Xervas had taken time to heal after his two fights. And after that brief timespan was over with, he headed back to Cetus. Where he picked up the sound of something... singing? Was that the correct word?

He quickly looked around and found the source-- a... crystal? That couldn't be right. Crystals did not make sounds like this! Confused, he approached it. If a bird could frown, Xervas would have. Yes, the sound seemed to be coming from this crystal. Maybe it was a spell of some kind?

He stared at the crystal for a moment before very reluctantly tapping it- then jerking his clawed foot away. But when nothing happened, the lammergeier grew even more confused. Was it just... making that sound? Was someone pulling a prank? He hadn't noticed anything on his way here. But now there was just a crystal sticking out of the mud. Was it just always here?

Xervas usually wasn't the overly curious type, but this was... odd, to say the least.
