It's booming steps were hidden behind the even louder crash of the falls, but the creature stalked out from its hiding place without any semblance of fear. It was large; able to duck its head beneath the tumbling water and not be decapitated by the force of it. It moved with deliberate effort and came away from the falls with a soaking face, its many horns shining as if it had just survived a monsoon. The creature's hide - and indeed, those massive horns - were saturated by the water. Made luminous.
And there was something there, wedged between the horns cresting its broad back - likely a pebble cast aside by the vicious water of Pisces. The beast did not notice this, and moved on towards the ponds - slow, steady, but eager to slake its thirst.
This thread is optional - but open to everyone!
You may come away from this event with something special.
Keep in mind this creature is gargantuan, so a battle would be unwise.

Had he ever even been to Pisces? Othello couldn't remember, but as he found himself entering the watery room, he almost immediately noticed a change in the sound. What was just a second ago the sound of water crashing onto the floors was now interrupted by a new sound, as if something were passing through it. Othello paused, looking for the sound, but missed it until the absolutely giant beast was out of the waterfall entirely. Even from where he was standing across the room, he could tell how luminous the beast was. His eyes nearly sparkled.
Othello almost couldn't walk any faster towards the thing he probablg shouldn't be walking towards, but it was so shiny, and upon closer inspection, he noticed something lodged between the spines on the beasts back. It seemed oblivious to the presence of the stone lodged there and he wondered if it'd miss it. He stood many feet away for safety in case the beast charged, but he was by no means out of sight. He tried to tell the beast he had something stuck, but something felt off. Maybe he was too far away...

The creature moves towards the ponds without relent, and although it does not make many steps it is swiftly upon the bank. Once there, it dips its head and begins to guzzle water until the point it is satiated. When its head lifts again, the beast shakes and makes the ground shudder; it moves like a dog trying to dry off, perhaps aware of an irritant upon its back. The object is jarred loose and falls in to a small puddle, and the creature moves on. One of it's steps is directly atop the fallen chunk of stone and with enough force it has been driven in to the bank.
The creature moves on - ignorant to the seed it has managed to sow.

Othello watched as it took like what, three steps and made it to the ponds! Jealous! Othello was long, but dang could he wish he could take that big of steps! It hadn't seemed to notice him, which he wasn't sure was a good thing or not.
For a moment it guzzled water as if it were to drain the pond dry, but it stopped finally and decided to shake as if it were a dog. A massive dog. A dog that rattles the caves when it shakes. If he wasn't already so low to the ground, he would have lowered for safety, but instead his mutation made him rather vertically challenged, unlike before.
However, he did see something fly off the beasts back and into a puddle, making his eyes twinkle with delight. The beast turned away and began to walk, seemingly unaware it had shaken loose its little attachment. Othello scurried over once the beast moved away some and sniffed at it before looking at the beast and tried communicating with it again. It was a mighty big beast, and he didn't want to take it just to be trampled!
"Hey!... dropped...something!"

Hearing something behind it, the creature lurches to a stop. It turns its head and shoulders, shifts so that it may look around without fully committing. When it sees the lowly form of Othello trying to garner it's attention, the creature seems disinterested. It moves on without hesitation.
The creature has departed!
Othello has discovered a chunk of rhodolite; it looks like it has been cleaved from another segment, but what lays embedded within the puddle can probably be retrieved. It is somewhat transparent from what you can tell - and it's pink-red surface is cracked from the pressure of being stepped on.

Although the beast turned and looked at him, it seemed to disregard him and leave, disappearing. Othello could care less really - it abandoned this pretty red-pink stone buried in the dirt. Frantically, Othello began digging and working at the dirt and water around the stone, eager to work the rhodolite free and scurry back to his home in Monoceros.
In a matter of minutes, he worked the stone out of the dirt and studied it's cracked surface in his paw-like hands as he sat back on his rear end, his tail supporting and balancing him to sit upright. His eyes sparkled with joy at the find and with a quick glance around the room, pushed the stone between his jaws, and began his exit towards home.
