Before the bear could bring his paws upon the vulnerable dragon, her wing suddenly whipped up to catch his belly and flung him backwards. Oof! He landed on his back with a thud. It was painful, and he barely had strength left to stand back up. He heard screams and a grating voice shrieking some words over it. He growled. The sounds were annoying. His dull red eyes flickered over to where his brother was amongst the audience. He was losing badly to this creature, and this made him feel sad. If this made Fawkews sad too, he would never forgive the dragon. He tried to get back up, flailing his legs about wildly. He was like an upside down turtle, trying to right himself. It was hard, especially when he was becoming tired and in pain. He snarled and snapped his jaws wildly as he continued to flail without any sort of rhyme or reason. "Zeus speaks" 'Zeus thinks'

Asimona scrambled to her feet once the bear was away from her. She distantly heard a loud voice calling out and wondered if it was just another distraction or a gembound in the crowd. She didn't pay attention, though. She had to focus. The fight was almost over and she wanted to finish it off strong.

She leaped towards the bear, dodging his crazy flailing and leaped in to try and pin him down. However, he was flailing too much and she couldn't get in for a good grip.

Finally, Zeus was able to stand up, after a while of flailing wildly on his back. He was tired now, but the fight was not over yet. As Asimon moved for a leap towards him, he leaned forward and attempted to swipe the palm of his right paw across Asimona’s face. It would be his final attempt to knock the dragon down for good. "Zeus speaks" 'Zeus thinks'

Yuma The judge this round had been eerily quiet aside from calling the two contestants out. He'd been told that it would work, that if he only called out the names then their owners would engage each other in a battle of brawn. They'd said some other stuff after that, something about fairness and injury and such but Yuma had mostly stopped paying attention at that point. He watched with unblinking eyes as the two combatants tore into each other, waiting with anticipation for someone's bones to break. It never happened though, though they were strong they must have also been pretty tough. The match continued on until the little white aye aye began to grow slightly bored with the complete lack of real bloodshed. "Hey, Lizard- can I have their gem when you finish killing them? I'm supposed to be collecting them." he called out before remembering exactly what he'd been told before. Right, just like he wasn't supposed to kill people himself to get their gems he wasn't supposed to let the fighters kill each other either. "Actually never mind! I'll wait until they die of 'natural causes'. You won so you can stop now." He announced to Asimona once more in correction. A bit less amusing than he'd originally thought, but fun all the same.

Asimona stepped back from the bear, breathing heavily. Triumph raged in her chest. Did you see that, monster? I'm not weak! You can't hurt me now!" Another presence, something unfamiliar, touched her spine. But it wasn't the same as the dragon. It was something else, lighter and calmer. "Good job, Asimona! I'm so proud of you!" The voice was young and chiming, full of affection and warmth. She sighed and smiled, happy that, whatever these strange things were, they weren't all bad. She was too worn out from the fight to really pay attention to it, but she was glad that she was getting at least a little bit of comfort.

She looked at the bear and dipped her head. "Thank you for the good fight. I had a lot of fun." She then turned to the ground and raised her head proudly, stretching out her wings and giving a flew flaps. She then turned and padded out of the ring, her heart soaring.

As the judge announced the results, the bear was baffled. His bobbed tail flopped pathetically and his ears flinched in irritation. Lost. He had apparently lost. "Thank you for the good fight. I had a lot of fun." Dull beady red eyes stared as the dragon dipped her head. The bear made no move to return the gesture and merely stood frozen as if stunned. Then it really hit him- he had lost. In front of his brother. An enormous roar erupted from his chest and shook the caverns. Then the bear cub turned tail and ran with his stumbling gait, pushing through the audience recklessly. He couldn’t face his brother Fawkes. He probably made his brother upset. ‘Zeus failed at thwap,’ he thought miserably. "Zeus bad brother." "Zeus speaks" 'Zeus thinks'

VINNIE THE VOICE
Vinnie peered at the pair as they battled. It looked nasty. It looked bad. With a huff, he strutted to and fro, webbed feet slapping on the rock.

And what about this judge?! This guy! THIS GUY. Completely silent and then askin' for their rocks?! The hell is wrong with him?!

Aloud, however, the gull just called out. Loudly.

"Ahhh MAN that's a nasty hit! Poor bear just-... Turtlin' about! It's okay, kid, you'll get better," he added by way of encouragement, his warm-hearted impulsiveness taking him. "You're young, yet!"

The little guy seemed pretty stunned by his loss, though--and well, the dragon was departing, too. With a little shrug of his feathered shoulders, Vinnie lifted off, taking flight elsewhere to watch the other brawls.

And to get away from the creepy-eyed, weird judge... guy.
