"Most would think that. But the war does actually scare me. i'm assuming you want to hear the less gruesome daydream, yes? i was just born after all... the blood is actually scary. very scary. for me, at least... anyway, let me tell you about this abyss and the creatures there. Or do you think i'm an insane madwolf and want to stop talking to me?" the quite young wolf replied. Cuanakrys was still young, only 1 cycle old, yet blood could still stain n scary daydreams. "I myself prefer the less murderous daydream too. it's not my creation, it is my imagination's creation." Cuanakrys rambled to herself, suddenly feeling she might have been ill in the head from birth.

Hnnngh. Listening to this crazy wolf was making Tuck’s head hurt. And she was annoying him, too. “Just shut up!” he snapped after listening to her ramble away for a minute or two. He was letting his guard down now, feeling less afraid of her. She didn’t honestly seem the type to randomly attack him. “Gods, you’re crazy!” He glared at her, as if the fact that she was insane was something she could change and that it was her fault she had been born that way. Tuck was young and foolish and didn’t realize how insensitive he was being.
However, he did think that maybe he could help her — at least just to get her to stop talking about her weird daydreams. He wondered if getting her to fall asleep would work. Maybe when she woke up she’d be different. Maybe it was only because she was just born or something. How would he know?
As he thought about all this, he began to feel an itch in his back. It was barely noticeable at first, but then it got progressively worse, until he actually felt the urge to get rid of it somehow. He reached behind himself with a tiny hand and — felt something pushing upwards out of his back? “WHAT IS THAT?” he screamed, jumping about and trying to reach the thing properly. But it was dead center in his back — that one spot no one can reach.
What it actually was was a Dormire Flower, a native plant of Origin, one that caused sleepiness and could be used to calm nerves and to sedate Gembounds. Unknowingly, his wish to help this crazy wolf had manifested itself into a flower growing from his skin!

Cuanakrys took one look up and realized the gembound was panicking, and she instantly realized why. "THERE'S A FLOWER ON YOUR BACK?!" Cuanakrys yelled in shock as she told the monkey to come down. "Ok, i'll pluck the flower out of your back. and then i will eat the flower after smelling it. sound good?"

“Oh Gods, oh Gods!” Tuck screeched, nearly twisting himself into a pretzel to try and get this thing off of him. Somehow, through the sound of his own screaming, he heard the wolf’s suggestion. “Yeah, yeah, just get it off!” he agreed hastily, not paying any attention to the fact that she had said she was gonna eat it. “Hurry! I don’t know what happened!” Finally, he managed to calm down enough to hold still in front of the canine’s face, turning so that his back was to her. Right now, he was too freaked out about the plant growing from his body to be worried that she could just as easily eat him as she could the flower.

Cuanakrys took special care not to eat her new friend and only to eat the flower. she sniffed it, then ate it. Afterwards, she was calm, but a little woozy. she then slurred "Whaa? What's going on? Everything is more calm... the war daydream is gone, too. hmm..." Cuanakrys then started daydreaming again, with the same glazed eyes as before.

Tukluk breathed a sigh of relief when he felt the wolf gently pluck the flower from his back. He turned around to face her again and watched as she sniffed at the tiny white flower and then ate it. Everything was normal again for a moment or two, but then she started acting somehow even weirder than before, asking him what was going on and saying that everything was calmer. He was about to say that of course everything was calmer! She’d just gotten a plant out of his back! But then she said that the war daydream was gone. He raised an eyebrow at her as her yellow eyes glazed over again.
“You’re daydreaming again, aren’t you?” he said with an irritated tone. “Don’t you ever do anything else?”
Then he saw something small and white growing out of his left shoulder and turned to look at it and “OH MY GOD, ANOTHER FLOWER!” He quickly yanked it out, but was horrified to see the root still attached under the skin. “Why is this happening?” He threw it away from him in disgust — and then a brilliant idea occurred to him. “Wait, hold on,” he said to no one in particular. Then he concentrated really hard. His collarbone grew warm for some reason — he’d never noticed his gem, so he didn’t even know it was there yet or why he had it — and after a good long minute, a tiny red flower started growing from his left arm.
“I can grow plants out of my body!” he shouted, as if he hadn’t already known that.

"huh..." Cuanakrys replied. This daydream was about a young... Cat? he seemed like he needed friends..." she rambled. "he looks lonely..." Cuanakrys snapped out of it and shook her head. "No, that's not real. maybe i can focus my efforts on just one object, trying to stay here, in reality..." she picked up a rock, and focused. she focused hard. she then said "huh. maybe i should become the rock.." aaand she failed. badly, sending a blast that mussed her fur, which also smelled funny.

Ugh! Tuck had just made an amazing discovery, and turned to the wolf with a triumphant grin, but she was already spaced out again. “You have problems!” he said very loudly. She ignored him, or seemed to, anyways. And now it smelled funny next to her. “Ew…” He shook his head as he stared at her in disbelief at how inept she was. “Man, I’m outta here!” Quickly, he jumped a full fifteen feet into the air and clung to the tree he’d climbed down to talk to her. Then he jumped to the next tree and the next, trying to find his way out of this murky swamp.
If he never saw that crazy wolf again, it’d be too soon!

Cuanakrys tryed once again. she saw fleeting images. Hostile gembounds lurking in fog. she screamed, almost a demented scream, and dropped the rock. "WHAT IS THIS THING? GET THE FURNACE AWAY!" Little did she know that these where memories, a fleeting glance, of memories attached to this rock.

Kito bent down to sniff the fungi clinging onto a rotten log. The colony brown toadstool covered the crumbling, dark wood in patches. "Hello there little friends." He chimed sweetly to the mushrooms."You don't mind if I have a taste?" The fungi cheered at the striped equine. Clearly they just could not wait him to eat them. Excitedly, Kito opened his mouth, his blunt teeth looming over to tear them from the log, but then, something snapped his attention away, and the fungi abruptly fell silent. He heard a conversation happening over yonder and he felt a strong urge to check it out. The zebra foal pricked his ears at the voices in the distance. He sloshed through the marsh, the mud dirtying the white stripes on his legs as he made his way towards the mysterious source.
Oooh! I hope it's one of those Echoing Cave Rats!
Stripes burst through the foliage and zebra came to a halt in front of what looked like a weird fox. The screams this creature let out.. it was horrifying. Kito stared the Gembound with wide, blue eyes. The furnace?
QUICKLY, THE FURNACE! GET IT AWAY! IT'S EVIL!!
Of course! He had to do something! This poor fox-thing was in peril! He had to help. Kito reared on his hind and let out furious war bray before charging to the other Gembound's defense. To Kito's horror, his spindly legs interlocked with each other, sending him flying. His face smashed into the damp ground before him, filling his open mouth with foul tasting dirt.
