A long time ago, a malicious creature toppled down into The Fern Trench, not unlike her long-legged lover had in a time before that moment. The big beast rolled and slid, skin lacerated by angry rocks and thick trees. Brush whipped and cracked beneath her weight all the way down, until with a heave she finally hit bottom. It was the bottom of the barrel in many ways, but those memories were gone, like static in the wind as the body fell unconscious. The gem inside went to work in an effort to self-preserve, triggered by the various injuries caused by a fall such an animal was sure to not handle with care. In time, the gem inside became a gem outside, encasing the multi-ton animal with bright red, standing out against green.

Time whipped passed. Untouched, the gem was soon overgrown and hidden, lost among the relentless growth of foliage. Inside, the life was very much alive. The life she experienced within was not of reality and it seemed to have many nightmarish outcomes... sometimes even for her. The mind plagued Gadanai, the blood-thirsty monster who slept in protection from the world as it changed, fell, arose, and became a shroud of darkness. Fear of revenge from her past enemies sometimes gnawed like a hungry rodent. By the time her gem and body and mind decided it was time to break free once more, what may be found inside could potentially be sketchier than what went inside in the first place...
