Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.

Not long into Tuck’s rest, he heard an angry hissing voice from somewhere on the ground, demanding to know what was going on. Oh good. Another angry reptile. Tuck snorted to himself — until he saw who it was. “Hey!” he called to the snake. “I remember you! I tried to heal your burns that one time. How’re you feeling now? Have you grown new scales since then?” He looked around at the party going on, hearing in the background that two cats seemed to have offered to go hunting. Good! Now that the snake was here, they definitely needed some meat! Meat that didn’t talk, that is.
“Hey, you should stay, and maybe hunt some mice or something. This party needs food for all you carnivores. I’m good over here, though.” Tuck patted the spot where he’d just buried a pumpkin seed. “I can make my own food.” At this, he turned and focused on the seed, imagining a giant pumpkin in his mind. What ended up getting was a rather small version of the grand one he’d seen in his head. But that was alright. He couldn’t actually eat a giant one all by himself, anyways. With a shrug, he started tearing at the outside of the pumpkin with his teeth and claws, working his way inside to wear all the pulpy goodness was. He’d be sure to keep the seeds, though. Maybe he’d eat one or two, but not all of them.

Cuanakrys decided to make more arragements- One of a leaf that was made out of leaves, one of a wolf face, and one of a snake. They turned out a bit decent, but some things just where not the right shape, size, or color to fit in. It did not matter. The arrangements of things turned out nicely, and that was what mattered.

The one cat that matched his elemental abilities, who had made ice sculptures as well, assured him that it would have looked nice if it worked. Ghanyarah was still a little embarrassed, but he nodded and rolled his shoulders in a squat reptilian shrug. It would have looked nice, but oh well. The other cat, the dappled kitten, spoke of how sometimes she could see things that happened sometimes. That didn’t make sense. Ghanyarah could see things that happened all the time, as long as he was there to witness them. Maybe she meant in some sort of magical regard, that she could see things without being there. He wasn’t sure. The subject quickly shifted after the marmoset suggested some of them go hunting to provide food for those attending the party. The two cats who he felt he had been previously entertained volunteered, leaving Ghanyarah with no one to show off to.
Moments later, a large snake had emerged from somewhere that Ghanyarah hadn’t seen, asking what the reason was for the party. Mildly amused, Ghanyarah remained silent as the red wolf explained that it was a party, and the monkey suggested he stay and hunt as well. He thought it funny how the snake had expressed concern as well - it seemed only the reptiles had their wits about them, but Ghanyarah was lenient and willing to allow the party so long as he could reap the reward of keeping them all safe. He didn’t know what the snake’s motive would be.
Soon enough his attention shifted back to the red wolf, who had dedicated her time to erecting small arrangements of rocks in different shapes. Ghanyarah waddled closer, relishing the cold and the snow as it swirled around him. He summoned his magic, Quickly condensing the snow into a small replica of the red wolf in among the piles of rocks she had arranged. “What do you think?” He asked, cocking his head with a grin.
Widget's nose brought him many places. He followed it all over the caverns. It was always exciting to follow his sniffer because there was no telling where it would take him next. This time it caught a whiff of something rather interesting. He sniffed out not one, no two, but five Gembound trails! They were mostly feline, but that wasn't even the best part. They all lead to the same exact place. Wasn't that wild?
Widget padded over the stony terrain of Polaris. He was so fixated on the scent he barely noticed the growing voices, and an one monkey-shaped ice sculpture in his path. With a loud knock, Widget bopped his narrow skull against the ice-hard, wonderous work of art. The lithe canine stumbled back on his rear, somewhat dazed and surprised. "Oh my..." He breathed as his sparkling, bright yellow eyes stared up in awe. What a glorious sculpture of a monkey this was, it filled his being him with all kinds of emotions. He looked around at the gathering of Gembounds with keen eyes, his ears swiveled to pick up on conversations. This must have been some sort of happy get together, a..a party perhaps! Widget's mouth opened in an excited pant and he allowed his tongue to flop happily out. "Oh wow!" He gasped. "Is this a party?" He loved parties! Or more like.. he love the idea of parties, since he never actually stumbled across one, until now.
The whipped stood up and shook the dust off his black and white pelt. Then suddenly, his head shot up and his face contorted into an worried frown. "Oh no! I-I didn't bring any presents!"
Waiting for an answer, the reptile's attention soon fractured on the arrival of another animal, a stark black and white dog - another canine - that had joined the party. Ghanyarah's tail quivered slightly as he shifted his gaze to the approaching whippet who was excited to have stumbled upon the party, that much was evident with his wide eyes and lolling tongue, though was quickly distraught at having not brought any presents. Ghanyarah didn't know what comprised a present besides a half rotten carcass left in the mud, a common gift to Aquarian. But maybe that was the whippet's style.
"Your presence is just fine." The reptile replied coolly, then slowly cracked another wide grin on his maw. Ghanyarah: Master of Puns.
Hael wasn't really the best huntress out there (yet, she hoped) and she was glad someone volunteered to help. The fact that it was Splashy, the other cat present, made it even better.
Maybe Hael would be able to copy some of their tricks? Or could ask them for help if all else failed?
Either way, with the other cat there, Hael was sure they'd be able to bring something back for everyone.
"Okay!" The kitten cheered and bounced up and down as she looked at the other cat. "I'll lead the way." She added and walked away from the group to the quieter corners of the heart of the Cave.
Maybe some mice were hiding nearby? Surely lesser Gembounds were curious about the ongoings too!
Hael looked back over her shoulder to see if Splashy was following and smiled at the gathered Gembounds if they happened to look her way. So many new friends! I have to bring something back for them.

Well now... This place sure is a blast from the past! A terrible one that's for sure, but even though it probably hasn't been that long in reality but it just feels like it's been centuries since he stepped talons into Polaris. Which is an awesome factor actually! As due to that feeling he has, like it's been so long, his memories of Polaris are very hazy. Yeah... Had to make memories fade away to get over this little trauma of his... Talk about pathetic right? He still can't look back about his past, but it's because Albeon just feels the strong urge to face-wing and groan about it in utter embarrassment.
'Was I really like that?' Thoughts like that usually come to his head when these moments happen. Good thing he can't time travel; it'd be so cringe worthy meeting his younger self.
Makes him wonder if he should return to Canis to see if he's OK entering there now... Hmmmm nah... Bad memories or not, it seems pretty barren anyway hardly anything to do. Besides... Things being more sanguine for him or not... There's still something he kind of needs to do... Hopefully he'll find something out on how to do it soon though.
When flying inside into Polaris a feline passed him by the entrance as they were leaving Polaris, his eyes were on them for a second, but when he turns around he notices the appearance of Polaris' interior was fairly different.
For one the hell are these ice statues? One looked like Tukluk who he met once! ...OK how long has he been out of it really? Seriously, what the hell this is completely new to him, and somehow he gets a bad feeling from these ice statues! He must have really missed out on a lot, he really needs to didactic to get his outdated mind up to speed... Hmmm. He doesn't really know whether all of this change in appearance is positive or negative... Being so used to looking at things with a pessimistic outlook, which funny enough even though he's grown up quite a bit after reawakening and feels like a weight has finally lifted off his shoulders his pessimism has ironically grown since he’s less naïve now.
Let’s see... There's a gathering of Gembounds and strangely even though he just saw what he thought was his body frozen to death in ice was Tukluk amongst them. Phew... His encounter with him was thankfully was one of the better moments of his past, glad to see he's still around in spite of his claim he'd take Mosi on when he accidently mentioned about that incident, or his short lived worry on whether that ice sculpture was his real body. There's quite a few canines he doesn't believe he recognizes, and a few more felines too. There's two more: reptiles, one he recognizes from Fornax who doesn't seem to be in the best of moods, and another new one that he doesn't believe he knows.
Slowing his flight to a descent to land on the ground he hops on over to this crowd his scarf trailing behind him, Polaris does does have quite some nice decorations on them he doesn't know what to make of this really. Albeon raises one of his wings up somewhat directing it only at Tuck the one he's most familiar with in a way. Because Albeon's awkward like that... Like a loser that he is.
"Hey, Tuck." He calls out to him, although he's very unsure of what is going on here, his deep voice still sounds confident nonetheless.

Everything around him was moving at such a fast pace! Plants were blooming, snow was falling, and decorations were going up. It was almost too much for the red wolf to take in.
So he froze, watching a flurry of activity around him as he stared at Garmer trying to think of conversation topics for someone who couldn't actually talk. He couldn't ask about good hunting spots or talk about the strangely warm weather. He could talk about the party but that would be about as shallow as any conversation could possibly be. He'd have to think of something or the kyte would probably get uncomfortable really quickly being stared at.
Finally as his stomach rumbled once more he figured out something to break the silence. "It looks like there are a lot of us carnivores around." he spoke to the creature, as he began to turn away from the party. "I'm about to go down to the river and catch some food for everyone. Feel free to come along if you'd like, I'm sure you could be a great help."
With that he slowly walked away, ears perked and listening for any sign of prey on his pathway to the river.

The other Gembounds were beginning to disperse to hunt. Ghanyarah wanted very much to linger still and show off his magical prowess, but with the party's numbers steadily declining, he found his interest beginning to wane as well. He said that he would stay and protect the party goers, and he wouldn't necessarily be keeping his promise if he left now, but perhaps the komodo could still watch from... afar... for a little while before heading back to his swamp. He looked between the remaining Gembounds and wandered in an arc around them, casting his eyes out to the room that stretched beyond them now, eventually finding his way to a boulder and clambering atop. From there, he watched the party go on, content to have slid back into silent solitude after embarrassing himself so badly in front of everyone. Yeah. He could protect from here.
OOC NOTE: Feel free to begin exiting this thread! It's getting a little old, so let's wrap it up, folks! <3
Tuck was quite happy with the way party had gone, and the way it was going. Some left to go hunt, and he assumed they came back at some point and brought food. Others had made decorations. He smiled proudly at his own, feeling good about this whole thing. He was glad he’d come up with this idea and that others had somehow come along at exactly the right time. He hoped everyone had had fun and would continue to have fun for as long as they wanted to. But his own participation in this part was over. It was time to return home to Eridanus. Without saying much of a goodbye to anyone, he slipped away with Garmer, glad he could do something to make this unusually warm winter more festive.
