Around this tiny section in Orion, it has been solemnly quiet for quite some time now, like someone has died here and these caves are silent in quiet mourning and respect for whichever unfortunate, poor being who ended up meeting their untimely end around here. Amongst this part is a wall with a teensy hole part of it, only a few inches wider than a door peephole it was perhaps, within this mini alcove here is a pebble which glowed a reasonably bright light, though it seems to be faintly dim right now oddly enough. What stood out more than this glowing stone was many polpala plants which strangely enough managed to grow like moss in this little hole, they have bloomed quite well. These plants are standing tall and bunched together like a bush; they've blossomed so much they have brunched up a little from this haven's low ceiling and has wound their way around other parts to it where they can sprout up with more space. They've grown so much they've essentially wrapped itself around this little cave's entirety, claiming it as its own. Within this tall plant's centre, it has something squirrelled away in it, something with great importance; a tiny, little chrysalis which has quite a glow to it right now, flashing on and off, its transitions to each intensity in lighting was a smooth one like a silent alarm. It appears these fertile plants grew around this chrysalis, which perhaps means it's due to this very crystal cocoon here why this greenery has managed to flourish in such a small and dark location, not too add how it is to some extent in Orion's outskirts which makes it more impressive how these plants have grown in here.

What this silence around here is unaware about is how what being is within this chrysalis isn't quite dead, quite unfortunate how they got to be in this situation for sure but they're alive, and this silence is about to learn this fact right about now. And as if on cue a loud noise broke this silence, with how silent it is this sound seems to be loud but it isn't at all, a sound like many twigs from a campfire or something getting snapped simultaneously, as many hairline fractures split this chrysalis' shell. Little-coloured pieces such as blue, purple and bronze fly off this chrysalis as it quakes violently until some light bursts out from it and makes an explosion of shards as this chrysalis breaks completely. Something shoots out from this broken chrysalis in a blur, a mostly cinnamon brown blur with other coloured blurs such as blue, pink and some purple too, a little like what this chrysalis' colours were. This fast blur is ricocheting off this grotto's walls like some pinball and shows no signs to stopping, this constant bouncing off walls is causing quite a ruckus around this part from thuds echoing from these walls, entirely different from how quiet it was earlier.

Whatever it is; they are highly agitated and terrified as it sounds like it is yelping or something.

Man this place is fantastic! Pretty ceiling with all these 'stars' which seem so outta this world, fun parties with tasty food, good new buddies and maybes even someone who he can playfully tease too it seems~. This place is so cool, Zeke is kinda tempted to maybes stay here; probs mighta in the end, what with his laziness and all. Honestly with now all it's missing righta now is some nice trees with maybes some fruit to grow on them or maybes even some cosy, warm pools, to take a nap in. Right now Zeke has had his fun earlier, and he needs a break from all this ruckus, so Zeke has been taking a lil stroll to check out these neat sights, and maybes have a nap where it's quiet for him to be able to chill.

Zeke even now is still growing, righta bout now his pink horns have pretty much matured entirely, only maybes a little too small still as his large ears are more prominent than them even now. Genuine wings have now sprouted on his sides, can't carry him much though but quite a jarring change from when he only had weird little white feathers which were amongst his fluffy blue fur, he couldn't even fluff them during those not too long ago times. His scales are much like real armour now with a particular sheen to them when exposed to some light, not to add how much more fluffy his fur has gotten especially around his head with his white mane. Zeke was kinda worried his coat was gonna cover over his eyes at this rate, which hasn't happened thankfully but this concern has been gnawing at him for quite some time. Of course most importantly is his size in general which is probs something like being three metres at his shoulders righta now, so his steps carry much more weight to them every time he walks, even he can sometimes take note now on how his footsteps are causing lil quakes under him.

These quakes from his steps followed him even now as he went to a quieter part in Orion here, he went as far as the dragon can go until he came across a wall and so turned a little and moved to walk in which direction this hallway kinda wall will lead him to. Zeke didn't move far though this part seems nice and wow is he tired from all this walking, so Zeke flops down onto this ground, a quake shaking this ground from his whole weight all dropping down at once like so as he closed his eyes.

Well, he was bout to sleep but a sec into trying to go to sleep with nothing but silence from not moving anymore his ear flicked up as it found something like a crying sound or something from righta above him.

His eyes immediately opened back up as he got worried; did he accidentally hurt something small while he was walking and not having a clue? But as he checks below him as he got back up this crying kinda, this sound was coming from above kinda, well not really overhead with his size and all but it was coming from above this flat ground, like from this wall itself. Oh no, Is someone hurt or stuck?

His observant eyes scanned this wall to find this sound's source and being good with finding even a small detail he discovered a teensy hole and something occasionally speeding past this hole's entrance, he had no clue what it was, but it sounds like this crying was coming from it or them.

Gently he lowered himself a lil and moved his snout a bit closer with his attempt to approach whoever it is till he could kinda get a glimpse inside this hole which has lotta vines or something. They're kinda like those tall plants in the trench with his little buddy he fed and took a nap with, though they didn't talk, so he didn't learn their name sadly. This blur was spinning around this place everywhere as these vines rustled from it all, and even now they were going so fast he still couldn't make out their appearance, all he is aware is they are crying sorta. Carefully he moved his face a lil more to try his best for his eyes to catch their form; his snout was pretty much pressing against this wall now.

"Hey hey hey hey buddy... c'mon what's wrong...? Let's calm down a lil before you hurt yourself from doing that..." his voice is a lil muffled with his snout and so to an extent his nose got pressed against this wall too, but his tone was quiet and gentle as he tried to carefully prod and reason with them here, he hopes he can help them.

Wh-Whh-What's going on?! What is happening right now? Why are they trapped in this dark place? Where is she right now? Who is she? The only thing she can recall is feeling so much pain and being so scared, why did it happen? Is everything going to hurt her out there if being hurt is all her head can picture right now? Is this why she got trapped in this dark, cramped place with strange arms trying to grab her? No no no no, please no, no more! She didn't do anything to upset anyone, and she has no intention to so please leave her alone, please let her out this room! This bat tries her best whenever she lands on a wall to push against it in the hope a door or anything will open or pressure from her pushing will cause a bit to this wall to break away in her wishes to grant herself an exit. But as she continued with no sign about anything like an exit she gets slower in her movements from tiredness as her yelps turn into sobs at her situation.

Someone... Anyone, please help!

She would've given up, but she isn't exactly such a type to give up, so she keeps ramming herself at these walls, much slower now so she is no longer a fast blur. What shows now is a teensy cinnamon brown bat, with a strange yellow nose and many brightly coloured patches around her brown fur, like colours from her Gem exploded onto her coat or something.

After another bout in ramming herself everywhere, she took a small break as she tried to catch her breath, her head away from the actual exit for quite some time for she never thought to check behind herself. Never this no longer is so as her ears perk up catching something reasonably loud for her ears but not painful. Still, it makes her go entirely motionless with dread when it dawns on her something is behind her and with her amnesia and only memory is about being in pain this awareness is enough to make her diminutive form tremble so much, refusing to turn her head right now to find what's behind her.

Oh geez... They're not listening to him, they're still going at it, and he now is aware this kid very much something alive when this kid took a break sorta, dang they're so small, something tells him they'd be considered tiny for even someone like his lil bud who he met in those trenches. He's so tempted righta now to carefully pick them up himself and get them outta there since they don't seem to have knowledge where they can get out is righta behind them, so very tempting.

Thankfully they eventually stopped, but he can take note how they're trembling so much righta after he called out to them, it gave him a pang of guilt if they're shaking so much because of Zeke himself.

"Hey now... Easy there bucko, just, listen kay...? The exit is righta behind you, no need to do that lil bud, you'll hurt yourself. If you can't find your way through this place, follow my voice kid, I'll help ya alrighty...?" he spoke as delicate as he could, it was like the dragon was addressing a scared cornered animal, though in this case, he supposes they are in a way, though he has no malicious intentions at all.

This tiny bat stayed still for a while, hoping her ears are merely playing tricks on her mind, but no, this deep voice came again from behind her, and once again it was a little loud. This tiny bat at last, nervously shifted her small head to take a teensy peek and regretted it immediately. Oh no, they're humungous...! All her eyes found was two huge blue eyes with something like bright lights on them, and so much fur they have! What's worse, although yes she did decipher them mentioning about an exit which there is, this has brought some relief, but their head is right in front, she effectively is trapped! This hole behind her is her only way out, but she risks allowing this enormous thing to possibly catching her if she dares to try and venture out this exit. This tiny bat's wild imagination currently, what with a spotty memory with only some hazy bad memories in a way clouding her mind is going crazy about all likely bad things they could do to harm her or worse maybe even kill her...! An expression filled with fear was on her face as she stared on at them and quickly turned it back to her front as she buried her little face in all these plants.

"Meep!" she wanted to say something, anything to appease them into not harming her but all she managed to muster is a yelp filled with so much terror from her revelation she is most likely doomed right here as she trembles even more now.

No, she is not doomed, not if she manages to escape! This bat waited a little bit while still trembling, little did this giant thing have any clue about is she is shaking still from her fear yes, but also from adrenaline and excitement in a way as she forces her body to prepare to make a getaway, trying her best not to show signs about her plans.

A minute passes maybe before she picks her diminutive form up, only a little to make sure they don't detect this before she quickly turns around and shoots herself out this dark room. Tearing through some plants and dashes with a blur out this hole and to her horror, landing right on this huge thing's snout. The tiny bat does use it as a bridge and as fast as she could, was dashing on their head with her wings as she in a way tried to climb down off them safely. Movements so panicked and hasty it's like she's flailing as she makes an endless squealing sound from how horrified the tiny bat is about how much danger the little bat is in now from doing this, she needed to get away! But she's about to fall too!

When this kiddo here kinda made eye contact with Zeke he tried his best to make his expression with his eyes to appear as soft and welcoming as possible, he was bout to chat with them more, but their terrified face made him not to, especially now with them hiding their little face from him too. Now, maybes it might be best to wait things out a lil, he can wait if hiding their face will help them calm down, still with guilt rising in him from how scared this poor kid seems made his ears droop in shame. Oh man, he's sorry kid; he can't help how he's quite huge to you...

He remained put as he watched them continued to shake, if they take too long the dragon will try and gently prod them with his voice again, but maybes if he stays quiet for a bit they'll be able to settle and collect themselves, so he remains silent as he keeps his eye on this poor kid.

Unfortunately, or maybes fortunately really for this kid with how good Zeke is at detecting even the smallest detail, primarily when he's concentrating well on something he for sure took note how their shaking took a different kinda shaking. It was like they are tryna force their body to get up, or well something like they are stuck in place and their shaking is them tryna escape from where they've gotten glued. So Zeke has tensed up a lil, he kinda has an idea what's coming he dunno if they're tryna flee from him or are gonna get outta there as quick as possible to get it over with but Zeke's gonna be sure he can help them get down without falling or anything.

Still when they did swiftly dash outta there with them getting so much closer in a sec startled Zeke a lil as he flinched back a bit but quickly moved his face forward again to ensure they safely land on his head as falling from this hole onto solid ground would be quite a painful drop. As soon as they were on his head, gently but quickish, the dragon went to lower his whole large form to lay himself down, this way if they do fall they won't be falling from quite a height. Zeke made sure this doesn't happen when he take note on how they were bout to slip off him he carefully as he could move a front paw of his underneath them and so when they fell off him from going too fast their fall got cushioned by his fluffy fur. Carefully he brought his forelimb with this kid back towards him, they are scared, but he wanna check if they are OK, he dunno something doesn't seem right... How'd they ended up in such a situation?

"Hey, hey easy there kiddo," he tries his best to sooth them, to show he is not so bad as they probs may believe the enormous dragon is, Zeke dunno if the dragon wants to learn what they are imagining what he is planning to do to them. Whatever the case he's gonna try his best to kick those wild imaginations bout him to the curb.

"No one is going to hurt you..." he spoke with a more clear vernacular to his usual kind so they can have an understanding he sincerely means it as he shifts his paw back to its original spot, this kid safely perched on the top part of his fluffy claws still. Zeke winds his tail round too, so it's also by his face as he goes to gently push this poor kid with his tail feathers offa his paw himself, in case they're maybes too petrified to get off themselves.

There we go...

"See... You're fine kay...?" man he wishes he could bribe away this fear with some fruit or something for this kid but there's none round, and he kinda doesn't want to give them a random one on the ground, might be fermented or something.

"Heya, names Zeke, it's great to meet you lil buddy~." he might be going too quick here but he mighta have to be quick in case they dash off before he has a chance to show he's safe to be round, he's worried for them it, concerned what state they were in there.

This tiny bat closed his eyes tight when he slipped off this enormous thing, heart dropping to his teensy claws with pure dread as he tenses up in some feeble preparation for his absolute world of hurt.

What he sure didn't expect was landing much sooner than he thought, more surprising was how plush it was which caused him to take a peek as to what did he fall on and found nothing but blue and one large claw. It was nowhere near him really, but it was sharp and scary as horror hit him from it all.

Oh my goodness, he got picked up by them-!!

Immediately this small bat moved his head down and buried his face in her wings, covering his eyes entirely as his tiny form trembles more than ever. To his credit he wasn't flailing or anything, though as this giant thing predicted it was most likely due to being far too petrified to move much, and if it were to shift his little wings away from his face they'd find this tiny bat certainly does have quite a petrified expression on his little face. A terrifying revelation how he's sitting right on top this massive thing's claw and even their paw completely dwarf him in comparison so much so if he was sitting on its palm instead of on top this claw could easily crush him if this giant thing clenched it or something. One glance from it was quite an intimidating sight to behold for this already frightened teensy bat.

He gave out a weak yelp when something touched by something and was pushing him a little, making him curl in on himself even more now as he presses his face more into his wings, not seeming to be listening to their words at first. Though he got a little puzzled with how besides getting pushed off by some strange thing and what is under his is no longer plush and is cold and uncomfortable did he risk to move his wings away from his eyes, small pricks of tears around his eyes.

"Mmm?" his voice had a little whimper to it but it was more on how sheepish he is as he has a confused expression now, it was around this was when his ears paid attention and caught this same large voice belonging to this giant thing how he was fine. He uncurled his form a little as he takes note on how they don't appear to be hurt, as the teensy bat pats down at his tiny body to check if there are any wounds or if he was dreaming. To his surprise yup, he's awake and not hurt as he stares at this huge thing, not making eye contact but still.

Oh... Zeke huh? This teensy bat stayed still with uncertainty and nervousness as this massive thing got closer to him, a claw pointed at him, though close as their face and sharp nail is, strangely enough, both weren't touching him. Though despite being scared as he is, he got curious to pat it or something, not to add his mind for some reason is telling him to grab it with a wing and shake it as it's what you're meant to do; how does he even know this? He hardly recalls anything at all... Though this Zeke here said who they were, he has no clue who he is himself.

Still, Zeke here seems nice, and if not if his mind tells him to shake their claw or something if it may possibly placate them he'll give it a shot.

Slowly he hops closer to this claw, one trembling wing raised and as he was about to give it a shake or something, taking it slow as still being unsure if he wants to risk it. This bat was about to give this claw a shake, but he stopped midway as a screech or something echoed throughout around here, he flinched back as his head shot to what direction it came from, soundly terribly familiar for some reason and it was a familiarity which filled him with so much dread.

...Oh no, what is it? There something strange clinging to this wall where this hole was, way above both them, it had no fluffy fur like both him and Zeke here did, it was much smaller than Zeke but was ginormous to him. Possessing strange bright stripes on its black scales and three scary eyes staring down at him there was something about how they were staring at him which made him shudder. Those eyes were much more terrifying than the bright eyes on Zeke's here, they were dark, not to add how there are well three eyes and all are directed at his tiny form.

All those eyes blinked as it with such agility leapt off from this wall and flew down into a dive, targetting this tiny bat with a loud screech. He was about to flee, but he blanked a little as his sights changed, what was before many dark walls were now, some green place with a strange cloud covering over everywhere. Amidst all this green and dust was the same scary creature but in different colours, diving straight for them. All this shock from such a deja vu coming to this tiny bat, made his little body freeze up entirely, sinking to the ground while whimpering quietly; the scary thing was now getting much closer.

When this little guy seemed to have been taken outta their petrification spell and showed their face to Zeke, allowing him to have a real glimpse as to what their appearance is, dang, they sure were small, a small thing with wings. They also had many bright colour patches of fur than he did, which kinda is saying something as he has yet to meet someone who has a blue coat for one. Still, one thing which did stand out was how wide-eyed and terrified they appeared, using their little wings like some safety blanket like it could protect them from anything. God this poor kid, what has happened to them? His eyes had such a soft look to them as he refused even to budge when he held out a claw for them, he had such a gentle smile which brimmed with his concern for them.

Zeke remained patient as they stayed still for a bit longer, they're not trying to completely curl in on themselves so he supposes they're kinda already coming outta their shell so he won't prod. Zeke already believes he is going too fast, any further prodding which is too soon will be overwhelming for this poor kid, but he dunno if staying still and having a claw out will help much. So when they slowly went over and was bout to give his claw a greeting shake with their teensy wing, Zeke let out a relieved exhale, his expression now appearing to be getting giddy as his smile stretched out more with mirth, overjoyed how he is making a new bud here after all. He was so tempted to give them encouraging words on how she can do it as her trembling wing gets closer to his claw. But sound obnoxiously loud screech rung in his ears which startled Zeke as his head snapped up to find what caused it, though he managed to avoid moving his offered claw from his fright, still in place for his bud here to shake, if they so desire.

What's their problem up there? Man kinda ruined a sweet moment here pal; Zeke kept a close eye on them, this chill dragon a lil annoyed actually how whoever it is butt-in like so. Though soon this became more than an annoyance as he gets a kinda negative vibe from them, it kinda makes him give them a flat expression, a kinda warning in a way. His warning got ignored by them as they took off, aiming for his lil bud here, who is making no move to run, they've just... blanked, it's kinda spooking him.

But with this Zeke was quick to move closer to this kiddo here, stretching his wings out to shelter over them as some shield which made whatever this thing is put the brakes on their dive, flailing their flight limbs to move in a different direction as this dragon glared down at them, his message obvious.

'Back off pal.'

Didn't listen again as they gave out a shriek and kinda moved to the ground where he where his wings aren't cocooning this kid at Zeke's sides and quickly was trying to peck at something which Zeke was having none of as he lowered his head towards them to block their way from this kid. If facial expressions could kill, this Kyte would have burned into ashes like a dead phoenix from how intense Zeke's death glare filled with such controlled rage stared straight at them.

When this utter pain still didn't back off and had the nerve to screech at Zeke, which he retorted back with a yell of his own as he inhaled and let out his own.

Zeke's screech though sounded nothing like, well an ear-splitting high pitched shriek or anything. His had a much deeper sound and far much more powerful than their measly kitten hiss, throughout Orion Zeke's roar echoed, it was causing a small earthquake much stronger than small shockwaves from when he walks. Some debris fell offa this ceiling from how intense his bellow was, it was kinda like some roar from a broken down machine or something, giving it quite a disturbing sound.

A few secs Zeke's long roar soon quieted down with some threatening growls as he stared down at it; thankfully it kinda has backed off from Zeke and this kid after his intimidating roar stopped.

'Kay, last chance pal...'

Bold as it was though it flapped it's wings again as was about to fly to his other side where it could try and get at this kid where neither his thick feathers or head isn't blocking off as they sniffed the air likely to help better in finding where his buddy who is hiding.

'A'right, last straw now...'

Zeke curled his tail round where they went and wrapped it tightly round them as he slowly picked them up with it, course they are fighting it, they're squirming so much, but Zeke didn't let go as he raised his tail high and in front of himself.

'Time for them to buzz off.'

In a swift movement Zeke released them from his tail with a fling like pitching a baseball, but as quickly as he could when they were no longer in his tail's grasp, he cracked said tail against like a whip. All this made them go flying off in a dizzying spinning motion across Orion, far away from him and this kid.

Now with all this outta the way Zeke finally unwrapped his wings from in front, outta its protective tent shape as he checked with concern on whether this kid is OK. But as soon as these wings were outta the way his eyes widened with shock as he stared down and attempted to do a double take if his eyes were playing tricks on them, scratching a cheek anxiously and snapping his head left and right in a panic.

Where are they? They're gone! No no no! Please! Be safe lil buddy!


"Speaking." 'Thinking.'

This tiny bat right now, completely frozen in place with his eyes wide open, it's like he fainted standing with his eyes left open. If this Zeke here poked him or anything, his body which is currently so limp from not being entirely there right now would easily make him topple down sideways, and even if it happened, he still wouldn't move to get back up. These flashes have left him, so stunned movement seems to have left him entirely.

It was only when these substantial fan things wound around him effectively trapping him, but also blocking this scary thing from his sight and from getting him did those flashes fade away, and he finally snapped out his trance, closing his eyes as he quickly shook his head to clear all this away. Wh-What happened what all those images are? What's happening now, why's it so dark again? Now, this tiny bat is aware this time about not being trapped precisely, with how there are humongous exits at both sides, Zeke here appears to be trying to catch him; but why? He doesn't believe he wants to find out; he has to get away now! The bat booked it towards an opening where these things Zeke has are not blocking him off only for his eyes to meet with a familiar scary furless flying thing which attempts to jab at his tiny form with its beak thing. The teensy bat is so high with adrenaline, he manages to smoothly dodge all these attacks which would bring him great harm, but now something fluffy came around to block this scary thing off, it was hard to tell what it was but it is most likely Zeke. Thankfully Zeke's eyes are on this scary thing and not on him, so he kept an eye, watching as he waited for his best timing to flee without neither having any clue he did run off.

This bat's heart thundered like it jumped up to his throat and got stuck when how intensely his pulse is thudding even in his ears a little as Zeke made such a loud noise he let out an equally loud yelp from how painful it was on his tiny and sensitive ears. He can't take anymore! This bat is so overwhelmed, they, without much planning, due to pure instinct turned around behind himself without checking if Zeke or this scary thing have taken note about what the teensy bat is doing. Recklessly he dashed to his other exit with his eyes closed to block out all these scary things, panting heavily from running so much and his overwhelming panic. He had enough sense to check what's ahead and quickly tried to slow to a stop as he gasped with terror on how this scary thing is now right in front and is aiming for to bite him or something again and quickly moved backwards, refusing to keep his eyes off them.

Fortunately, something grabbed this thing very tightly it let out a choked yelp, startled from getting caught like so as it got lifted away from his sight and he went back to running towards this exit again. He doesn't have a clue what Zeke is trying to do with this scary thing but what has been happening a second ago and how tightly if it was them anyways they grabbed the frightening thing he doesn't believe he wants to stick around to find out. He could be next, after all, so he doesn't want to witness it, aware it will happen to him too if he doesn't get far away right now!

Finally, the bat managed to make his breakaway, getting through this exit from these vast wings with no more obstacles well except for how he crashed into this wall a little from going too fast but it didn't deter him too much. This, however, works perfectly for him, as he hugs this wall with his wings like he is trying to fuse with it and sidled against it, keeping as quiet as the tiny bat can get while he tries to sneak away. Took some time but thankfully there was a little corner of sorts which made this small bat release his grip on this wall as he books it to hide around this corner. Things are a little quiet now, so he risked to peek his little head out from this corner and witnessed Zeke here throwing this scary thing away roughly, he's glad it's gone but he's going to be next now, Zeke's definitely trying to find him. The tiny bat wasted no time in moving away slowly, his steps like a tiptoeing mouse as he tries to sneak far away, though his steps are small so it'll be a while for him to be far enough to get away.

"Speaking." 'Thinking.'

This kid sure is good at sneaking away, Zeke didn't have a clue on how they got away on their own accord eventually, but with him not having any idea they managed to escape safely and is scared on maybes the pest managing to grab them in their clutches anyways before he managed to swat them away. Zeke is kinda a lil freaked out right now as he paced round in his hopes to find them. Zeke's tempted to make haste and run, but he's aware after what has happened there, his buddy is probs freaked out too, he doesn't want to scare them more by causing a stir from stomping round.

'Come on buddy, where are you...?'

He hopes they're OK and are still round here and got far away or something, yet, if they have he'll wanna check up on them to ensure they're not hurt or anything, he wants to check up on them with how he first found them; trapped in some small cave and completely freaking out.

Zeke was on his lookout for both the kiddo and keeping watching on whether whoever it was trying to cause trouble there is making a comeback and if they do he better negotiate them or something if they did capture his bud or something, he'll get his answers if it does come back. Carefully shuffling along a lil anxiously, Zeke continuously checks to both his left and right as he forces himself to move forward cautiously and not fast, though his steps are progressively quickening as time went on with no sign to either appearing. But what luck would have it, easy to miss it was, but Zeke's believes his eyes caught sight on a lil wing sticking out from a corner in this wall before disappearing as soon as his observant eyes found it. Now, this here nook, not considered one to Zeke, but for this small wing which he believes he has discovered, it may as well be to it. It snapped Zeke's full attention to it as his eyes widen with a lil surprise if it's what he believes it is; he hopes it is, he needs to check if they're OK! Zeke lowered his large form a bit and craned his head closer, and to Zeke's relief it was his lil bud alright behind this corner, managed to get away safely from whoever's attack. Even though the threat is far away now, they're kinda moving in a way got him to worry; it was as if they are limping, but it only seems this kid is trying to sneak away even now as their steps are steady and they aren't whimpering from any pain.

"Oh, there you are kiddo~!" Zeke knelt a bit kinda. Well it was a kneel for a quadruped like Zeke, to lower himself closer to them and avoid being too towering than he is already, his voice was so chipper and relieved how he has found them, OK in a sense how they got away from harm there, though he still needs to check if they genuinely are OK.

"Was getting a lil worried, when you disappeared like so," he sincerely was as his voice got soft and a lil quiet, he thought he failed to save them there at first. Now he's not blaming them; he gets it, it'd be much safer to run away from it all when Zeke managed to grab their attacker with his tail.

"Soo, you okay buddy? Not hurt from them back there, or from when in that hole?" he can't find any injuries on their small body, less all those bright colours are wounds, either way, they were agitated in both instances so he hopes he can help sorta in any way.

"Ahh geez sorry buddy, here... Why don't we start over and..." Zeke went back to laying down as he once again, presented a single claw for them to possibly shake maybes, trying his best to maybes lighten things up, though he dunno if it'll work after all with what happened there.
