Cuan spat out some water. Where was this place? It was so dark, and it smelled different. Oh! She halfway remembered this smell. It smelled a bit like the place where she was born/hatched/came out of her chrysalis! But... It was darker than Cuanakrys remembered. Much darker than Cuanakrys remembered. "Hello?" Cuan said. "A bit of help here?"

Aceus was walking quietly in Cetus by the water enjoying the view. She was satisfied with the peace but still longed for some company, having only met one other creature since emerging from her chrysalis. Suddenly as if answering her wish for company she heard a voice, walking towards the water she saw a shape and a gem on the ground making her aware of another creature being stuck in the pond, "Oh my gosh, are you okay? Do you need some help?" She said frantically.

"Maybe." Cuanakrys said, trying to trudge out of the pond. She ultimately failed, and finally said "Yes. yes i need help." and whimpered a little.

Aceus giggles slightly at Cuan when she fails at getting out, "Here," She replies with a smile, and grabbing the wolf by the neck with her mouth. She pulls her out swiftly with little struggle.

Cuan was surprised, and said "oh.. Thanks! I washed out of the flooded tunnel H.. I was talking to someone and.." Cuan rambled a bit, before stopping, and saying "I must have bored you! My name is Cuanakrys, or Cuan for short. What's yours?"

In the midst of a nap, the lizard's senses were alerted to the presence of two females nearby - their voices lifted up through the usual silence of the swamp, briefly with worry and whimpering, suggesting that something might have been awry. Ghanyarah was slow to rouse, jerked immediately from sleep in the midst of a dream, but gradually pulled himself to his feet and followed the sound. He'd been busy scoping out Cetus, but stopped for a brief respite under a tree. Nearby, at the water's edge, he spotted the perpetrators: a young tiger cub and a red wolf, one he'd seen in Polaris before.

She looked muddy. The cub less so. "Are you alright?" Ghanyarah asked lamely as he waddled out of the brush, still blinking sleep from his eyes. It had never been in his nature before to aid strangers, but lately Ghanyarah had been stricken with a change of heart in light of his sudden companionship.

"I am ok. The young one helped me out of a pond. A very muddy pond." Cuan replied, gesturing to the tiger. Cuanakrys took in a few gulps of air; getting stuck in a pond takes a toll on one's body.

Ace was about to respond when the odd creature walked up to them, "I.. I'm Aceus.. Ace for short.. Wha... What are you?" For some reason the odd creature frightened her and she wanted to just curl in a ball behind Cuan.

"Don't be scared, Ace. I doubt they will hurt you." Cuanakrys said in as comforting of a voice as she could muster. Hopefully it would soothe the poor gembound.

Aceus puffed up her chest in response, trying to look brave. "What AREEEE they though? I have only met wolves.. What kind of creature are you?" She asked utterly confuzed.
