SHENGXIAO
PUT ON A SMILE, DO IT IN STYLE

Why was everything turning white? There had been a lot of white crystals on Orion's ceiling, but this was just becoming a lot of white. Curious, Shengxiao bounded up to one of the icy walls and sniffed it. It didn't really smell like anything but it certainly was cold. Putting his nose closer made it feel like he was dipping it in cold water. He stepped back and reached up with one of his hands, giving his nose a small rub to warm it up. Strange, but new! He wanted to see more.

He turned and continued to make his way through the cave, definitely a lot more relaxed then he was during his first cycle. His green eyes had somehow changed to a glistening white and he carried himself with a little more grace for a creature of his shape and size. He was growing a little more, maybe about the size of a pony now. He didn't really notice how big he was, though, as the only other creature he had met was Scorch and, yes, they were small, but he assumed that they were just the exception. There were probably lots of things that were the same size as him!

As he reached a deeper part of the tunnel, he stopped dead in his tracks at the sight ahead of him. The ground was no longer gray and brown, but covered in crystal white. He could feel the cold air around him and it only got colder as he got closer. Curiously, he dabbed at it with a finger, jumping a little at the coldness. Should he keep testing it out? He didn't want to get too cold. But, then again, it looked like a lot of fun! Letting go to his impulsive nature, he leaped forward and dived right into the white mass.

He gasped at the coldness, but as soon as he saw the puff of white bursting into the air, he realized that he didn't care. That was so cool! He hadn't expected it to be so fluffy! With a cry of joy, he tossed a pile into the air and dove forward again, bouncing his way through the snow. It was cold, yes, but he didn't care! This was awesome!
