Blackberry relaxed her grip when she felt Moose pull away. "Yes. When an enemy has a hold on you, your first objective is to get away." Before Moose could move away, she brought her good wing down, aiming again for his shoulder in a mock crippling move.

Nodding, Blueberry moved back a step on Miss Blackberry's impact. She almost missed, but she got him anyway. Blueberry moved in for another attack, his head lowered again to use his antlers.

Moose was a good learner. Blackberry found satisfaction in teaching the young Moose to fight. As he charges towards her again, she decided to change it up. As he came close, she prepared to swing herself out of the way and clout him on the head as he passed.

Frustrated with himself for allowing Miss Blackberry to dodge his charge and hit him on his head, Berry skidded to a halt and turned. Keeping his head lowered and pawing at the ground with his hoof, he charged once more at Miss Blackberry. He would make sure not to hit her too hard, but enough so she could feel a little something.

She frowned when Moose turned to attack her again, the same way as before. "If your enemy is able to avoid your attack,
do not try it again. They will expect you to." As Moose came closer, she raised he wing and lashed out to attack him right on his head to stop his charge.

Blueberry frowned. Don't use the same attack? There was only he so much he could come up with. Lightly hitting Miss Blackberry despite her efforts to stop him, Berry smiled.

"Miss, my attack worked although I used it twice. Forgive me for being rude, Miss Blackberry, but it's your turn." Blueberry smirked. He was proud of himself. Planting his hooves in a stable manner, Berry felt prepared for the next attack.

Blackberry stumbled back when Moose hit her and she frowned at his words. Rage boiled in her stomach. How dare he mock her? Did he not realize he was lucky? If she wasn't so busy teaching him, she would have slammed his head to the ground! "Maybe you did, but chances are it won't happen in real combat. You can use the same moves, but not if your enemy knows its coming." She noticed his stance and smirked. "Yes, lets see how you defend." She leaped at him, honking loudly, her wing ready to knock him over.

Blueberry tried to hold still against her attacks, his still weak looking legs much stronger than the day he hatched. In all honesty, the boy had matured quite quickly. He felt kinda bad for mocking Miss Blackberry though. He knew how much her pride meant, and he bashed it.

"Miss, I shouldn't have taunted you. I apologize." Berry told her as she tried to move him. But she failed, and Blue stifled a giggle. Instead, he swung his head at Miss Blackberry in a playful attack.

She was furious that she missed the attack, but Moose's words infuriated her even more. "Don't apologize," she snapped, "I don't need your sympathy." She raised a wing and tried to duck under his head and slam herself against his body.

Missing entirely, Blue felt a sharp smack of Miss Blackberry's wing after she chided him for apologizing.

"Yes, ma'am." He said, upset with himself now for angering her. She might push him away now. No. He'd show her he could be strong, that her words didn't affect him.

A look of determination on his face, Berry now tried to kick at her with his hoof, a little harder than before. He wanted to show her he could be just like her, that he could be just as strong, just as brave, just as amazing.
