The indolent water-monster was clearly too busy eating, or resting, far beneath the black surface. At length, Dragon huffed, turning back to Kera.

"He is resting, I suppose. Try to find the answer; I will try to find him. If I do, I will seek you with it."

With that he turned, plodding into the lake, thick ridged tail dragging through the muck as he limped.

"Be wary of Nemean. She will be the death of us all, if it suits her to be. Where others fight, she tricks. Where others survive, she twists us to our deaths for her amusement. But never let her find out that we know, or she will do her best to end us." With that, he slid out of sight into the dark waters.

The pup was thoughtful for a moment as she watched Dragon bellow and vomit more fire into the darkness, sitting patiently at a relatively safe distance. She did not want to think of the repercussions if she were to be caught in that fire.

She waited, and she waited. Briefly, she considered taking another nap, but as she was about to lay down, Dragon turned around again. "Oh," she said, already half-asleep. Her ears flicked and rotated briefly, thoughtfully. "Okay-- thank you. It was nice meeting you."

She watched the alligator move off towards the water, pushing herself up. She moved to turn away, though paused at Dragon's words. "Then we should kill her," the wolf offered simply. "Trick her in return and kill her. If she's going to kill everyone else then it's only fair that we-..."

But Dragon was gone, and Kera was talking aloud to herself in the darkness. She stared back into the water for a moment, unable to see where the alligator had gone. With a huff, the puppy began striding out of Cetus.
