Lots of the different areas that are in the caves are fairly moderate in regards to the climate, a good climate for a cave that is. But it really is very much different in this region of the caves, for it is very cold in here to be put fairly mildly, from the cold that is carried in this endless roaring wind that never escapes this region, and it is a cold that can invoke a particular kind of chill that descends into even one's bones. While the wind chill isn't that strong this day in the caves, it is strong enough to carry this tiny blue chrysalis in mid air, almost like how a leaf would when it's guided by the wind too.
Usually when one needs to free themselves of their confinements of their chrysalis, they need to independently free themselves most of the time with their own power, but the strong wind is already helping this chrysalis break apart, for it is whipping the exterior of the chrysalis which in turn is making it rattle from the inside too. The shaking from the inside and the loud noises from the strong wind is utterly terrifying the poor young one that's still stuck inside, her pulse is racing. The scenario she is in is almost like a ship on the verge of breaking apart and crashing. Her trapped body is tense, from how cramped it is in here and from prepping for what my come of this.
No... No... Please let me get out of this thing! GetmeoutGetmeoutGetmeout-! The thoughts are screaming in her, on the verge of panicking when it seems she's never going to get out. But then finally the chrysalis' defence have finally now dulled, as large fissures now appear from the inside and outside. Almost like a sudden explosion the rest of it just suddenly breaks apart fully, revealing something that may look like a flying squirrel, however this one is no rodent for she is a marsupial, more specifically a Sugar Glider. While the glider is glad that she is finally out, but she was looking down and immediately sees that she wasn't on the ground and was pretty high up, which makes her eyes widen immesely and she gasps in the panic of this worse situation, something which was a bad idea from the large gusts of wind around her. She spreads her stubby limbs out to stop the crushing pressure that is on them from being folded in with this wind. But when she did that, she finds herself being lifted into the air at a higher altitude, the sudden shift there made her squirm in panic, clueless to what the heck is happening looking around quickly to catch some odd wing thing around her spread out legs, she has just emerged but she's never seen these before. The wind is weaker, so she makes a attempt to try and land with these new wing things which she lands to this small side of the cliff safe for now. She lies down and pants very heavily in panic of what just transpired, feeling almost on the verge to vomit from the amount of immense stress in regards to a sudden and unwanted situation, although if she does it'll be dry heave since she has no contents in her stomach right now due to right now coming to be. Just stay here for now...

Tuck had to admit that he was finally in a part of the caves which he had never been in before, at least not that he remembered. He’d been almost everywhere, he thought, up and down nearly every tunnel, exploring nearly every room, and somehow this one had either eluded him, or his memory was failing. Either way, he hoped no one lived in this damn room because it was nearly impossible to move around in. He was so small, and the winds were so strong, that he had to grip the rock with his claws for all he was worth, or risk being tossed into the air and slammed into a wall or the ground.
The wind was strong enough to cause his eyes to water something fierce, and he could barely see in front of him, which is why he was nearly pelted with a blue stone when it came skittering across the ground at high speed. He ducked with lightning speed, but then realized that ducking wasn’t necessary, as a particularly strong gust of wind lifted the stone completely off the ground, just as it shattered into a thousand pieces. Tuck had to watch it by turning his head completely around while gripping the little grooves in the rock so that he wasn’t sent flying like the stone had been.
Wait a minute. Was there a Gembound in here with him now? He hadn’t quite put it all together yet, and didn’t realize that he’d just witnessed the birth of a Gemling. He just stared in horror as the small creature was pushed backwards by the force of the wind until it finally clung to the side of a cliff. Finally, the wind died down a little, and Tuck very carefully crawled his way along the ground until he reached the poor Gembound. “Are you okay?” he called up to it, hoping it would hear him over the sound of the wind.

The interval of weakened wind did make the Gemling relax for a bit, that wind was just crushing on this poor young one's small body. Now she wishes she could just get down from here... But she doesn't know if she can get that wing thing out again. She really wants to ask for help, but she really wouldn't want to bother and waste another's time. The few intervals of the strong wind were short lived for a bit and they picked back up for a few seconds, which caused her to close her eyes and purse her lips together tightly in panic, because when the winds blew against her they really hurt her eyes, they felt sore, doesn't help how at the Entrance of this region of the cave that the lanterns around here were painting the rocks around here as alpenglow in a bright colour that was also too much on the eyes. Her fur did protect her a little from the chill of it, but besides where she was she still wasn't very comfortable about it, not to add she has to hold on to the rock for dear life when the wind picked itself back up.
She relaxed a little more again when the strong wind went into another interval. The whole ordeal is leaving her quite shaken though, she keeps in thinking that she has been taken out of the frying pan and into the fire only to be proven wrong when something worse was actually in stall for her. Alright, she isn't confident that wing thing she has will work again so she'll just very slowly climb down this wall to the ground... But she's really too panicky to try and get down right now... Just wait out and hope she doesn't fall.
She heard the voice, with that her eyes open widely and she releases the tightness on her lips as if in shock that there was someone else here. Was she OK? Not really... But why would someone want to ask that, she's sure that this situation will be too much trouble to deal with and she wouldn't want to be a burden. "A-Ah yes, fi-fine." She answered back rather quietly but could still be heard, nothing of concern here...

Tuck was actually pretty happy by this sudden turn of events — that is: finding another Gembound in here — for one reason: He’d found another small Gembound! Someone who could relate to the fact that this wind could easily kill him! Although he couldn’t fly, and he stared up at the sugar glider jealously, not realizing that the babe had no idea how she’d flown in the first place. “Hey, are you sure you’re okay?” he called up to her, studying her tiny form in concern. “The wind’ll really mess with you in here! Maybe you should come down! That’s what you’re doing, right?”
Tuck huddled close to the ground, dreading the wind, which was picking up again. Ugh, was it even worth it to explore in here? What he wouldn’t give to be away from here right now!

It is fairly too bad for the other Gembound, while yes this wind is very much overwhelming, the moment this young Gemling learns how to use this wing thing properly, the windy areas shall be her domain habitat, in spite of size right now. Still the young thought that her claim of being perfectly fine would be enough for the other Gembound to leave her be and let her handle things herself after a few minutes. And so she tries to get down, panic once again showing on her when trying to go back down by slowing climbing on the rocks like she was a spider.
She looked back really surprised at the sound of the voice, surprised to see the other one is still here when she was sure that the first answer would be enough for them to leave her be.
She really does appreciate this other one's concern, and brings what they said into consideration. But she feels that this other one should just go, she's probably being an annoyance to them already... No doubt that they think she is being annoying, they must be mad at her.
"Yes I know it will... Yes getting down is what I'm doing..." She says rather quietly more this time, she wants to tell him to just go, but she doesn't want to be outright horrible. She is climbing down now very slowly though. Almost like she was blind and is carefully trying to feel her surroundings around her, getting closer to the other Gembound, the pulse in her own body's proximal is racing faster than ever now when she does this.

Tuck watched the creature attempt to get down to the ground, and he hopped closer to the wall, concerned that she would slip and fall and hurt herself. He could barely hear her words over the wind that had returned, though it didn’t seem quite as strong as before. Maybe it was because he was farther from the center, where the giant twister was. The marmoset hunched over, nearly pressing his face to the ground, no longer watching the sugar glider. He didn’t know why he felt the need to make himself smaller. He was so tiny already that no amount of pressing himself to the ground was going to keep the wind from picking him up if it wanted to. He just hoped the other Gembound got down all right.

Still clinging to the wall and is a little hunched herself, the Gemling very slowly peeked her eyes over to the spot where the other Gembound is, to see that they are still there. She blinks in confusion... Why are they still there? She said she's fine to them. Even if it was a complete lie so they didn't have to inconvenience themselves for her... A little wind won't hurt. Perfectly fine here! Most certainly don't need help. She keeps telling herself that, even though her tense body gripping for dear life on the wall still, and racing heart says otherwise. Most certainly, since her limbs are shaking in the fear too and not just from the strong winds. Honestly... She doesn't know what she can do? She doesn't know how to get that wing out and she can't muster up the courage to speak up and admit she needs help, thinks it'll be easier to just do it herself even though she's just stumped.
The only option besides gathering the courage to ask for help even though the other Gembound is clearly in a bit of a fickle themselves, is leaping off and getting her wing out... That's all there is right now... The Gemling hesitated, really unsure if that's what she really wants to do. But still... She doesn't like this situation! She wants to get out! The panic rising further than ever, which was making her Gem shake a little, in response to her panic and she felt that the pulse in her heart is surprisingly slowing down... The Gemling's panic tones down and she feels less dizzy. Don't know how that happened but unless she wants to cause trouble for that other Gembound by asking for help she needs to use that wing again. And that option is better than causing trouble for another Gembound... She has already tried the wing thing once so that's what makes it the better option... Or that's what she wants to say to herself... All to justify why she shouldn't ask for help.

Tuck was genuinely concerned for the tiny creature now, and the amount of time it was taking her to get down from the wall. He suddenly had an idea. What if he grew a vine out of his body and then used Plantcharm to reach up to her and wrap it around her body and then he could lower her to the ground? In the moment, it seemed like a great idea, though he winced at the idea of using the Host spell, since his wounds from its overuse were finally starting to heal. Still, she could die if she fell from that height, so a little pain in his back had to be less of a big deal than the possible death of a Gembound.
But it didn’t end up mattering anyways because when he tried to access his Magic, nothing happened. His eyes just barely began to glow forest-green when the flow of Magic stopped. With a sigh, he looked back up at the sugar glider in frustration. “I’ll try to help if I can,” he called up to her, unaware that she wanted the exact opposite.

She decides that yes she'll try and use her wing thing, it came out so easily from just stretching her limbs... She just can't muster up to ask for help... Surely they have enough issues on their hand to take out some of their time for her... Hearing the other Gembound over how he'll try and help if he can takes her by surprise. She doesn't make eye contact though, for she'll probably get questioned more things if she looks at him in acknowledgment and that look will just look like awkward silence between them, which may annoy him or may give the impression she's dumb... There's so many unpredictable things that she doesn't like if she doesnt do it herself.
Deciding to stop delaying she goes ahead and sorta crouches down to prepare to jump. Finally pushing her limbs off the rock as she leaps off the wall feeling a strong rush of adrenaline as gravity pushes her down to the ground. Hastily she stretches her limbs out again and thankfully the wings came out and slows her fall down to a gentle glide with the wind weakening for a bit, allowing her to thankfully make a soft landing nearby the other Gembound... She hopes she hasn't upset them...

It turns out Tuck need not have worried, because the little Gemling finally figured out a way to get down herself, which once again involved flying… which once again caused Tuck to become jealous. Ever since his flight with Baratheon, he’d even started having dreams about flying. Sometimes he wondered why he hadn’t just been born as some kind of bird. Why the Cave Gods decided to make him a marmoset when he so clearly wished he had wings and could soar above everything and everyone? He shook his head to clear his thoughts, and noticed the sugar glider had landed near him. Honestly, he thought she was actually pretty adorable. There was something about Gemlings that was just so cute.
“Hey, you got down,” he said with a smile. “Good job. Are you okay now? Maybe we should get outta here before the wind picks you up again.”
