MAGICKA LEVEL 89%
RESTORED TO 100%
Azar
It's a new world
It's a new start
And it's alive with the beating of a young heart
Azar was determined by this point, his tail flickering nervously as he faced the dim wall he stood behind. He was perfectly sure that he was capable of doing magic, he'd felt it in his heart for a long time, but had never actually tried and was intrigued at what the result would be. His small heart pounded, because he knew he was young and inexperienced and that fact scared him. He squeezed his eyes tightly shut, his voice a whisper as he mumbled a few words of comfort to himself. He wanted to use magic to help others, but he was pretty certain his element caused nothing but destruction. Irony at its best. Azar sighed deeply, prepared himself, and performed the spell.

MAGICKA LEVEL 100%
RESTORED TO 100%
Gradually, navigating the caves became easier. Kera learned to rely on scent and sound instead of sight-- at least until things were light again. Her paws had taken her to a new place away from the place-with-stars and place-with-angry-goose. This place smelled different from the others; where Orion had been unpleasant and dusty, Kera could tell there was fresh water running through this room. She could hear the gentle splashing of water on rock, too.
She couldn't tell where it was, however. Just that it was there. She followed the wall quietly, nails clicking rhythmically against the cave floor, until a new scent hit her nose. Opening her mouth, she could almost taste it, the smell of warmth and fur-- something not unlike herself, even. It did seem to be a little warmer than herself, however.
She paced forwards until she saw it-- a thing very similar to her. It had fur and legs and a tail. With her own tail wagging behind her, she approached. "Hello!" She called out excitedly, tongue lolling out as she absent-mindedly left her mouth open between words. "What are you doing here? I'm Kera. I'm gonna turn the lights back on."

MAGICKA LEVEL 100%
RESTORED TO 100%
There was a split second where Kera began to think, perhaps, this creature would be like the ones before it. The big-cat who was a little snappy and probably responsible for turning the lights out in the first place was unpleasant, and even moreso the goose that kept showing her it's teeth, but this one was friendly. This one looked happy and was wagging its tail, and Kera was wagging her tail.
This was a very, very welcomed change. A happy whine escaped Kera's throat as she paced over, ears perked high. "A fox. I'm a wolf. Hello. What kind of magic can you do?" She asked, which was shortly answered by the fox gesturing towards the smouldering pile. The pup moved over, sniffing it cautiously. "Oh, it smells."
She sat down, shifting around to get herself comfortable. "In my-- no, no! You're not in my way. Hello. I like your fur, too-- it's colours. I think. Mine is white and you can touch it if you'd like. There's a lot of it," she said, as if the fox were somehow unaware of how much fur she had. There was a lot of excitement to be had here, now, especially as he called her brave. "I'm very brave! I'm going to help everyone, you see? I have to start with the lights, first."
She took a moment to bristle proudly while speaking of her life purpose, kneading the ground with her paws, ear flicking briefly. "The lights-- they're these bright things, I think. It makes it so everyone can see everything around them. I saw one, once, and it was very nice and very yellow. They're gone, now, I think a big cat put them out for some reason, but I'm gonna fix them, and if they go out again, I'll fix them again. Everyone deserves light."
She offered a dog-like grin, tongue still lolled out as she lifted a burly paw to her face, itching her ear. "Do you like magic? I've not done much of it. I can make these little bad-smelling things, do you want to see? Can I see you do more magic?"

MAGICKA LEVEL 100%
RESTORED TO 100%
((hope it's still okay to post, asked in discord before first reply. If rather keep to duo thread feel free to ignore and I can make a different thread :) ))
SQUEAK!
The vocalization echoed out loud in the stormy room, emitted from a little creature no larger than a housecat. Its appearance was bizarre- smooth gray skin, giant webbed wings, four webbed feet, and feathers all along its neck leading up to a head that could only be described as what one might expect of a crane-cat-unicorn.
Its little ears twitched and in a single series of bounds it went hurtling up a series of rocks until it was far enough off the ground to hurl itself off the edge and spread its wings to glide gently back to the ground, letting out a gleeful yipping laugh the entire time.
SQUEAK! He happily vocalized again, a noise that didn't sound like it should belong to any land dwelling being.
"Oh? Small creatures? New friends!" another voice called out from the vocally eclectic creature, his tone like that of an excited child.
The amalgam picked up speed again and rushed straight toward the gathering of canids. "Hey, hey!" he called to them excitedly "You don't seem like big adults that would want to take us away! Are you new friends?"
