Mawra laughed happily as Eeya praised her. The happy feeling was just so wonderful! And she was proud that Eeya was happy she was getting her words right! Though, when Eeya began to speak again, Mawra tilted her head to the side with her big ol ears perked forward. "Maaaaauuuuurraaaaaa.... e.. a..aki...i." Mawra mimicked what Eeya had song, taking it a bit slower as this seemed to be entirely different than her other words. She repeated it a couple times. She knew her name now so that part was easy, but she had to repeat the last bits a couple times and watch Eeya's gesturing to realize what it was she was saying. She struggled for a little bit longer before it finally clicked. Mawra was a land animal!!

Her tail now slapped against the ground excitedly as she could do nothing but wiggle with all the energy that was building up within her. "Maaaaauuuuurraaaaaa e aakii!" Mawra is land animal! She sang back again, this time followed by glee filled laughter. She was learning how to talk! How exciting was that?! Soon enough Eeya began to speak again and Mawra instantly settled down and pushed her ears forward again to listen. ""Eeeeyyaaaaa e eekii" Eeya is a sea creature. This time her mimicking came much easier! As did her understanding of the singsong noises.

"No no! Good! Good I am learn!" She yipped and barked happily as Mawra seemed to move closer to the water. However, in her excitement she didn't reallize how close she was to the water and all of a sudden her back legs slipped and with a surprised yip the little vixen went head first back into the water! Oh no. Not again. Mawra didn't panic this time however, and she quickly tried to start kicking her feet again until her head popped over the surface and she was able to catch a breath. ""Eeeeyyaaaaa aa Aaaeee" Eeya, help! Her voice wasn't panicked, but rather full of laughter as she called for the aid of her new fish friend. Even as the current drug her down further the river she wasn't worried! Eeya would be there!

She understood! Hooray! What a fast little learner. He didn't even have to slow down for her before she caught on to the language. The dolphin bobbed his head up and down excitedly. "Yay! Mawra is good learner!" Before he could say more the little fox stumbled forwards into the water. There was a moment of panic as the dolphin ducked beneath the surface, aiming to find her and pop her back up. To his relief the vixen was able to save herself as she paddled her paws and poked back up to the top of the water. Laughter was in her voice as she called for help in his own native tongue.

Wow! She really was a fast learner! Perhaps being born under the surface of the water and hearing only a dolphin for her first companion helped her.

Eeya zoomed towards the fox before she could get too far and put one of his flippers underneath her to buoy her up but he didn't duck beneath her this time like the first time. It was time for some swimming lessons! "Maauuuraaa kiaa. Eeya aaaeeekoo!" Mawra swim. Eeya help you! With that he turned her around so that they weren't so far downstream and she could practice without fear of being sucked under the currents. His fin was always underneath her though as he swam next to her and attempted to buoy her up, never would he let her go under as she practiced paddling with her limbs and strengthening her legs. "Eeya e eeeaah."Eeya is right here. He sang, letting her know he wouldn't leave her side. Not until she was ready.

Swimming lessons? Now that seemed fun! Laughter escaped the little kit as she slapped her front paws at the water's surface, causing water to go flying from the force in all directions. All the while her back legs kicked and kicked, working hard to keep her head over the rivers surface. This was definitely fun. Her wet auds perked up instantly when Eera began to speak again and a broad smile slipped across her features. Her new friend had promised not to leave her in her spot.

"Maauuuraaa keeeaa eh" Mawra laughed happily as she finally got the hang of swimming. One paw slap after another against the water and she was successfully doggy paddling through the water, well she wasn't really going anywhere fast. Not with the current going against the way she was swimming. That was fine though! Her tail would be wagging a mile a second if it were not submerged in the water.

Soon enough, however, the little kit was slowly growing tired and her gaze shifted towards the bank of the river. "Maauuuraaa keeeeaa ae" Mawra is done... She sang quietly as she now made her way towards the bank. Slowly she drug herself up and took this time to shake her entire body, sending water all over the place. She sunk down to sit upon her haunches before turning a grin to Eeya. "You, best swim friend" she purred happily, wagging her tail in her joy of knowing Eeya was her good friend. Her only friend at the moment. After all, she had only moment ago been born into Origin. If it had not been for Eeya, she would surely never be able to discover what all exists within the caves.

The dolphin swam alongside her and laughed as she began to swim. She was getting the hang of it fast! The benefits of being born in the water seemed to be pretty numerous. The fox wasn't going very quickly but that was fine with Eeya. He was content going whatever speed that she needed to go at this moment. In time she would get faster and faster and faster then they could really do some swimming. "Yay! Keeeaakoo! Oooara kaaa!" Yay! You are doing it! Very good! He praised her excitedly as they swam together.

Unfortunately they couldn't go on forever and Mawra finished her rounds. Eeya escorted her back to shore and laughed again as she shook her fur, spraying water all over him. "Mawra best swim friend too!" He wanted to show her how much he appreciated the time they spent and how she'd attempted swimming so he had an idea. "Wait here! Eeya be back right quick!" With that he popped beneath the surface.

The dolphin swam around for a bit going to the bottom of the river floor. He used his echolocation and found a spiral seashell. Perfect! The dolphin picked it up in his mouth and zoomed back to the surface. Happily he tossed the shell to Mawra and explained. "For yoooou. You official-dolphin! You get present! Keep and remember that you always be dolphin-friend!" He bobbed his head up and down as he sang, happy to have such an awesome dolphin-friend.

Mawra was tired. All the swimming was finally taking it's toll. Not to mention the struggle she had to make just to not drown the moment she was freed of her chrysalis. A soft murring sound escaped the kit as she settled down on her belly, listening as Eeya spoke. Wait here? Was he going somewhere? Curious seafoam green eyes watched as the dolphin dived under the water. Thankfully the water was crystal clear so she was able to see just where her new dolphin friend was going. Her ears pricked forward as she tried to figure out what it was that Eeya was doing.

The fox kit scooted back as the dolphin came rushing back, throwing something up on the bank towards her and instantly Mawra perked up as she used her paws to catch the bouncing shell. "Oh my gosh!" She yelped excitedly as she sat back on her hind legs and brought the seashell up towards her face for a better inspection. Her tail was going a mile a second behind her as she now studied this new item her friend had given her.

Official dolphin! She could scream with joy! But, something else seemed to spark from her wild, overwhelming excitement. It was a strange sensation, one that quickly fizzled out just as fast as it had came, but it was completely ignored by the overly excited kit as she seemed to hop up and down on her back legs. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She kept repeating, her once weariness now forgotten as she jumped around with her new trinket.

The dolphin gave a toothy grin when he realized that the fox was overjoyed at his gift. "You like? You like?" Why was he even asking? Of course she liked it! Just look at that smile and the way she held it! The dolphin's tail smacked against the water as he mimicked her tail movements. This only caused water to splash but he didn't mind getting more wet and he knew she wouldn't mind either. They were friends and friends could splash each other!

He was happy with her! He was so happy that his body started to glow brightly! One could say that he was positively glowing with joy! He giggled and swam up closer to the shore, head poking out of the water right in front of the hopping fox. "Welcome, welcome! Eeya glad that Mawra likes it!" Perhaps when she came back to visit he could teach her to go under the water and then she'd complete her training as a dolphin! That would be oh so very fun! "Keep always and remember dolphin-lessons! Eeya always remember his bestest friend Mawra!" That was certainly the truth. The fox was like his little dolphin-sister because he'd been there since the moment she had hatched and not only that but she had rescued him herself.

Mawra laughed and quickly nodded her head when Eeya questioned if she liked the gift or not. Of course she did! Now was the question...what would she do with it? Maybe she could find something to string it up with and maybe wear it so she wouldn't have to carry it all over the place. Yes, she would have to do that. Mawra sat the seashell down on the ground and gave another happy grin she was super excited to learn more of what Eeya could teach her! She would so jump right back in that water if she wasn't feeling as drained as she was.

"I will keep it forever!" She yipped happily as she kept the seashell close to her. It would be a gift she would never ever leave behind. Or lose. Or let anyone steal it! She would bite their ears off if they tried! She grinned at the thought, but hoped nothing would ever come to that. A sudden yawn slipped pass her guard, causing her maw to open wide, before shaking her head to try and clear her head from the sudden sneaky yawn. "Iiii am tired" She had to stifle another yawn as it threatened to escape, her ears drooping to the sides of her head. Maybe she should find a place to curl up and get some sleep. She had a very long and eventful time as it was.

The pup confirmed with a nod of her head that she did indeed like it and Eeya whistled with joy. She also said that she would keep it forever and never lose it which also made the dolphin happy. "Yay!" He cheered happily. His tail smacked the waves again with his joy as he backed up some so that his whole body minus his large melon and beak were submerged in the water.

He couldn't miss the yawn of the fox. It was nearly as big as herself! He knew what a yawn meant though he never yawned in terms of the sleepiness aspect. "Mawra should go sleep! She tired! Her and Eeya can play again tomorrow! Be much, many fun!" He bobbed his head up and down excitedly. Yes. Sleep was what both of them needed and if she wandered off to sleep then he would do so himself!

He swam further out from the shore and turned sideways in the water, waving one fin at her. "Go go! Eeya always come when Mawra need him. Just remember your dolphin-calls!" With that he slid beneath the surface of the waves so that he could swim to the middle of the river and sleep. Rescuing someone else and in turn getting rescued yourself was a busy job!

Mawra grinned and wagged her tail quickly. "I will come find you again! Next time we learn new thingS!" She laughed happily as she rose up to her paws. With one last wave of her paw Mawra picked up her trinket with her mouth and turned around. Her seafoam green eyes looked all over, studying the dazzling room with all it's beautiful lights. What caused these lights anyways? The thoughts didn't linger long as the young kit wearily trotted off to find a good place to lay down and sleep. A soft, happy humming escaped the kit as she trotted along. Eager to find that perfect sleeping spot!

When something caught her eyes, Mawra quickly made her way over towards it. She yipped happily as she found a nice ledge to jump up onto. It was further away from the river. Further away from Eeya, but that was okay. She would be safe in this nook in the wall. With a crouch the fox kit jumped up, nearly missing her target before she scrambled up into the crevice. She circled around in it for a small moment before dropping her hind end down first. She took this moment to safely tuck her trinket down in the middle of her before she fully wrapped herself up into a small furry ball. With one last yawn the young fox kit's eyes fluttered close and the peaceful dreams of sleep soon consumed her young mind.
