THE FOUR KNIGHTS

I'm a sucker for group plots and I love mixing things up, so here's an Apocalyptic-Horsemen-inspired group plot!
The plan for these four is as follows:
They will all hatch together in one big thread and thus form a strong bond right from the start. They're obviously all different from each other (in all possible ways), but they complete one another and are tied together by a sense of belonging. Maybe they feel like a bit of an outcast compared to the other gembounds or are just socially awkward, that's up to you, but they definitely all feel the most comfortable among one another.

(I definitely won't allow this group to become a clique, obviously you're free and encouraged to throw your Knights at non-Knight gembounds!)

You can go wild personality wise. This doesn't have to be all dark and gloomy. Give me your interpretation of these characters. They're obviously not really apocalyptic horsemen, they don't belong to either heaven or hell, but they can definitely feel like a knight for a cause, a king, a queen, maybe even a judge over life and death - make them humble, annoying, charming, impatient, etc.
Whatever.

Disclaimer: I was raised as a Lutheran, went to church every Sunday for almost 16 years, was baptized and went to Bible School for two years. I know my stuff about the Bible and about the four Apocalyptic Horsemen - and this is not meant to insult anyone's believes.
If you feel like this is somehow an insult to your believes, please message me and we can talk about this :)

It's also not necessary to know anything about the Bible, the Book of the Seven Seals or the Apocalyptic Horsemen (in the biblical sense).

Could we use existing toons? Maybe Teyouma could become one of them.

I'd really prefer new Gembounds for this (I'm not completely against the idea of integrating already-existing Gembounds though), but either way, I'm not sure how well Teyouma would fit into the group.
He would fit into the stereotype of Conquest/Pestilence quite well, but I'd really prefer to avoid that. With the few words in his personality, all I can say is that he seems like an evil-for-evil's sake character, which isn't what I'm aiming for with this group.

If you have ideas how to develop him as a part of this group, though, be sure to let me know! :)

@Teyouma II

He originally was an evil-for-evil type of character, but then he died (and I went inactive). I am planning on some character development so he becomes something other than a greedy murderous baby, but he probably isn't what you're looking for right this moment. That's ok with me! I thought I'd ask anyway. :)

I'm gonna give this a go X3 @Hael I'm applying for Famine.

Name: Tacitus
Species: Burrowing Owl
Gender: Male
Element: Fungi
Stone: Sodalite, first talon on his right foot

Appearance: Tacitus is on the smaller side when it comes to burrowing owls. His wingspan is only 22 inches and he's an underwhelming 4.1 ounces, underweight of what he should be at his adult size. Perhaps it is because of his penchant for forgetting to eat but he will never get to be as large as his other owl brethren and will always seem as if he is malnourished. Physically he is weak and unable to sustain strenuous flight for long periods of time without tiring himself out due to his constant state of malnourished. It's also not uncommon for him to suddenly fall asleep out of nowhere due to his body being unable to keep itself awake through the lack of food and lack of sleep.

His feathers always seem to be scruffy and a bit dirty as if he's unkempt and not taking care of himself but the brown color that they hold helps to hide the dust and dirt on his body. However, the white spots which always seem to be a shade of gray-ish white do not. He has the typical marks of a burrowing owl with spots scattered on his body and a half-X on his face above his eyes. Speaking of his eyes, they are the only thing that differ from the norm of normal burrowing owls. Both of them are a deep, deep blue that match his sodalite-talon. His eyes always seem to stare with an unsettling amount of intelligence, as if he is looking straight through you.

He has a rather high-pitched voice for a male but it fits his small body and stature. With his high voice he speaks in a rather clipped way with eloquent words that are present even at birth.

Personality: He always seems to hunger for something. That something is knowledge. Tacitus always wants to know more, to learn more, to see more, to do more. He can never get enough of learning new things about new subjects or new things about old subjects. He seeks to fill his mind with anything, any sort of information he can find. He is a scholar, first and foremost, and always will be. Knowledge is power.

So narrow-minded is he in the search of power that he tends to neglect everything else. His body condition tends to be lacking because he's constantly on the search to feed his mind that he hardly worries with feeding himself or grooming unless he has been reminded or if he absolutely has to. If he could he would ditch his body altogether and simply float around as a spirit to absorb knowledge, but alas, he is bound to an earthly body and stuck with the limitations it imposes such as eating and sleeping and grooming. To him all of this extra is distraction and is wasteful but a necessary waste. What he cannot stand though is unnecessary waste.

A mind that is underdeveloped and unpracticed is such a waste and better off dead. If you aren't going to use what you were gifted then you should just not exist at all in his mind. Why be lazy? Fill your waking hours with as much knowledge as you can! Learning is like a disease to him, always expanding his mind he is. He would do anything to know more and may in the future do such things. Conducting "experiments" to see how the body works and "tests" to see how others perform under certain conditions. It's all for the sake to further his mind and he takes this very seriously. Others might call him callous or a monster for some of the things he may try but Tacitus would simply shrug and say it's to quench his insatiable thirst to know.

With other individuals he can sometimes come off as short depending on the situation or he may seem like an eloquent charismatic fellow, albeit shooting off words that sometimes leaves others' heads spinning as they try to keep up. It all depends on how he sees you... whether he thinks you're wasteful or a beneficial to be around. With his infinitely expanding mind Tacitus is quite good at speaking to others and he's also good at coming up with plans on the spot. An expert strategist he is someone that you want on your side rather than against you. Those that he allies himself with are like-minded individuals and his family whom he feels an innate kinship with. He doesn't quite understand these emotions but that's why he will devote his life to the study of this and many other things because he just has to know.

~Just adding this blurb in. For now he'll be physically weak and almost narcoleptic because he doesn't eat/sleep enough but he'll most likely learn Recover and/or Absorb Nutrients as a way to circumvent some of the effects of his malnutrition, but not all as he'll have already done irreparable damage in his childhood.~
