Kin-Kin saw her opponent lunge at her with outstretched jaws, and knew that they were going in for a bite. It wasn't hard to guess. In retaliation, Kin-Kin aimed to shove the flat edge of her sword into their mouth to stop them dead in their tracks, knowing that if she did the same with the pointy bit it'd surely kill them.

However, it'd take some skill, and she knew that if her reflexes were even slightly off, it could end with them careening into her with all the force of their attack. if she made it though, she'd have herself a huge advantage. Spurred on by these thoughts, the magnificently intelligent creature moved her body aside, keeping her blade angled towards the point she'd left, and at the same time trying to ram it into the other creature.

...If it seemed like a stretch, that's because it probably was. The wolf found herself tumbling back, head over heels, but at least she'd managed to avoid their attack.

Imperia That first defeat was a practice round
But I pulled myself off the ground
And I've already planned your demise

Imperia growled as he failed, but when he noticed the wolf tumble away, he snorted. "I don't know what the fuck you tried to do, but it clearly completely failed," he chuckled. He watched her for a moment, trying to think of something to do. He glanced over at where Aaliyah had been, watching the whole time, before turning back to the wolf.

"You know, I don't think I ever learned your name. I'm going to need a name to tell others who I beat! And you'll need a name to fear, a name that will make you shiver at just the mention of it." He grinned before walking over to her, so he was now face to face with the golden wolf. He lifted a paw, claws sharp and ready.

"And that name, the name that will make you cower, make you terrified," He lashed his paw, claws aiming for her cheek. "That name is Imperia. Pleased to make your enemy."

Kin-Kin's ears pricked to the sound of their voice, and her eyes narrowed as she was unable to retort. She saw the other lift their paw, and began to move her face, not only trying to swat the caracal's paw away, but trying to pierce their sensitive pawpad with her blade. But the blade had gotten so slippery, and her jaw felt like it needed to click.

Feeling their claws clattering against her defense, Kin-Kin felt that the time had come to finally be face to face. This had gone on long enough, and their fight was coming to an end. twisting around, Kin-Kin plunged the tip of her blade into the ground. Slowly, she raised her head, leaving the crystal muzzle sticking out of the ground and grinned at them, eyes narrowed with mischief. "I'd have thought you'd remember it from that competition... you know, the one I beat you in..." The wolf drawled, winking at them. Letting out a chiming laugh, she pretended to consider, leaning in so that they were directly nose to nose. "big words. Did you come up with them all by yourself?"

But it didn't seem like the gilded maiden was about to break that easily. "You can dream all you want, baby, but I ain't gonna be the one to shiver." She turned away; not quite turning her back, but turning enough to suggestively flash her ass, waving her plumed tail in their face.

Classy.

"Ah. I forget. Not in front of the kid, right?"

Imperia growled as his attack was blocked. When the wolf began to speak, he growled. When she brought their faces closer together, he narrowed his eyes. "Of course! Nobody else could come up with something like that," he snorted. His growl turned deeper as she spoke again, and stopped suddenly when she flashed her ass. He grunted and turned to Aaliyah.

"How kind of you to think of the kid. " He swatted at her tail. "Stop that. You don't need to so brazenly display your ass." He wasn't sure how to react to her showing him her ass. She was weird, that much was for sure. Perhaps he should show her his ass? See how she liked it.

"I suppose it's only fair for me to do the same, yes? See how you like having someone's ass in your face." He walked over toward the front of Kin-kin. "And who cares about the kid?" With that, he turned to suggestively flash his ass. His tail was too small to wave in her face, much to his annoyance. But at least he could still flash his ass at her.

"Listen to me."

Kn-Kin laughed as her opponent got steadily more riled up. "Oh, sure they could! I bet you can fly, too! " Kin-Kin snorted with laughter, even moreso as the caracal turned and shoved their own butt right up to her nose. It was increasingly clear that Kin-Kin couldn't care less, only taking pleasure in the fact that Imperia clearly wasn't happy about losing.

She new exactly the way to make it worse, as well...

With her teeth bared in an almost maniacal grin, Kin-Kin lurched forward, aiming to headbutt them right in the rump. This was the perfect opportunity for a last laugh before making an... extremely quick getaway. They'd stooped to her level, and now she was about to push them down a ditch. Careful does it...

boom!

"Enjoy your defeat, buttercup!" Kin-Kin jeered as she pranced away, as fast as her legs could carry her.

With his ass in her face, Imperia felt...almost proud. He had done exactly what she had done to him. He felt satisfied. This feeling, however, was short lived. Before long, she headbutted him in his ass and he let out a yelp. He quickly whirled around, eyes narrowed as he saw her prancing away.

"Honestly, was that necessary?" He watched her for a moment, tiny tail flicking. "Frankly, you're rather childish at times. I suppose that may be because you couldn't have been an adult for too long. You're not much older than me."

He continued to watch her. His paws itched to chase after her, but he suppressed the feeling. He had already stooped down to her level once, no way was he going to do that again. Especially not with the way that it had ended. After some time, his eyes strayed to the sword that she had left still sticking up in the air. He walked closer to it and examined it. It was long, and looked very sharp to the touch. Of course it was, he had gotten at least one scar from it. He glanced back toward Kin-kin before looking back to the sword. He lifted a paw and traced along one side with a pink claw.

"Listen to me."

Kin-Kin realized all too late that running was just a bit too easy. The weight on her foreleg was all gone, plunged into the mossy ground nearby, and she'd just passed it by. If she'd noticed early enough, the wolf could have snatched it as she'd passed by, but instead had to resort to skidding to a halt a few metres after she'd passed it. Kin-Kin turned back.

The caracal was already there, a paw reaching out for her sword... Kin-Kin's eyes narrowed slightly, and she slunk back towards Imperia. Simply stared at them for a moment, daring them to mention that she'd forgotten her sword. With that done, Kin-Kin placed her muzzle into the hold of the sword and yanked it back out of the ground. Stretching her leg out ahead of her, Kin-Kin slid the sword back into its hold in the crystalline tendrils. And then she simply walked away, allowing them to watch her plumed tail disappearing after her.

"Hey, what can I say? At least I ain't scared to let my tail down..." The wolf wondered if they'd appreciate her untimely departure. Well, they'd better enjoy it whilst it lasted... Kin-Kin knew that either she... or they... would be back eventually.

"SAnyway, as I was saying... Kin-Kin is out! Smell ya later!"

Imperia They'll call our crimes a work of art

Imperia saw Kin-kin out of the corner of their eyes as they touched the sword. When they were finished, they looked back at them, smirking. They didn't bother to say anything about her having forgotten the sword, instead taking a step back as she yanked it out and slid it into place on her leg. They sat down and watched as she left until she was out of sight. Hearing her last words, they snorted, but didn't say anything. Instead, they turned to Aaliyah, who had been watching all this with a confused expression.

They got up and padded over to her, eyes narrowed. "Come on. We are to never speak of this again, do you hear me?" They nudged her to her paws and walked in the opposite direction that Kin-kin had gone, not looking back, not even to make sure Aaliyah was following them.
