Asimona flicked her tail impatiently. This competition was starting to get annoying. So far, despite having advanced far into the matches, she had only really fought once against the bear. The deer had disappeared and whoever she was supposed to fight before hadn't even shown up! She wanted to prove her strength, not her ability to attend things. Hopefully this one would give her a challenge. Whoever it was.

She stepped out into the ring, her tail swinging gently across the ground and her wings quivering with excitement. Despite her annoyance at the previous matches' turnouts, she had a good feelign about this one. Or, at least, she hoped that she did.

She sat down at her place in the ring and curled her tail over her claws, her head held high, waiting for her final opponent to arrive.

Imperia wondered when they'd get a real battle. So far, the only actual battle they had was against Kin-kin. And they knew the wolf. They wanted a battle against someone they hadn't fought before. Someone who could give them a real fight. It had been much too long since their last real fight.

They stepped onto the ring, only to see someone already there and waiting for them. At just at the first sight, they knew they would finally get a real battle. The creature was tall - much taller than them, and practically towered over Imperia. She had a long tail wrapped around her paws - would she even have paws? - and large wings.

They walked over until they were in front of the creature, their head also held high. Now that they were closer, their eyes raked over the creature again. This one should actually put up a fight. Finally.

Asimona only had to wait a few moments until her opponent made themselves known. A cat, quite small compared both to her and to her last opponent, but she could tell by their stature and their expression that they were both a strong fighter and possibly much older then her. They wouldn't go down easily.

Unable to sit anymore, Asimona rose to her feet, her long tail swishing impatiently behind her. She didn't say a word - what words needed to be said? She could see the glimmer in the cat's eyes that they had been waiting as well. They would finally make decent opponents of each other.

With a roar of happiness, Asimona leaped forward, claws extended, to knock the cat flying.

Imperia watched as the dragon rose, tail unfurling from around her. They could see claws, sharp and ready. Their own claws were digging into the ground, one pair a glistening pink. It wasn't long before the dragon leapt forward them, claws extended.

They thought briefly about jumping up to meet her, but with the plates on chest and belly, it was near doubtless they'd do much damage. They settled with attempting to dodge, sure there would be a chance to strike later.

Asimona's leap was clumsy and poorly timed, but at least she was on course to his her opponent. For a moment, she thought she would be able to knock them over, but they were suddenly gone, dodging to the side. She landed and almost lost her balance, but quickly righted herself, turning to face them again.

She narrowed her eyes. She was much bigger then them and definitely stronger, but they seemed to be much faster then she realized. It would be difficult to land a hit. But she would try anyways. She had gotten this far, after all.

She crouched again and leaped towards the cat, intending on landing a strike once again, claws curved in so that she wouldn't tear into their fur and flesh. But, once again, she misjudged how small they were compared to her and she completely missed, stumbling to the side as she tried to right her mistake.

Imperia was deftly able to dodge the dragon. She turned and went after them again, but they didn't even have to move. The dragon missed them again, and they couldn't stop a small chuckle from rising. She was certainly big and strong but seemed hardly aware of her own strength. This might be easier than they thought.

Their gaze looked over the dragon. There wasn't much they could do. They certainly couldn't knock them over, but maybe if they could just land somewhere on her...Back, maybe? Wings might make it hard, but if they could just get in a good spot...Of course, they had to remind themselves they weren't going to actually hurt the dragon. This was all just a...friendly competition. Eyes narrowed, they made their decision and leaped.

Asimona just managed to pick up the small chuckle that came from the cat and she suddenly felt a burning, furious fire in her chest. How dare they mock her?! She would show them that she was a worthy opponent! She hadn't gotten so far in the competition just to be scorned by a feline less then half her size!

As soon as they jumped on her back, Asimona grabbed at the ground beneath her with her claws to keep herself steady and shook herself off, trying to dislodge Imperia from her backside. Hopefully throw him against the rocks too. Band his head. That would show him.

Imperia was successful in landing on the dragon, but it didn't seem like she liked that very much. They'd barely managed to get a good grip when suddenly she was thrashing around, desperate to get them off. They let out a low growl, but let themselves be thrown off.

They were determined to not be deterred, however. Using the momentum from their landing, they aimed to land on the dragon again.

Asimona felt the cat successfully dislodge from her back, but then, before she knew it, she felt their claws as they latched on again. Annoyed that they weren't trying any new tactics, she tried to figure out a better way to get them off. Perhaps if she tried to use her wings to throw them off of her.

She opened her wings and began swatting them back, but they glanced harmlessly over the cat, unable to be strong enough to do much, as she had to pull them back a great deal to reach.
