MAGICKA LEVEL 100%

Eythan remained tense, hackles just on the verge of raising. He did not like the tone his brother was taking with him, treating the situation like it was a joke. The gryphon remained where he was, though, though he stood, now. Within a few minutes, the moth-thing had a name and the Collector was simmering out into the shadows. That's weird, he grumbled internally, ear flicking. "Wait up, old pal 'o mine," he called out sardonically, spinning toward the vanishing form of the tall creature. Tail slashing through the air, Eythan followed.
Just before he began to take off and away from the crowd, he called over his shoulder, "careful, Aure!" Then, hot on the Collector's invisible tail — and really just going to the chambers so he could scream the creature's name — Eythan disappeared from the scene.

Nobody could ever say that Aure was great at naming things; heck, he had come up with his own name using some hodgepodge of sounds he heard immediately after hatching. In hindsight, the slight parallel to his father's name was nice, but still— he wasn't the best at naming things. He was grateful for the white canine's confidence, immediately spitting out a name that was oddly fitting. The Guardian quickly took to the name, tacking another to the end. "Aether Gold-moth is a good name," Aure agreed, nodding.
The bones shook — an omen? — in the silence that followed, rattling against one another as if some deed had been committed. He hoped it was a good one, at least, that would serve to benefit the caves as a whole. Eythan wasn't happy about this, and Aure felt a little guilty. Risk-taking was a necessity in survival, but had the gryphon known something they hadn't? He had come with a rune-covered stone in his talons, spitting angrily at the Collector. While his brother was certainly ill-tempered, Aure didn't think that it was unwarranted acidity. If only he could be aware that Eythan had basically spent the past two weeks, dead.
Unaware of that fact, Aure craned his neck up to the moth-guardian, squelching and gurgling as it spoke. It was, indeed, a guardian, bound to— them? Odd. So odd. "Do we call to you with some magic of sorts or…? And, where will you go when we don't need you?" Then, a fatherly sort of thought occurred to him, "are you hungry? There's plenty of rats to go around—" He paused, bright eyes glancing over the strangers present — including Black and his friend, the Lightbringer, "and that goes for the rest of you, too. You're welcome to the Bonebound and you may stay as long as you'd like."

Aether was a fine name, although perhaps not the one Glory would have chosen for the creature. It certainly inspired something, just not what Glory would have wished. However, if they felt that that was the right name for them, he wasn't going to argue. "Aether Gold-moth. Guardian. It is a fine name!" He nodded, his eyes squinted with pride. This was a good day. He had been right to gather these creatures. It was thanks to him that Aether lived at all.
"What will you do, then?" he asked, stepping forward towards Aether. "Where will you go? Will you live here or explore the caves? There are many wonders to see!"

Wilder turned up to look at Aether and a grin split her face. "Hi Aether Gold-moth Guardian. It's good to meet you! That's a pretty cool name! If I ever need you I'll call and if you ever need us you call! It'll be a a two way thing!"
She looked down at Squick and worried that the little parasite was getting cold. Her belly rumbled softly so she leaned down and licked up the little parasite, but not quite yet swallowing in case it wanted to hang outside for a little longer. I'm going to get something to eat. Giving magic like that makes me hungry. Are you ready to go?
If Squick affirmed with her, then she would turn around and trot away from the group, her tail swinging happily behind her.
