Blackberry felt the snake tear away from her and his coils loosened. She immediately leaped into the air and hovered for a moment while the snake got away. She gripped a piece of his flesh in her claws and took a moment to raise it, giving it a slow, long lick. The blood tasted so good, smoky and heavy. Like fire and ash. She noticed that everyone's blood tastes different. Perhaps that's why she loved spilling it so much.

With a savage cackle, she dropped the skin and leaped in front of the snake, who's movements were slow. Blueberry must have hurt him enough to cripple him somehow. She leaned down, her red eyes crazed and thirsty. "Where are you going, snakey? I'm not done with you yet!." Her voice was hoarse and strained as she started to lose control. The sight of blood and the snake's gasps of pain had thrown her over the edge. With a shriek of laughter, she longed towards him, her talons flashing, aiming for his eyes.

Blue grinned. The snake was moving sooo slow, slow, slow. And he had done it. That was what HE did! The moose chased after the goose and snake, even though he really didn't need to. Within a few seconds he was right by them, the feelings in the air like electricity sparking between them all, violence and the intent to kill apparent.

Berry smirked as he prepared for his next attack, rearing up to smash the snake. Oh yes, this would hurt. This would hurt very, bery badly.

He was almost there, into the briars. Septiezal remembered a burrow he passed up on the way here. Perhaps he could hide in it, he had no other option, as he couldn't climb a tree in this condition. The goose let loose a horrible cackle that made his blood run cold. She called after him, mocking him, but he dare not look back.

Suddenly, a shadow flew over him and he felt the creatures talons pierce his head. Terror gripped him. She was dangerously close to his gem. Septiezal hissed in pain as her talons mercilessly tore at his eyes, blinding him. It was a pain worse than any fire burn he received. Crimson blood flowed from the serpent's empty eye sockets. His eyes were destroyed, his vision permanently impaired.

I'm blind! She blinded me!

This made things a lot more difficult. Septiezal wriggled desperately to free his head. His tongue flickered, trying to recreate what his eyes would have seen through scent. The moose's heavy hoof falls stormed towards him and Septiezal braced himself for more torture. A loud crunch echoed through him as something heavy slammed down on his gut. Septiezal cried out in pain. The nerves in his shattered spine fired, making his injured coils wriggled like a pathetic worm.

Septiezal focused all his consciousness into his gem, pulling as much magick as his mind could muster. He called forth the heat to char his skin. A cloud of black, suffocating smoke billowed from the snake. Breathing it in made his own lungs cough, but prayed that it would deter his attackers from coming near as the smoke stung eyes and smelled of horrible burnt snake skin.

Blood splattered across Blackberry's talons as she sunk them into the snake's eyes. Her gray legs turned red as she mercilessly tore his eyes out. She laughed wildly, delighted that she had caused such a wound. However, her small victory was short lived as the snake's skin suddenly started smoking and a horrible smell invaded her nose. She honked with frustration as her eyes started to water and was forced to close them.

Furious and hungry to make him pay for that, she shrieked and dove in with her talons again, attacking blindly, anywhere she could.

Blueberry grinned as his hooves came down on the snakes body, letting a pleasing crruunnnccchh make its way from the broken and battered body. But then a rancid, smoky stench came from the snake, and Blue close his eyes qickly.

Infuriated that he would dare to blind him with his rancid smoke, Blue thrashed his head around, trying to catch the snake in his antlers, hoping to make him hurt.

For a moment, it seemed to work. The goose released her grasp on his head, honking in frustration, but before Septiezal could attempt escape, her talon ripped deep through his blacken skin, spilling his entrails.

Instinctively, Septiezal blindly lashed around at the pain to sink his teeth into the monstrous goose. His jaws did latch on to something, he hoped it was the goose. His curved teeth prevented conventional escape. Like a trap, the more one tugged, the deeper they tore.

The moose's antler's caught the snake's broken body, flinging it like a limp worm with its guts leaking out. Eventually, the python's coils got stuck on the beast's antlers as if they were a tangled vine. It did more damage to Septiezal, possibly made his injuries worse, but all he could do was dig his teeth deeper into whatever he had a hold of, possibly taking it with him.

She felt blood, so much blood, splatter across her body. She couldn't see it, but her entire front had become stained red and sticky, her feathers clumped unevenly. She was drunk with the power and the blood she was spilling. She barely realized that she had left herself open until the snake's fangs were sinking into her leg. Fear raced through her veins and she prepared for the venom to take effect.

But there was nothing. Just the stinging pain of his fangs in her skin. Was he not venemous? She had thought that all snakes had venom. But no, he didn't. No intense pain followed the bite. With a strangled honk of satisfaction, she lunged forward to sink her beak into the top of the snake's head. Unfortunately, her aim was off and she merely stabbed into open air, completely missing the Python.

Blue grinned as he felt the snake tangle in his antlers, feeling the blood of the creauture spill over him like a red shower of pain and gore. The moose let out a war-cry, shaking his head furiously. Oh yes, this was a beautiful massacre.

"Oh glorious day!" Blue sang, tossing his head back once more to throw the snake off. Turning, he looked down at the mangled creature. He threw down a hoof, trying to smack the snake once more.

Septiezal tumbled through the air as the moose tossed him, taking the goose with him by the foot. His tattered body flopped pitifully into the mud with a splat. He fought for the will to keep with the fight, his life depended on it, although, by looks of his hopelessly mangled body, there wasn't much left.

The moose slammed his hoof down once more, but with his spine broken in multiple place, all the serpent's body did was convulse mindlessly at the blow, like a severed lizard's tail. Septiezal no longer felt anything in his coils, he did not even notice the viscera spilling from the deep tears in his belly. Septiezal's strength was waning and the sobering realization of his approaching death was upon him like a looming shadow.

So this is how it ends... horribly.

Despair filled the snake's lungs. He did not want to die, but he saw no way out. Anger suddenly rose in him, one last spark to ignite a dying fire. He was going to give them something to remember him by, something painful.

Pulling every last ounce of power into his gem, Septiezal forced everything he had into his maw. His jaws glowed bright with fire as blistering heat coursed through his veins to burn the goose's flesh from her body. His snout burned during the process, but Septiezal did not cease, and he did not let go. He wanted to smell his murderer's flesh cook.

Blackberry honked loudly as she went tumbling through the air along with the snake. Was Blueberry a complete moron? She was still here! Her leg, which was still clamped in the snake's jaws, pulled her along with him. She flopped heavily on the ground, the wind knocked out of her body instantly.

She sat stunned for a moment before an intense heat charred her legs. She screamed in pain and frustration before reaching forward with her other talon to try and scourge his face and push him off of her.
