As an added incentive, I'll give away some free art (like table/av sets...? flat colour character refs? whatever you want!) to whoever reviews all the chapters for the story as thanks for helping me out! Hi everyone! So if you've caught me in the cbox recently you'll probably know that I've been working on a story for the past while. It kind of completely consumed me for the past week lol ;_; I started it on Dec. 28 and worked on it nonstop (sometimes writing nearly 10k words a day) until I finished the first draft yesterday, Jan. 20, at 99.6k words. Of course that word count has changed now that I've gone in and revised some stuff, but still, there's some stats to make me feel proud :') So let me tell you about it!

The story is working off of the tentative title Wolfville and would be considered Urban Fantasy Fiction. In the riotous student town of Wolfville, Nova Scotia, freshman Timmory Cross is starting her first term at Acadia University. She dislikes people, she's fiercely independent, and she often escapes to the nearby Gaspereau Mountain for weekend hikes, but finds her life suddenly turned around after she is attacked and nearly killed by a savage wolf. Timmory wakes up in the care of strangers to find that she has been transformed and unwillingly thrust into a realm of werewolves. Surrounded by packmates all too eager to call her family, a best friend who needs to drag her to every party, and a cute boy that gets too close too quickly, Timmory must learn how to adjust to this new life while hunting, and being hunted by, the wolf that changed her in the first place.

(I know I can do for a better summary, I just needed something quick for you guys! Also yes, Wolfville is a real town with a real university in it. Perfect and ironic, right?!)

And I want you to read it!
I'm looking for beta readers for my story to look it over and give me feedback on it. Of course I'm incredibly proud of it, but I want it to be the absolute best it can be, and I can't do that without knowing what other people think of it first before I start releasing it publicly. I'll be handing it out chapter by chapter, and at the end of each chapter I've included a set of questions for you to answer (as well as a general opinion section). Anything that comes to mind as you're reading each chapter, I want to know! If you don't understand why one character does this, or another says that, or the significance of doing this, or if you think it doesn't make sense plot-wise, etc. If something resonates with you, or if you think it sounds weird, or if you have any suggestions on changing something, that's exactly why I'm giving it to you to read first!

But here's the thing. I don't really know what to rate it as - PG 13? It's got some gore and some sexy scenes. It's not smut, but its... pretty sexy. SO! If that makes you uncomfortable, you can avoid reading it. I would just skip giving you chapters containing those, but that would cause you to miss chunks of the story and might impair your feedback of it.

Also, I'm hoping for this not to take too terribly long - theres 19 chapters, and each chapter is between 3,000 and 7,000 words, which means they don't take that long to read. I'm going to send them out in waves because I want to make sure I've received all the feedback for a chapter first before moving on to the next one. So I'm looking to receive feedback within 1-2 days of sending the chapters out. I'm hoping that it's possible, but if it gets overwhelming for you, let me know and you can drop out or we can pause, I'm happy to adjust :)

Now to the good stuff! I'm looking for 5 readers right now, not including @Game Master CJ who I just signed up for this task because sorry CJ, you don't have a choice. It'll mostly be first come first serve, so if anybody drops out, the next person after the first five can pick up the chapters.
