Tuck suddenly felt pretty nervous about this whole
diving thing. He didn’t realize that they would have to go
even higher in order to do it, and glancing down at the world from this new height was downright terrifying. Cold fear gripped Tuck by the intestines and left him breathless. When Baratheon told him to make sure he was holding on tightly, he couldn’t do more than bury his claws further into his fur and let out a tiny, almost inaudible whimper. This had been a
terrible idea…
The dragon tipped downward, Tuck pressed his face into Baratheon’s head, and then they were falling.
“Aaaaaahhhhh!” Tuck was screaming the whole way down, which wasn’t actually all that long of a time, but while it was happening, it felt like an eternity. The tiny marmoset could feel his heart pounding rapidly in his chest, and the sound of the wind in his ears was overwhelming. He just kept screaming —
—
“Oof!” Tuck slammed — rather softly — into the top of Baratheon’s head when the dragon pulled upwards again. He was only vaguely aware of the dragon’s words.
“Down,” he said weakly, unable to say it any louder.
“I wanna… get off!” Yep. He was done. He was
definitely done. And he was pretty sure he was gonna throw up.
