The tiny bat tried her best to sneak away in her tiptoeing away walk, she was about to dash it when it seemed safe now and things now good for running without worrying about getting found from being too quick. She was so close but midway with one wing still raised as she was about to slowly place it back on solid ground to make another slow step but she froze in place, standing on only one wing as dread crept to her when she heard a familiar deep voice from earlier. Her head snapped to her side, and she came face-to-face with Zeke again, wasn't standing but was still so huge to her, in fact with much closer their face is from laying down is really frightening for her. He is acting nice, what with what they are saying to her, but, after what she witness earlier, now he didn't react violently much but how quick it all happened and with how they grabbed the scary thing and threw it like some ragdoll she was unsure if she can trust him. What if they're asking if she's OK to ensure she is helpless and flick her away too? Be less hard to do with her, won't even need their tail, maybe even only a claw would be enough!

So when Zeke did extend a claw out the tiny bat stopped being still as a statue as she flinched back as this claw got closer to her, keeping an anxious eye on only this claw with such fear in her eyes as she trembled so much especially around her wings.

She had no clue what she was planning, but when this claw got too close, fears about possibly getting harmed by made her from some reflex like her trembling and flinching gave this claw a quick, panicked shove with her wings and immediately turned around to make a run for it, regretting what she did already. Oh no, why'd she done such a thing? Now they're going to be angry at her for trying a feeble at pushing them like so and will want revenge! No time to stop she has to get away!

Now they did seem kind earlier before the scary thing came by, but how they were acting when it did makes her scared about possibly getting hurt too, her fears telling her she's next. Truthfully she, she's unsure what her opinion about them is. But she doesn't want to risk anything only because she is a little uncertain.

"Speaking." 'Thinking.'

Zeke didn't miss out how they jumped back when he offered his claw to shake, and how they leapt made it seem like they were scared this said claw was gonna hurt them when it approached them. Zeke kinda expected it; he's not doing a great job here in helping them get more comfortable around him here, getting too hasty cuz his worries for them are making him go too fast with all this. His shame is evident as he is aware bout this and gives them a concerned face.


'Maybes take a different approach...'


"Hey... What's wrong buddy?" he tried to prod when he took note on how they're trembling again, ah darn, he kinda has a clue what but in case anymore unwarranted movements will startle them more, he check what they specifically wish for him to do whether it's retracting this claw away, or chatting with them from a much further distance or something.

What happened next though sure wasn't something Zeke was expecting to occur as they, in a panic most likely kinda roughly pushed his claw away with their wings. Zeke was quick to retract his whole paw away from them gently and from reflex from a small startle with it happening in a blink, their message clear as day to Zeke on how they do not want any claws near them righta now. Zeke was bout to apologise immensely for his mistake there and assure it won't happen again but he didn't get a chance to as they went to make a run for it.

"Hey wait...!" Zeke tried to call out to them as his lips had a worried frown on it, guilt eating at him more than ever.

"Hold up lil buddy, I'm sorry..." he doesn't seem to give chase, he stands up a lil but the dragon isn't following them, he'll only sorta give chase if they get attacked again or hurt. Sides getting chased sure sounds scary to him after all; still, he hopes his words will reach out to them, he's genuinely is sorry...

"Speaking" 'Thinking'

The teensy bat's ears can only catch a sound on how his little heart is thumping and this pulse is intense in his ears and drowning out every other noise, so he didn't quite catch what Zeke was saying to him. Does he want to learn after he went as far to whack them a little there to get away? He honestly wouldn't blame them if they are infuriated at him for doing it.

So this small one kept on blindly dashing away, he doesn't have any idea where he only wants to get away, perhaps take to hiding in another hole, one without all those string things everywhere which this tiny bat got tangled up in a few times when he was trying to escape from it. Soon this teensy bat skidded to a complete stop sideways to avoid crashing well this wall turned to a different direction meaning he has reached a corner. Quickly he checks to there's any little escape holes or something he can make a getaway from, to his growing dread there was nothing at all, only a pristine dark wall, completely intact with no small gaps, cracks or anything like a little opening which he can slip into for hiding.

'Oh no no no no no...! It's a dead end pretty much...!'

The only way he can safely flee is if he goes back or they'll eventually catch up and practically have him cornered from where he is now!

'But, going back there is going to be far too risky... Unless...'

The tiny bat took his risk and swiftly turned back around and zoomed forward, now he could zoom off to his left or something where Zeke isn't, but if he does, he'll risk getting attacked from the scary thing again. Not to add this here tiny bat, what with how panicked he is, is not thinking straight and is caught up in the moment. Right now this small bat here is acting too frantic in his determination to escape, and with his clouded mind, this bat isn't thinking straight or coming up with a good strategy, only working on what first came to his mind. Right now what is on his mind, is doing everything he can to get away from this giant guy as much as he can and reach his nearest escape.

Zeke soon returned to his vision, and his mind did comment how he must be a slow runner as it appears he had barely moved at all to catch up with him; what with how long it took before he sighted him again. Still, he was standing so they must be chasing him. Either way, this works in his favour as what the bat has in mind wouldn't work if Zeke wasn't standing up. The teensy bat picked up on his speed as got closer to Zeke, choosing to go faster if he gets more nervous, if he doesn't do so they'll end up allowing it to take over, and make him freeze to a stop, something which he must not let happen. More speed picked up on his wings when the bat took note how Zeke's head snapped up a little with some surprise as their eyes, having found the bat again, and dashing straight back to them. Zeke's expression strangely doesn't appear angry maybe more worried, but he still doesn't stop, as he inhales a deep breath and runs straight through between both of Zeke's huge paws and kept on going in such a dash like this bat was trying to beat a world record in a marathon. As he ran underneath Zeke, his massive size is much bigger and longer than he thought, the distance between their scaly underside and this solid rocky ground of Orion he was running across, it wouldn't be crazy to believe those scales were some cathedral ceiling.

'Oh my goodness, goodness, goodness this is crazy! Hurry, just to where the hind legs are, come on...!'

The tiny bat ears did catch more familiar sounds belonging to a specific deep voice, but he didn't quite catch them, though it seems his plan is working as Zeke hasn't shifted themselves would be hard if he's dashing under and behind them so quickly. Still, when he got closer to where their tail is, tears ran down his eyes; so close now. All he has to hope is their tail will miss at grabbing him, though with such a possibility is what is making him crying now, but aware it's a bad idea to stop he keeps on running towards where this tail is while silently crying.

'Here it comes... Now go go go!'

If this tiny bat could roar himself, he would've let one out as he went full speed ahead where his escape is pretty much guaranteed but also where the terrifying tail is, the tiny bat kept a wary eye on this tail as they reached to where it is. Thankfully he managed to slip past it, strangely enough, this said terrifying tail didn't budge at all in attempting to catch him when he went past it, still as a statue, but it again didn't stop him as he kept on running, tears still streaming from this whole ordeal there, it was such a close call. His tiny body begging him to take a break from all this running but he didn't dare to especially when his ears caught mumbled up words again from a deep voice, he kept his head down, it was some way to find some breath from how worn out he is from all this running.

Strangely enough, though his ears perked as they caught Zeke's voice again, this time it sounded much louder, it sounded panicked, they were crying something out to him, and he picked up on what Zeke said there a little; it seemed like they were yelling at him to watch out for something.

'W-Watch out f-for what-?'

He couldn't finish his thought as one wing belonging to him landed and slipped on a pretty massive pebble for his size, with how fast he is going he completely lost his balance as his whole body went flying forward. Hitting face first into another rock which seems more like a mountain to this bat and soon he falls backwards onto this flat ground, landing on his back well more flops with his wings spread out, he didn't try to balance himself or get back up.

'Got to get up, why can't he get up...? Everything is hazy... Why is it getting dark, gett upp...'

Something like black sparkles covered over his vision until everything went black for him as he went out cold, though at his last second before fainting he believes there was a shadow looming over him.

'Help...'

Zeke sure wasn't giving chase, and he isn't angry at them for pushing his claw away, Zeke didn't budge when he went to standing up, only watching them getting further away from him, he does appear sad more than anything though. He may have tried to call out for them, but his words weren't audible enough for them to be able to listen to what he's saying from how far away from Zeke they have gotten now.

He stayed still for a lil bit as he kinda let this pang of sadness and guilt take over for a bit over his failure to be a welcoming enough presence to the kid and possibly be a buddy they could count on and all. Zeke silently, with his saddened expression and drooped ears stared down at this solid ground. Sighing, Zeke concluded he's finished here, and best to go somewhere else now, so the kiddo didn't need to hide or stay away from wherever they need to be cuz he's around this area. But as he was bout to step away to somewhere else, however, something made him freeze when he believes there is a swift, small blur coming straight for him, which drew his attention. Zeke's eyes drifted to the ground where this zooming blur was, and he spotted a familiar teensy, panicked kiddo who was running back towards him now, which surprised him and got him worried too.

'Are they getting attacked again or something else?'

Still, Zeke made himself change his expression from a sad one as he gave them a concerned smile with his eyes having a much softer appearance to them if it was even possible for them to be as he stood up straight a lil.

"Hey... Why don't we calm down and maybes we can... Huh? Hey... Where are you going buddy?" he tried his best to diffuse things a lil, hoping to help them calm and maybes have a chat to check what's wrong such as if they're getting attacked again while they were running away. Zeke didn't get much a chance to as this kiddo ran underneath him, he kinda thought if they are tryna hide behind his leg or something; if there is another attack. But Zeke checked behind himself, and eventually found them running past his tail, now with Zeke's nature, there's a conscience in him to not even consider about even attempting to grab them or anything with his tail. Sure he did grab the other guy there earlier, but it was cuz they were tryna cause trouble and hurt this kid here. Zeke turned a one-eighty as he watched them run away from him again, he still doesn't exactly try to chase them or anything but...

"Slow down lil buddy, I only want to talk and see if you are not hurt at all..." well it is more in a sense how he wants to check if they are OK, though it's obvious right here how they are not okay at all, dunno bout physically but emotionally they are not okay at all. Might be his fault why this is so for them, Zeke thought with self-loathing, as his head dipped in shame again. But his head quickly snapped back up as his eyes took note on how there's something like a pebble or something; small to him but can be a safety hazard to his lil bud here, and they are running straight for it!

"Whoa! Look out buddy...!" he tried to alert them to this potential disaster as there's no time to carefully move it outta their way or something, best he can do would be to leap to it which can possibly seriously hurt them and Zeke doesn't to accidentally hurt them, he doesn't want to hurt them at all.

Zeke sadly musta called out to them bout it too late as he watched their tiny body in some slow motion kinda go flying and their whole body slammed onto some thick stalagmites with a wham which made Zeke physically flinch and closing one eye.

'Oooooooo dang, he felt that... welp guess they are hurt physically now...'

When they fell backwards, their head hitting rocky ground did Zeke quickly moved to where they are, once again kinda kneeling as his shadow looms over them, face brimmed with worry and panic.

"Hey you OK buddy?? Lil buddy! Hey, kiddo come on get up...! Kid...!" oh no no no, they're out cold. Further inspection Zeke paused as he took note how there's quite a bump on their head, seems it has quite a red mark to it, same for their nose too really...

Zeke wasted utterly no time in carefully moving his tail feathers underneath them and gently lifted them, tips to his tail feathers twitched a lil and curled inwardly a lil as Zeke noted how light they are, maybes as light as a feather. Made his heart go out for them, must be so rough living a life where bout everything is huge to them it seems...

He with such delicate movement managed to place their unconscious form on his back and curled his wings inwardly like a protective tent once again to ensure they don't fall off and slowly Zeke took to walking; he needs supplies to help them here.

'Right first things first, maybes find some food they can have when they get up...'

Zeke kept on pondering on how to help as he went on to maybes find a tree filled with fruit or something.

"Speaking" 'Thinking'

It was for sure at this point how this teensy bat is out cold not once did she stir when Zeke's worried face loomed over her, trying his best to wake her with their voice here. Didn't wake when she was lifted high by Zeke's tail and placed on such fluffy fur which tickled her wounded nose, not even a sneeze there from it all. Not when Zeke's wings folded around her, making things go dark, being stuck somewhere which is pitch black dark is quite a fear for her too and still nothing, not a wink or anything.

Still, although she in some way doesn't believe it, this tiny bat is in good wings here, quite literally really since Zeke here is in a way holding her securely with theirs.

It appears though it may be a while until she regains consciousness if she does anyway.

K... Now food is something to consider for them, but Zeke supposes as while he dunno if they are hungry, it will give them some strength and energy back or something when they wake up, though it is kinda also so they can maybes trust Zeke better. Things may get too risky if this kid panics again cuz he's round where they are while they are recovering from these injuries, and he sure can't leave them here even if they may prefer if he left them alone, nope far too dangerous for them.

It'll be something to do bout laters, right now he needs something to treat those face and head wounds, something cold could work. Hmmm, maybes he could find a pebble or something, douse it in cold water and apply it on those wounds to ease their pain? Yeah, it could work, he'll hafta find a pretty dang small pebble, maybes as teensy as some dust to Zeke as if he tries even a lil too big it might be very uncomfortable for them at best or may hurt them even more at worst from being too heavy. It'll also be best if Zeke tries to find a smooth rock for his lil bud here also, if he can anyways, shouldn't be too hard with his eyes here.

Zeke hummed a lil as he scanned this solid ground with slow steps, carefully on a lookout for any tiny, lil stones and praise be for Zeke's observant eyes he found one which would be a perfect fit for this kid in no time! Neat! Zeke tried his best to crane his neck down to this lil pebble, trying to avoid bending any knees here or things may get too bumpy for this kid on his back even with his wings sheltering over them; though maybes he's also tryna not to bend them cuz it would require so much effort, and heh yeah nope.

Good thing Zeke does have a long neck, course his mane round it makes his neck seem well small and fat, not long but, nah, it's a pretty long neck than what it initially appears as Zeke managed to pluck this pebble up with his mouth quite easily. Zeke tried his best to hold this rock as gently as possible like he was carrying an egg in his mouth, he'd prefer not to chip it or anything.

Now Zeke needs to find maybes water or something for them, or better a spot which is a lil obscure where Zeke himself can fit into, be safer for them as it means less chance to getting attacked again, though Zeke will ensure to ward off any potential attacks; hopefully one from earlier has learnt their lesson though.

One sweet spot like an alcove which he can fit into, and there's nothing else in it which will try anything-

'Huh? Uhhhhhh, is it him or is this rock getting colder every second or something?'

Zeke took note on how much colder it was now, if anything with how cold it is, wouldn't be crazy to believe he picked up an ice cube instead or something. Zeke carefully attempted to give this supposed rock a check, and he needs to-

'Uh? What? Kayyyy, this here rock is a lil stuck to his tongue actually.'

Had no clue it was this cold, could be useful though for his bud here if it's this cold without dipping it in some cold water, but now he has other things he needs to do now.

Kay, he needs to find a suitable hiding spot sorta, get this rock off his tongue which is stuck to it like he stuck said tongue on a frozen lamppost or something. Find food for them and with how cold this rock is now he probs needs to find a leaf too to wrap round this rock as putting something this cold on a wound without a layer between them is a bad idea.

'Welp... Things sure are gonna be busy here for Zeke. Gonna be a long day, time to help his pal here though.'
