Despite having arrived in the room not too long ago, the young Binturong had no idea where she was. The cave was unfamiliar, open and cold, brighter then she was used to (although she could not remember what she was used to) and stirred no part of her memory. There was a vague recollection of some kind of lizard, but only a flash of their appearance made its way through her horrifying memory. Where had she been before? She couldn't remember that either.

She was wandering, going somewhere, but she couldn't remember exactly where she was supposed to be going. She simply drifted around, growing more and more frustrated by the minute. What on earth was she even doing here? After some time, she couldn't contain her agitation anymore and kicked a rock near her foot as hard as she could while yelling out, "Dammit!" She stood there and fumed for a moment, having a small temper tantrum as she kicked and pebble and stone in the immediate vicinity.

It didn't take long for her to grow bored of this and to continue moving, growing hungrier and sleepier by the second. She would need to find a place to relax and take a rest, maybe find some fruit to munch on. But this feeling of being lost was really starting to get annoying.

Artume was not one for fits of temper.

She was calm and gentle, collected no matter what. Her voice was soft, with hardly any harsh words to be said.

So when she heard a loud 'dammit', and then crashing and rattling, she found herself investigating. She did not run, or stot, instead beginning to trot in the direction of the noise.

She found an odd looking creature, with dark colored fur, lumbering across the ground sleepily. So she approached it warily - it was new, she could tell - and called out "Are you alright?"

By the time the stag called out to her, Lethe had forgotten about the tantrum she had had just moments before. So she was a little confused when she turned to face the approaching stranger. Did she really look so terrible that some random creature was making sure she was okay?

She frowned at the stag, taking a small step back. They were a lot bigger then her and anything bigger then her made her feel a little threatened. Her whiskers twitched and her lip curled slightly in a silent warning to stay back. "What's it to you?" She didn't need anyone caretaking her. She was perfectly capable of taking care of herself!

The stag looked at the little beast... what was it? She'd never seen anything like it before, but it was a Gembound, and that was enough for her.

It turned, and she was rather startled by its hostility. But it was small, and seemed young, so she took a step backward, and inclined her head. "I don't want to hurt you. I heard rocks being thrown around and wanted to see if anyone was hurt." She twitched her ears, looking at the child.

Lethe narrowed her eyes with disbelief. This...this thing! It was totally lying to her! She had no memory of any such rock throwing. Her long tail swished angrily against the ground and she frowned at the big brute. "What are you talking about, I wasn't throwing any rocks! There wasn't anyone throwing any rocks! You're dreaming or something."

She wanted to go find a place to nap but this stag was just getting in her way. She wanted to lash out at it, but that would take too much effort and something in her told her that it definitely didn't deserve it. Yeah, they were okay, but they were just really annoying.

Artume looked down at Lethe. Its personality was off-putting and, to be honest, rather annoying. But she didn't let it show, instead continuing to remain calm. A guardian she was, and so she had to be able to put up with those who were less than friendly.

"My apology," she bowed her head to Lethe. "I thought I heard rocks being thrown about. I may have imagined it, or perhaps somebody else was throwing the rocks. My apologies for bothering you."

She raised her head, saying, "Please, let me make amends. Is there anything I can do for you?"

Lethe grumbled, feeling her anger die away as the stag apologized. At least they were considerate. She found herself relaxing a bit as any reason for being angry dissolved like mist under light. She sat down and brought up her back leg to scratch at an itch on her side before she put it back down a gave the stag a small nod. "Thanks for the apology."

Not exactly a humble creature, Lethe started to think about what the deer could do for her that would be helpful. What did she need right now? Well, sleep. But she couldn't help with that. And then, all of a sudden, her stomach let out a huge groan. Her whiskers twitched with amusement at herself. Of course she was hungry. "Um, if you want to do something, do you know where there's some fruit around here?"

Artume inclined her head, glad to have soothed the little... whatever it was. It wasn't exactly the kindest beast, but didn't seem truly malicious. "Of course. My apologies for assuming."

Her ears twitched at a low groan, eyes darting down to the younglings stomach. Without a second thought, her hoof began to glow, and a banana formed in front of the Binturong.

"There are fruit trees this way, allow me to show you. But this should tide you over until we get there." turning, she began to stride towards the nearby fruit trees.

Lethe's eyes flicked to the banana that had suddenly appeared at Artume's feet and blinked a few times, as if to clear her eyes of something. There was no way that the stag could create magical bananas. "Oh wow," she breathed. "How did you know bananas are my favorite?!" She reached forward and grabbed the fruit, quickly stripping away the skin with her razor sharp claws. She ate it quickly, giving her paws a few licks afterwards before following the deer, completely unaware of her fur suddenly glimmering.

She padded along beside them, all of a sudden growing confused. Where were they going? Why was she following them? She paused for a second, trying to remember if she had explained where she was taking her. But no memory formed until she felt her stomach groan again. Oh yes, fruit trees.

She caught sight of them and stumbled ahead of the deer, a bounce coming into her step as she nearly sprinted towards the trees. Although her sprint wasn't exactly impressive.

She clawed her way up the trunk of the first one and found a branch that would hold her steady. She reached up and pulled down a branch, gentle picking at the red fruits hanging from the branches. She went on like this until the branch was empty and moved onto another. Once it was depleted, she lowered herself onto the branch and sighed contently. Finally, she felt satisfaction in her stomach. She was done eating for now.

And she had completely forgotten about the stag.
