how come i've never seen your face round here?
i know every single face round here

The trek from Fornax to his starry home in Orion hadn't been a hard or particularly long one. With the aid of his night vision he was able to see fairly well where others would flounder about blindly. He had his emissary, His Muse, wrapped about his neck in a sort of embrace. Her touch was welcome, it wasn't often that he let others get so close to him and to sit with such honor upon his body but for her, the devoted youngling, he would. It was the only place his Messenger should sit, at least for now while she remained a smaller size.
Soon the tunnels opened up and he was able to behold the glory of the stars on the ceiling. His chest swelled with pride at these glowing lights above. He remembered dreaming about creating things like them prior to his first hatching into this world and so he knew that he must have made them, it was how he knew he was a god as well. The dreams --no--
memories he held prior to hatching, of being out on a mountain and watching the mortals below him. He remembered laying the stars across the night sky, of his fellows standing with him, and then of being brought out of this beautiful existence by hatching in the caves to find that his otherwordly powers were gone. He'd created the first stars and many more like them, these were just more of his creations and extensions of his power. He wondered if he would be forced into this vessel for an eternity or if he would ascend on high once his purpose here was complete. He wondered if when he was done with his mission would he see his sweet sister again... He could only hope... But for now he could not mope, he had to focus on cultivating what he had now. Like the sweet one that rode upon his neck and head.
"My Muse, we have arrived. Can you see the lights overhead? Can you see my legacy?" He still didn't know if the ruby-eyed girl was imbued with sight as he was in the dark, if not he would just have to educate her as best as he could on the glories of the stars.

"Talking looks like this!"
Thinking looks like this...
an empire falling in just one day
you close your eyes and the glory fades
ready aim fire away...
