Kavish had stayed asleep for too long, he had remained quiet for cycles. It was time for him to rise again, and this time he would need help. He needed some to be loyal to him, in case the eyes and the voice came back, the cat monster that kept him for who knows how long? He rose from his bed of soft feathers and mangy pelts of lesser Gembounds to leave his room, and quietly came into the main part of Canis, shuffling through the bones.

He snuffed one, licking it before backing away. It was burnt and old and gross, but something else intrigued him. He cleared away the rest of the bones to make a small clearing.

Kavish rooted around for other things, maybe a new feather, or the carcass of a creature that didn't make it in the harsh conditions that Canis had. His tail remained low as he searched, pawsteps light and carefully place. He didn't wantthe eyes to find him. He didn't want to be taunted by the monster. Not again. That was why he was going to build an army like no other. Yes, an army to protect him.

Nothing to be found still. Kavish grumbled louder than he wanted to, and jumped at his own voice, knocking several bones into each other as he did so. Now the eyes would find him! He scrambled away, barking at himself. This summone silver eyes that haunted his sleep.

"Begone eyes! You only bring the cat devil!" He commanded them. They didn't listen, but it was no matter. The Pomeranian was on a mission. He rooted around some more in the fresh pile of bones.

Kavish has found a Master (+3) Lightning Ridge Opal, once belonging to an american opossum. The stone is a beautiful, glossy blue streaked with a bright and lively green.

Kavish has also found a Fledgling (+1) green Aventurine belonging to a hybrid between a quagga and a mountain lion. The stone is a soft jade green, flecked with lighter marbling, and smoothly shiny to the touch.

A new stone, and he felt that it was special. Kavish took it with him, placing it next to the one he found earlier. They were pretty, but he wantedmore, so he kept looking. Kept nosing through the piles, kept sniffing and ignoring the eyes. The eyes, the eyes, the eyes. More came, they blinked at him and glared.

"Leave me alone, you nuisances. I have no time for you to bother me. Besides, you won't be able to find me soon!" came his growly barks. They needed to leave him alone so he could find the shiny stones and the good bones. He needed the bones too, the unmarred ones.

Kavish couldn't find anything for the next few minutes, but that would never deter him from continuing his search. However, he found nothing but what he thought would be a pretty rock, but was just a small jagged piece of stone, charred and relatively rounded from wear. He grumbled. He needed another rock, another life rock. Many life rocks. He needed them to keep away the silver eyes that still followed him.

He kept rooting around, and then there it was! A nice, brown, pearl shaped stone! It was dull, but it was still a stone! That is, until he tried to pick it up. Kavi spat out the small rabbit turd, growling at it angrily. "Stupid rabbits! Stupid. I will find the rabbit and make it pay." He growled to himself, spitting a few times to get the taste out of his mouth.

Kavish angrily rooted around for more, and he had found something. He wasn't sure what it was, but as he went to further uncover it, he flung the thing away by accident. A low grumble came from him as he pushed his way through the silver eyes, and looked for the thing he flung away, but it was nowhere to be found.

Kavish searched and searched and searched for the next hour, and finally, he foud the thing he was looking for. ANother stone. He couldn't tell what it looked like yet, the dark corner he found it in wouldn't allow him to see it, so he picked it up gently and carried it to a brighter spot to see what it was.
