Tuck hadn’t given much thought to his hatred of Kin-Kin ever since he’d left her in Polaris. Garmer had distracted him as much as he could so the marmoset had eventually forgotten about it. In fact, he wasn’t think anything about her as he stepped through the tunnel in Orion. Most places in the Cave were pretty dark and required light spells in order to see anything at all. However, Orion had just enough glowing crystals and “stars” for it to be fairly easy to see in here. The stars were dull now, because most of their light came from the orbs that were usually on, but they had a bit of their own glow as well. Still, Orion was mostly a big shadowy place right now.

Garmer had flown off once they had reached the room of stars, and landed atop the Tower, looking down at everything below, though there wasn’t much to see. Tuck didn’t really know what he was doing here, other than that he still had that constant need to travel. Who knew? Maybe something exciting would happen!

"Speech looks like this."
"Thoughts looks like this."
This is Garmer.

Kin-Kin's light had once more returned to Orion, only this time she was mainly just passing through. She knew that whilst Polaris was the cave's heart, Orion was far more interesting... full of little alcoves to explore and central to a lot of other places, many of which she'd never visited since she was a pup. And especially, it was far darker here than it was in Polaris; just perfect to show off her glorious golden pelt. Yes, Orion would be blessed with her presence once more... heh, heh.

Her golden glow fell on the crumbled stone walls around her as she padded down the empty streets, nose lifted and nostrils twitching. Her mind, up until that point, had been dead set on finding something secret, a little place where she could hide her sword, her magic training and little things she happened to come across. And then a familiar scent tickled her nose, causing her to tense up as she sniffed. And then she looked around. That smell... all too familiar, and yet she knew that it wouldn't welcome her. And yet that made her want to seek out the source all the more. She sniffed the air once more, and set off, a grin tugging at her cheeks.
