Huckleberry froze at the sight of the banana, wondering how in the heck it had even gotten there. And then she burst out laughing, stomping at the ground with her foot. "Oh wow, you can make sparkling fruit come out of thin air! That's so much better then anything I can do! Yeah, yeah! I would love to have magical bananas!"

At Pagie's offer, she gratefully leaned down and grabbed half of the fruit. With a strong chomp she broke off half of the fruit and chewed on it, peel and everything. She didn't notice herself beginning to sparkling until she had swallowed it. A sparkled passed across her eye and she looked back, widening her eyes at the gleam on her fur. "I'M GLITTERING!!" She laughed and chased herself in a circle for a moment, swatting at the glitter and sparkles, completely forgetting about the fox on the ground for the moment.

Paige started giggling uncontrollably as Huckleberry ate the banana and started to glitter everywhere. "HA! Ha ha Ha hA that's so funny! Those sparkles! Bananas produce sparkles now? Yes! Yes they do!" Beside herself with amusement, Paige nommed up her half of the banana and nearly choked herself laughing. "Look at me! Sparkles flying in my fur! We're so radiant! .... I bet we could light up this cave without any lights if we ate a whole bunch!"

Determined now to test her new theory, Paige attempted to reproduce the magic she'd just used, this time asking for a whole bunch of bananas. It worked .... sort of .... the bananas were pretty small and Paige was pretty sure they'd made a farting noise when coming into existence, but they were still perfectly good magical bananas!

"What if.... what if the air ate a banana? Oooh, if a light ate a banana would it glow more?" She picked up a banana and waved it in the air to see if it would trail sparkles. It didn't. Then she got an idea! A wonderful idea! "Ooooh, what if.... what if.... if we make a rock with a mouth and put the banana inside? Or make a mouth of sparks and make it eat the banana and be sparkly sparks? And if it doesn't work we can just eat the bananas! Delicious bananas!"

Huckleberry listened with interest to Pagie's ideas and nodded thoughtfully. He wasn't sure about the air but he certainly knew that it didn't have a mouth at least. As for the rock, Huckleberry suddenl darted forward and picked up a rock in a claw. He hopped back and, without any hesitation, smashed it down on one of the bananas. "See? There's rock underneath so this would be like a mouth, right?" To his disappointement, nothing happened except the banana was squashed.

But then an absolutely brilliant idea came to Huckleberry's head and his eyes lit up with excitement. "Oooo, wait, what if I did this!" He thrust his head forward and focused his magic, sending a weak bolt of lightning towards one of the bananas. There was a flash of glitter and the banana exploded, some of its flesh splattering onto Huckleberry's muzzle and probably Paige's as well. He burst out laughing and licked up the sparkly fruit. "Wow, that was awesome!"
