Red Wolf Norvilion

All Welcome

MAGICKA LEVEL 100%
RESTORED TO 100%

A few weeks had passed since his initial spar with Amras, a magically inclined but freakishly light weight gryphon in Pisces. In that time the light magic that had been placed upon his face had faded away without him getting any closer to unlocking his own magic again. It was a puzzle that seemed to hold a greater interest for his now sparring partner than it ever had in his own life.

The large red wolf held one eye closed as he sat on a rock overlooking a broken dam teeming with strange life. With only his blind opal gem observing the world ahead of him Xireidi had to rely heavily on his keen hearing to detect potential approaching dangers. Sure, it wasn't exactly what the gryphon had recommended but it was the best he could do to stay safe.

'Go to another location in Polaris' the bird had said, 'One that you aren't as familiar with. Once there take some time to try to feel the flow of energy. Sense not with your eye but with your stone. If your magic is attuned to the mind perhaps you need to reduce the number of senses you use to discover the lost sense.'

It was a silly notion, and one that he was humoring more out of lack of any better ideas than anything. Still, the gryphon had a real edge on him in sparring matches being able to use magic and he seemed to be getting more skilled at it every time. Xireidi had to do something to keep up.

Ears twitched. There was a sound from below. Probably a golem wandering a bit far from the main group. With a swift motion the wolf leapt up and back into the air, landing perfectly on a higher ledge behind him without even opening his eye. The period of darkness might have been a pain, but at least it had given him some decent spatial awareness.
