All Welcome

MAGICKA LEVEL 100%
RESTORED TO 100%

The heavy alligator had been drifting, blowing bubbles while lost in thought, at the surface of the black Heart of Cetus. He was mostly submerged, bar nostrils and eyes, when the strange flush of magicka flowed through the cave like an energizing wind. Dark eyes snapped open and his full, ridged length bobbed to the surface, head lifting from the water to peer around.

What... was that?

For a moment he simply lay there, curious and a little concerned, alert yet basking in the flow of magic. It might not be dangerous--but it might. Something might have happened farther into the caves--deeper, away from Cetus. What if there was another fight? What if the Spire was endangered, or damaged?

The alligator grunted, and turned his rudder tail to propel himself in a slow, smooth glide to shore. Once there he hauled his heavy body onto marshy land, irritated at the feeling of his trembling bulk's increased weight. He dragged himself through the reeds, letting out a bellow.

"CHILDREN OF ROT!" he roared. He hauled himself forward, limping and slow, but repeating the call as he went. "CHILDREN! Find the source of this! What is this--new magic?" They had to find out--for their own safety, if nothing else.

And for knowledge.

For survival.

Dragon opened his mouth, then paused, tilting his head. There was a soft, tinkling chiming, and the alligator hauled himself toward it. He couldn't see it, not at first, but there was a singing crystal already cropping up behind a nearby boulder. "AND FIND OUT," he added in a roar, "WHY THE ROCK IS SINGING."
