It was how she managed to do it anyway, after all, Zeno told her the Gem is what lets Gembound use Magick, so she thought she'll need to pay particular attention to her target and her Gem. Which many Gembound can do in lots of different ways she believes, although it might be easier for her to focus on her Gem in comparison to others since her's is on the chest especially when she took a deep breath as Oliver suggested.

Pippy herself while seeming to be proud of the fact that she can grow plants, doesn't think her abilities in Magick are impressive. She thinks Oliver appears to do better in Magick than she does, although Pippy does realise the tiny bat must have done an excellent job here with how Oliver is looking at the plant she helped grow.

Pippy backed away a little to let Oliver inspect the plant themselves, smiling back she was glad how gentle they were to check the foliage too, after all, she doesn't want her work ruined, so she's grateful for that also.

"Y-Yeah something like that like, I relax all muscles but have some a l-little tightened around where the Gem is. M-Maybe also think that you wish your Spell to be something like I was hoping in my head a plant would grow," maybe that's how she managed to bring colour to that rock back because she hoped she could do it?

"O-Oh no, thank you, Oliver! You're so sweet!" Being told that her Spell is fantastic left her a little shy it couldn't be that good, could it?

"Oh yes please Oliver! Although if you do could you help bring it to my den? I don't know if I can carry two." carrying one will be enough for her small body to handle even if her den is relatively near.

Oliver listened closely, noting down--mentally, of course--everything that Pippy said. Relax, tighten muscles around the Gem, and wish for what the spell would do. Thinking on it, he supposed that wasn't too different from what he did, himself.

He'd have to try this, to go somewhere with plants and to practice! How lovely it would be to be able to grow things for others!

Now--Pippy was asking him for something more. Her den? Sure, he could do that.

"I--of course I can," he whispered softly. "Where is it? Do you want to just--climb up and ride on me, and hold it, or should I hold it for you?"

Pippy just essentially told Oliver out of improv on how he made the plant grow, he more or less just said to them what came to his head when trying his Spell, but still, he hopes that'll work for Oliver if it works for him that way it may work for Oliver too. He sure hopes Oliver will be able to grow plants this way if not then Pippy will have let them down in his mind.

He feels bad for asking for more, but Oliver says they're okay with helping Pippy reach his den with these light rocks.

"Oh thank you, Oliver. It's really near actually I-I d-dashed back to it w-when I saw you near it, it got me s-scared on why something b-big was by the den..." he felt ashamed to be admitting this, hopefully, Oliver won't be offended of being viewed as 'big' to Pippy. Pippy did consider his choices though when Oliver asked if he wanted a ride back or just let them carry the light-rocks to his den. Considering with things being brighter to be able actually to see what's in front of Pippy it may be nice to climb up and let Oliver take him there, that way he can see the world in a different view and he won't have to feel jarringly puny for a little.

"I-Is it OK if I can catch a ride please Oliver?" Oliver did offer if that's what Pippy wants to do, but he still asked with some hesitance.

Oliver moved closer, and gently and carefully lowered himself down beside Pippy. He lay down on his chest and belly beside her, and lowered his wings carefully across the stone, so that the feathers spread as a sort of ramp that she could climb.

"Tell me when you're all the way on," he murmured softly. "And then--which way to go? Please. I'll try to move carefully but--let me know if you're gonna fall, okay?"

He glanced down at Pippy kindly, holding as still as he could. He wasn't sure how far away the bat lived, or if it would be a dangerous route, but he hoped it would be safe enough. He didn't want to get the tiny creature harmed, after all.

"I'm sorry I scared you," he added gently, glancing at the bat with a slow and wide-eyed blink. He hadn't meant to, and he felt sorry for doing so. Maybe carrying her home would help to make up for it?

Pippy backed away slowly to give the massive dog-bird more space to lay down before Pippy then approaching them closer again afterwards when Oliver has wholly lain on the stone floor waiting for them to tell her when to hop on, but first, she goes to pick up the light-rock that Oliver has gifted her carefully.

Slowly she goes climbing on the wing that Oliver has lowered on the ground to Pippy's level while having an incline up to their back. While it wasn't a steep climb up since Pippy was trying to carry her light-rock up too, she almost tripped and rolled down, but she managed to avert that and keep her balance and soon she eventually climbed successfully onto Oliver's back and moved over where she was just a little behind their head.

"OK, I'm ready Oliver... And first go straight forward first, and mayyybbe turn left a little, keep an eye out for a really small hole on the wall to your left that's my den," That's really the best she can describe for now since while there is a little light here it was still a little dim around her den to be able to memorise how everything looks to be able to explain in detail to others of directions "Sorry if that's not helpful... But sure I'll let you know if I'm going to fall. Thank you." She'll be sure to alert Oliver of that, same as if the light rock-falls too. Hopefully, the journey back won't be dangerous if it were she would've never chosen the den she has now.

"O-Oh i-it's OK! You're a nice big Gembound!" She tries to reassure Oliver when they apologised to her, patting the bird-dog's head with her wings affectionately to show that it's OK while displaying her gratitude to them for wanting to help her.

Oliver at first waited until Pippy had climbed up and was securely in his fur, before looking slowly around.

"Thank you; you're nice, too," he said gently in answer to Pippy's compliment. Pippy seemed nice, he thought again.

Slowly, carefully, he began to make his way forward, cautious to keep his back even so as not to drop the tiny bat, or dislodge her. He lifted his own glow-stone in one taloned hand--the smaller rock that he always kept with him--and began to make his way slowly forward, peering along the wall in the darkness.

Every now and then he lifted the rock to light the way, and peered for a tiny hole in the stone.

Perhaps it was too small--or too dark; or maybe he wasn't there yet, but Oliver had some trouble finding it. At length he paused, and spoke again, softly.

"Is it close? I can't see it yet," he said.

Pippy managed to keep a good grip on Oliver's fur when they started to look around while avoiding to grip it too tightly out of fear he'd accidentally hurt them from doing that.

When Oliver mentioned Pippy himself being nice as well, he got a little shy when told that, covering his face with his wing a little; surely Pippy couldn't be that nice could he to Oliver? After all, he hasn't done much for them except cowering and asking things from them, if anything Oliver is the nice one here.

Pippy's grip on Oliver's coat tightened a little when they started to move, but he quickly loosened a little afterwards muttering some apologies to them; he hoped he didn't hurt them there. Pippy is sure to keep an eye out for his den too prepared to alert Oliver if he can see it himself and point to it with his wing.

He could look down, but the realisation on just how high up he is right now and potentially fall from that height would probably make him freak out besides he wants to feel tall for once but Pippy looks forward and scans the wall in search of his den to perhaps help Oliver.

O-Oh! There it is! When Oliver asked him where it was, he excitedly points his wing to the spot where he can see the hole in the wall, and since Pippy is behind their ears, Oliver may be able to see where he is pointing.

"There a little further. I can see it!" He tries his best not to yell no need for him to raise his voice when he's right by Oliver's ears after all.

Oliver turned, and smiled a little, carefully making his way through the bluish dark toward the shadows that the bat was calling out toward.

He paced forward, slow and cautious as before, until he could see it--the tiny hole in the rock--and stood up next to it. It struck him that the hole was so small that he'd be afraid of it being blocked, were it his den--of being stuck inside, and the bat perhaps too small to break its way out.

"If I ever come through again I'll--check on you, okay?" he said softly. "And if you have other friends you should--ask them, too, it's always a good thing to have people to make sure you're okay."

He didn't mention his worry that the bat might be trapped--no need to scare Pippy unnecessarily, after all.

"And I guess--we part ways here? Or is there anything else I can do while I'm here?" he added questioningly, in his gentle whisper, peering back at Pippy.

Perhaps the bat might like another glow-rock, here--though now surely she could do it herself?--or something more that he might be able to aid with, before he moved on in his quest to add lights back to the caves.

It was so exciting to be able to return to Pippy's den with a bright, pretty light-rock for it so her new home will be less scary to live in! Now it'll feel a little homier for her liking!

When Oliver managed to stand still right next to the entrance of her own den, she took the initiative by picking up the light-rock gifted to her by Oliver and placing it on her back and slowly goes to crawl inside the hole of her den. Pippy herself really should consider something like that though especially since the Kyte that attacked her mainly almost got her because it had her cornered and trapped in her previous den. All she could do was huddle in the complete back of the shelter until Equinox managed to get it, sadly Pippy still has yet to consider that factor. She goes a little to the end of her den to put down the light-rock and then goes to the hole again to peek her head out of it to chat with Oliver more.

"O-Oh thank you, Oliver. I'll love the company," This further showed to Pippy that Oliver is such a sweet big Gembound. "And OK I will, and yeah... You're right there; it is a good thing to have friends like that..." She's sure she could try and find Zeno sometime as well to be sure.

Pippy's ears droop just little when Oliver says they may be part ways, aww well... Since Oliver said they'd check on her occasionally most likely means this won't be the last time they see each other which makes Pippy feel a little better but when asked if she wants anything else which she considers and then remembering something Pippy has wanted for a bit ever since she got attacked by a glowing-flying-thing.

"Actually... There is something Oliver. Could I... Have a hug if you can please?" Perhaps she has asked too much from Oliver at this point, but this is the one thing that'll lighten up her day more so than the light-rock Oliver has gifted her if they can do this for her.

Oliver listened, and watched the bat crawl into the den with a slightly concerned expression.

"Be careful that rats aren't drawn to the light," he gently warned. "They might bite you, or hurt you. It might be best to make sure it can't be seen from outside."

He slowly sat down, feathered arms tucked against his body, and tilted his head, eyeing Pippy over.

She wanted a hug. But she was so tiny? How was he meant to do that, without harming her?

"I can--try? It might be hard because you're very small and I'm bigger, but I can try?"

He was hesitant, worried, but indeed willing to give it a shot, at least.
