Blackberry smiled coldly at the moose. She made a good decision in letting him follow her. He was so devoted, so willing to do as she commanded. It felt good to have a follower. And it also felt good knowing that she didn't have to bully him to have her way. He was so submissive. "You will be strong, huh? Can you fight? Have you ever been in an aggressive situation before? Can you defend yourself?"

She doubted it. They were young when they had hobbled towards her in that cave and they were still young, though, she guessed, not much younger then her. But she was different. She had sought out fights. Moose was much too kind and gentle to be like her. But she had to make sure he was ready to fight. If he was going to help, then there would be fighting, surely.

Blueberry gave Miss Blackberry an ashamed look.

"No Miss. I only know you, and some crazy hyena." He told her, pawing nervously at the ground. He looked at her once more, an idea hatching in his mind.

"C-could you teach me Miss Blackberry?" He asked, his voice hopeful and eager. Berry aimed to please, and he needed to be strong to please Miss Blackberry in fights.

Blackberry nodded. She hadn't expected Moose to have any training. Looks like she'd have to teach her. She thought that it might be a bit difficult - they were so different. He didn't have wings or a strong beak and she didn't have hooves or four legs. But she's train him nonetheless.

"Alright. Best way to learn is to experience. We'll start off with what you can figure out by yourself. Attack me!" She got in a defensive stance and prepared for Moose's attack.

Blueberry nodded and concentrated on trying to make some vines appear to bind his friend down. It wasn't necessarily an attack, but it worked nonetheless. vines sprouted quickly at Miss Blackberry's feet. He wanted then to bind her, but it didn't work. Maybe he couldn't do that yet. Upset him himself, Blueberry stomped his hoof.

"Sorry Miss." He apologized. But he was still determined to learn. He would be Miss Blackberry's protector after all.

Blackberry looked down as the vines sprouted. But nothing else. He had a lot to learn. She didn't hesitate after that. She leaped forward, her good wing fluttering as she aimed to body slam him head on. "If you mess up, put up your guard and don't give the enemy a single moment."

Blueberry felt Miss slam into him lightly, sending him back a couple hoof steps. He let out a small 'oof' before taking her advice. Planting his hooves firmly on the ground, he lowered his head so that his sprouting antlers were aimed at Miss Blackberry's good side.

"Understood Miss."

Blackberry smirked as Moose barreled into her, his antlers poking into her feathers. Once those were grown and he used force, that attack could be deadly. "Yes, use your strengths unique to you!" She reeled back before lunging forward with her good wing right at his shoulder. "In battle there is no fair. Cripple your enemy if you can."

Miss Blackberry congratulated him, and Blue smiled. He felt her try to make him stagger by charging into his shoulder, but honestly it just kinda tickled. Giggling to himself quietly, Berry lightly kicked his hoof at Miss Blackberry's good side. He didn't want to hurt her any more than she already way.

Blackberry hissed lowly when she missed, a feeling of anger boiling in her stomach. But she forced it down. She had to remind herself that they were still training. Moose's hoof slammed into her side and, even with the light attack, it was still a move with lots of potential. She was happy that he was on her side. Before the Moose could retract his leg, she struck out her beak to snap at his leg, but not hard enough to break skin.

Berry felt accomplished when he his Miss Blackberry. He smiled to himself before focusing on the task at hand. Miss Blackberry had successfully snapped her beak on his leg, and although it was light, he still felt her give him a small scratch. It wouldn't do him any real harm, but it still stung a little.

Blueberry jerked his leg back, hoping to free himself from her grasp.
