Blackberry smirked as her teeth sunk into flesh and blood welled up, filling her back with its tangy, warm taste. That would show the little mutt who was boss. She was ready for the dog to lash back, but wasn't quite prepared for the frenzy she had sent the dog into.

Blackberry honked loudly as teeth and claws dug into her tender flesh and ripped out feathers, setting scourge marks all over her body. Her anger was so great that she couldn't stop noises from coming out of her throat. She kept up her loud noises as she snapped back and pummeled at the wolf with her wings.

Kera found herself moving based on instinct alone, and she would have been impressed by those primal actions puppetting her like a marionette, if she were even aware of it. The taste of her own blood and goose blood mixing within her own mouth clouded her thoughts and sent her craving more.

Her bumbling frame somehow managed to avoid Blackberry's wings as they came batting for her. With her lip curled over her teeth, growling, she moved forward and moved to clamp her jaws quite dangerously around the goose's neck, snarling and biting down hard until she could taste the coppery blood in her mouth once more.

As the wolf bite down on her neck, a primal instinct surged in Blackberry and she tore herself away from the dog, feeling a few feathers rip away too. However, she managed to avoid too bad an injury to her throat. After a second to catch her breath, she spread her wings and leaped into the air, trying to get above the dog as best she could. She then dived down, her wings flapped hard and her teeth snapped at her face.

The taste of the blood in her mouth was more than intoxicating, even after she was shoved away. While Blackberry took a moment to catch her breath, Kera was more concerned with licking her jowls, hungrily searching for each drop of blood that stained her white coat.

She realised, since hatching, she had not eaten. She was hungry.

As the goose took off into the air, Kera found herself scrambling out of the way of a dive-bombing bird, nails scratching against the floor. Within the darkness, the scent of blood and adrenline was the only thing that could direct her back to the goose.

Following it, she proceeded to toss her burly little body right onto the goose's back as she landed, letting out a half-squeak, half-bellow as she went, flailing in the air.

After missing the wolf, Blackberry whipped around and just caught a glimpse of white fur flying her way. She had just enough time to flutter out of the way before the wolf crashed down where she had just been standing. She didn't hesitate before going for the attack again, teeth ready to bite down and wings beating furiously.

Crashing onto the ground hurt, but what hurt even more was the goose landing on top of her within seconds. The fall had knocked some of the senses back into Kera’s head and though she was hungry, and the taste of blood in her mouth wasn’t helping, she was beginning to rationalise the situation.

Granted, this was a difficult thing to do when a bird is on top of you with its beak firmly clamped around your flank and it’s wings bartering tour limbs mercilessly. If Kera was going to stop, she’d only do it when her opponent did. She refused to lose.

Twisting around with another loud, throaty snarl, the wolf sent pinprick claws for the goose again, having to bend her entire burly body to reach while Blackberry was on top of her, kicking her legs furiously to try and knock her off.

Blackberry knew she had a good position. Being on top of the wolf with her teeth clamped down on the dog's flank and with every inch of it open for her wings to beat and bruise was to her advantage. And watching the dog miss with its claws was extremely satisfying. They couldn't get her from here. However, she knew it wasn't going to last for long and the dog was going to figure out how to get at her. She wasn't interested in waiting for that moment.

She twisted her head as she let go, tearing out a clump of the dog's fur before leaping off its back. Without a moment of hesitation, she launched herself again, this time aiming for the legs to try and cripple the wolf.

Kera twisted around more as the goose started moving forward again, breathing heavily. She made an attempt to move out the way, though one leg was caught under the goose and she heard a low crunch as it broke under the weight.

She howled in pain, all reason lost once more as she lunged forward unevenly, her leg limp and unresponsive as she sent thrashing teeth for the goose again, muzzle wrinkled as she growled and barked visciously at Blackberry.

Regardless of hitting or not, Kera knew in the back of her mind that she wouldn't be able to keep fighting with the state of her leg. She allowed to give herself into rage and frustration for now, and would worry about escaping later, least she gets herself killed trying to stand and fight.

Her jaws certainly found something, something solid and hard. She bit down and heard a second gentle crunch as some of her teeth crumbled under the rock in her jaws. She spat it out, along with some shards of broken teeth.

... It was fine. Maybe the goose wouldn't notice. Even if she did, it was clearly an intentional move and Kera sacrificed her teeth in an esoteric show of dominance.

Blackberry fluttered back, surprised with the force she had crashed down with onto the wolf's leg. However, this surprise was not remorse. Instead, she quite liked the feeling of bone crunching underneath her weight, the sound of the howl of pain as the dog leaped back, its leg a mangled mess. She liked knowing that she had beaten it, that she had Wong this fight.

She backed away from the rampaging dog and burst out laughing as she crushed the rock in her mouth, shattering her teeth. "And I thought you couldn't get more stupid. Get out of here, you ridiculous mutt and if I ever see your face again I'll rip every hair out of your ugly hide." She hissed at the dog, but didn't advance. She had sustained enough injuries in this fight and she didn't know how much she could take if the dog wanted to attack her again. On the other hand, the pup had a broken limb and there wasn't a point in giving chase; they would probably run anyways. So, instead, she sat back down on the flat rock she had been resting at and eyed the wolf expectantly.
