QUESTS/EVENTS
Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.

Head lifted high --but not too much so, no need to look unapproachable-- in confidence while the pudgy gray pup trotted forward, exploring and getting to know about all that there was in the caves. Knowledge was a powerful thing and since day one he wanted to know more about it, to see what all he could do. His thirst for knowledge lead him to follow his nose to the moisture and plant-clad room. Like the hillocks where he was born, everything here was green but even moreso. He found himself in awe as he stared around, nose twitching at the strange sights of towering plants.
At his tiny muzzle a smile began to grow, a grin that just looked downright jovial as he stared around. Wait till he told Hawke about this! That pup would be so excited he wouldn't know what to do! He laughed to himself while his tiny tail began to wag. Upon striding forward to investigate the place more closely he saw a fuzzy little rabbit nibbling grass not far away from a bush. Something inside of him clicked and he automatically dropped into a crouch. After staring with moss-green eyes the canine bolted forward, attempting to catch the tiny creature but inadvertently calling upon magick as well.
A tiny gust of wind appeared behind him and aided in his speed. By the time the rabbit saw him it was too late and he was already there with his teeth at the prey's throat. It was all over in a flash and the tiny pup felt his chest puff out proudly as he grabbed the bunny and began to shake it around. Playing with his newly captured prize like a toy. Poor ettiquette for newly fallen prey? Sure. But did he care? No. He just wanted to have fun and show off his prize.

"Talking looks like this!" Thinking looks like this...
It was strange. The feeling of being within this jungle once again after having thought she had died. Well, in all honesty her mind probably knew she wasn't dead...it was just playing mind games with her. Large paws trailed through to foliage, carrying the hellhound through he area as she made her typical rounds around Eridanus. With renewed life she now had more responsibilities than ever before. Her pack was slowly coming together much thhanks to Cure, though she was still in need of holding a meeting between them all so they could all get to know one another and officially be presented with things that would show to others that they were part of the Guardians.
Audits twitched as the noise of something being chased quickly pulled her attention and obsidian eyes with thin emerald rims shifted and peered off into that direction. Her legs moved without command and soon enough she was upon the young pup that was now playing with his kill. A brow arched as her whip like tail "Well, aren't you a mighty warrior," She mused thoughtfully as she slowly eased back onto her haunches, curiously watching the pale little pup.
The pup was so interested in playing with his "toy" that he didn't even hear the approach of the other. Not until she spoke, her feminine voice coursing through the air and straight to his ears. The rabbit he was tossing fell to the loamy earth, momentarily forgotten, as he turned to see who'd spoken to him.
He saw a large she-wolf with pitch black fur and a long whip-like tail. She was... strange... perhaps even scary but her words didn't seem malicious. No. She seemed friendly so he would behave as such back. Besides, she seemed like a lovely person to have on his side. He'd found cute before... perhaps she could be his strong. The thought made his tail wag and a charming little smile form on his face.
Her words had him puffing out his chest and raising his chin proudly. A warrior, huh? He'd never thought about that before but he liked the sound of it! "Really? Do you think so?" He practically grinned ear to ear as he stood as tall as he could... which really wasn't very tall at all. "Pharoah the Mighty Warrior! I like that!" He said with a small laugh, though he was only half-joking.

Warm laughter spilled from the mutated wolfess as she watcheed the pup quite literally puff himself up with the words. "Oh, most definitely! You should be proud of that! Not many can claim the title of warrior," A grin stretched over her features as her voice was full of play and teasing. Of course, she wasn't lying about it either. Many gembounds were warriors in their own right, but not all of them could ever claim the title without throwing effort into it. He certainly had the makings. "So your name is Pharoah is it? That's a fine name for a little mighty warrior like yourself. My calling is Arkrael. Did you wake up here?" She questioned curiously as she glanced around curious to see if she would see a recently shattered chrysalis.
Not many could take the title of warrior, eh? Was she being truthful or just pulling his leg? Either way he adored the praise, something he hadn't ever gotten before... or at least, not very much. Usually he did the praising to try and sway people towards him. In fact... "Thank-you, it means a lot coming from you! You must be a great warrior yourself! You look like one!" It was meant to be high praise, as well, because why wouldn't this one be a fighter? She certainly looked like one.
He nodded his head when she asked about his name, throwing on more praise that he ate up. His tail was going a mile a minute now as he looked up at her with his split face. "No, I woke up in a place with lots of water and a big waterfall! I just came over here to explore." He wanted to see all that he could and learn about everything. "Then I saw this rabbit and I wanted to see if I could catch it." He picked it up again and lifted his tiny muzzle high towards Arkrael, offering the meager catch. "Do you want some?" He offered kindly, trying to play everything right so that he could gain what he knew was a powerful friend.
Arkrael listened with mirth. Oh how she could remember her own time as a young freshly born pup. They were such good times. Times where things had not gone awry. When the threats that currently resided in the cave did not even exist. A smile grew even more when the pup grabbed up the rabbit again and offered it to her. "Oh I'm okay. Thank you though. I had just ate moments ago honestly. You should eat it though! Any growing warrior needs to make sure they're properly nourished," She chuckled a little, her own tail swaying to and fro behind her. "So you woke up in Pisces then. Did you meet anyone there while you were in the area?" She questioned softly, her thoughts quickly moving to Leon and...more importantly...Makyna. She still needed to go find the lioness just so she could apologize for what had happened, but she had no idea where the lioness had gotten to.
He honestly wasn't ken on eating it but if it would help him grow and if it would make him out in an even better light. He dipped his small split head and began to rip at the carcass, he could find something else to play with later. His ears perked up to listen to the female while she asked him the next question. Someone else? He remembered the pup that he'd woken up with, Hawke, and how he'd left him behind. His intention had been to take the rabbit back to the other but he saw more benefit in eating it himself.
He saw even more benefit in saying what he did next. "No. I woke up all by myself." He said it casually, the lie slipping through his teeth easily while he still had his head down munching away at his meal. Why did she even need to know about Hawke anyway? He wasn't here and likely wouldn't come unless he brought him and if he eventually did then he'd think of some other reason why he wasn't straightforward with her... It would be so easy! Besides, Hawke was his Cute.
