Vianne walked through Eridanus, clicking her tongue at the sight before her. Plants, charred and turned to ash, surrounded the area. A fire had ravaged through here, and rather recently. This would simply not do. She had to do something to bring this place back to what it was before. She recalled casting her magic not long ago, and figured she could do that here. She'd start by emerging some seeds and take it from there. There had to be a couple of seeds somewhere around here...

It took a bit of searching, but she eventually found a few that hadn't been burnt. She breathed a sigh of relief. She could work with this, and take it from there. She lowered her head and hovered above the seeds, attempting to draw magic from her stone. It took some coaxing, but eventually, the seeds began to sprout and grow into small plants. She smiled and drew back. So that was done. There was still a lot of work to do, however!

Been a while since she remerged again from hibernation of sorts, maybe why it took so long was Pulse believing that it'd be better if her presence weren't around for others to tolerate. Agh... No stop thinking like that, you've made a friend before two in fact.

You can do this.

She does wonder what happened here though, a large part of Eridanus had been incinerated, looking more like some plant shaped vantablack than well green plants. Which is why she managed to get out her tree for once, she needs to find some fruit that's not burned. At least her red hooded cloak doesn't seem to have any burn marks on it.

O-Oh! There's someone else! But they seem busy... Wouldn't want to intrude on them and irritate them. Maybe land somewhere from a distance and wait for them finish with what they're working on then try and make conversation, or better wait for them to notice the sugar glider and see if they want to start the chat. Yes yes, good idea...

With that, she lands by a tree trunk not too far from the other Gembound, but not too close either where she'd be a distraction from their work, her hood down so it'll be easier to see her.

With the few plants grown into their juvenile stage, it was time for the next part. She had to grow them further, and then she'd move on. She didn't notice the sugar glider that had landed nearby, for she was so focused on the plants and making them grow. She repeated the stance she was in previously, nose hovering over it as she prepared to cast her magic.

But this time, no matter how hard she tried, it didn't work. She let out a huff as she sat back, and it was then that she noticed the visitor. Her expression was one of surprise for a split second before it turned back to how it normally is. She smiled lightly, head tilted slightly. "Hello," she murmured softly. "I didn't see you there."

While the other was preoccupied she walked around on her spot just a little to find some fruit, she doubts she'll find any here though for seeing how from closer inspection the other is trying to revive the plants decimated here. The destruction was prominent here; it gives her mind something to do though while waiting and not look too desperate to the other if they do see Pulse.

She still watches from the corner of her eye though, not wanting to look too busy herself. Pulse started to pay more attention to them when they seemed to be taking a break or something, though they appeared disappointed about something. Didn't work perhaps? But that was drawn away from her she realised that the other saw her, at last, seemed surprised at seeing her now. Here we go... A potential friend or someone who wants her to leave now?

Pulse relaxed just a bit when they smiled at her; she smiled back sheepishly giving a small wave with one of her paws, shifting just a bit to move her hooded cloak a bit.

"O-Oh! Hi to you as well.", Come on, don't be weird. "I-I was going to say 'hi', but you seemed a bit busy here." Smoooooth Pulse, real smooth.

Vianne continued to smile softly. "Yes, well. As I'm sure you've noticed, this place has been...well, there's hardly any green. I'm attempting to replenish some of it but..." She turned to look at the small plants. "I'm afraid it's not working too well. But it is a start!" She looked back to the small creature.

"Excuse me for one moment; I'm going to try this spell again." She focused once more on the plants, willing for one to grow. She had to do something to replenish the life here! It would surely replenish itself with time, but she may as well help it along. This time, it happened almost immediately. The plant began to grow, and small flowers began to pop up. She sat back, smile slightly bigger now. "There we go. That's much better." She turned her attention back to the sugar glider. "Oh, where are my manners? I'm Vianne. What's your name?" All this talking was getting to her. She wasn't used to speaking so much, but she supposed it was worth it. She hadn't had a proper conversation with anyone in a while.

Well, they don't seem to mind her odd behaviour, just remain calm if they didn't want you here then they would say so.

"Yeah... Don't know how the fire started.", Approaching them a bit closer, Pulse is surprised she survived the fire from how bad it looks in here, the only way she can guess how she survived it is besides being in the chrysalis is the fact that her home is a very tall tree it's tough to reach the top. Her home is fitting for a Gembound like her when she wants her space without bothering anyone.

She takes a look at the plants the other has just revived most likely with Magick looking rather young plants mostly just seeing the stem, not looking like fruit, not that she'd take it even if it were fruit. They're working so hard, and it'd be so unwarranted and rude of her to just ruin it like that.

"A start is nice. K-Keep at it you'll do good!", she tries her best to give the other encouragement, they may not need it, but it wouldn't hurt, right? She nods a little in response to their wishes to want to give their spell another attempt and takes a few steps back to make sure she's not getting in the way and watches silently, and observes with bright fascination in her eyes as the young plant grows into tiny but pretty flowers. She smiles more herself, looking more like a genuine smile than an awkward one, giving some more nods to agree with them, the flowers were pretty.

"Hello, Vianne. I'm Pulse", She manages to control her speaking not to stutter this time, helps that her words were short and sweet as she too was quite a quiet one. Still, she was glad actually to be speaking to someone; she's been lonely even.

Vianne hummed. "Probably someone using fire magic gone wrong. But who knows? I'm just glad the fire's out, at least. Now I've just got to help replenish things..." She looked down at her work, still smiling. "Eventually, sure. I'd like to become a master as magic but, ah, that may take a while," she chuckled lightly. " Oh well. I'll get there one day." She turned back to the sugar glider - Pulse.

"Well, Pulse. Are you hungry? I'm not really sure what you eat, but...do you like fruit? I can try and get this plant to produce some fruit. One of these seeds has to be something that can produce fruit...I can only hope that I'll get it to grow that long." She wouldn't try just yet, instead seeing what Pulse would say. Plus, she was getting slightly tired, and wanted to give herself some time to recover before she cast another spell.

Pulse never thought of that, not the best of ideas to use fire in a place filled with greens everywhere she'd like to help on reviving the plants herself but... She doesn't know how electric based Magick is going to help plants grow.

"Yeah, it is possible," She has encountered someone who seemed to have a mastery of Magick - Albeon or at least from what she perceives anyway. But she continues to try and be encouraging nonetheless. "I'd like to improve my Magick, but... electric magic is... unpredictable" very unpredictable, more unpredictable than she is. She looks to them as well, not exactly giving full eye contact though; she hopes that doesn't bother Vianne.

"A-Ah. Well yes... a little. I do like fruit. I don't mind the size. Thank you, Vianne.", She likes her fruit yes, definitely sweet ones, those are the best. But she wouldn't want to be an inconvenient burden to them by being picky even if they did offer her the fruit.

Vianne chuckled. "Alright, well. I'll try to get some fruit, but no guarantees it'll happen." She turned to one of the plants and began to focus on it. She was starting to get a headache, but she ignored it. She'd take a proper rest after this. She just had to get some fruit for Pulse first!

However, it seemed her headache prevented her from being able to focus properly, and nothing happened. She sighed and rose again, facing Pulse. "I'm terribly sorry, but it appears my magic simply wishes to not work at this moment. I can try again later, if you'd like." She felt a stab of guilt at not being able to do what she'd said she would do, but she ignored it. Her magic didn't always work, and that was that.

Pulse couldn't help but smile brightly at this, she may feel awkward about accepting food from someone new but she nonetheless can't resist fruit. Pulse nods, trying her best not to get her hopes up too much, not wanting to pressure Vianne now. It was an offer, no need to be demanding.

"Oh no... It's OK and later will be fine." she felt a little disappointed but she can live with it, her search for fruit earlier was more so she knows where she can find some later after all.

"Take a break maybe?" it could help with Vianne's quest as well after all to revive things.
