he was still but a novice at the art of spellcraft. Of course, he wouldn't admit this. Only Skoll was willing to say so, and it made Hati furious. 'Brother, why can't you just let me have a moment of self-imposed glory? Why must you ruin it all?' With a grumble, the sun continued onwards into the cavern tinted in cool colors of greens and blues. Ears flicking forth at even the slightest sound, Hati puffed out his chest, thinking to himself. 'Perhaps there is a challenger! Brother, I could show you what I've been able to do for us.' 'Just don't hurt Tag-und Nacht too badly,' Skoll thought firmly to him, making sure that Hati was sure of it. "Yes, yes. I shall not bring harm to ourselves." With that, he sat down, fiery-ish tail swishing across the floor. He contemplated giving a challenging howl, but he decided against it.

He'd just wait for someone to come along.

And along came Fira, who was actually quite content today. She felt rather good about her recent achievements, practicing a lot of Magic and cleaning out some of the bedding in the den. Destiny had been so pleased. The leopard grinned to herself as walked. She wasn’t really going anywhere in particular, she was just stretching her legs a bit, taking a walk. Up ahead she saw a bright orange creature, who looked a bit like a wolf. As she got closer, she studied the Gembound, wondering what type of creature he was. He was certainly no leopard, nor any kind of Cat.

“Hello,” she said cheerfully as she approached. “How are ya today?”
