Wilder might have gotten a little sidetracked. It had been a while since the weird thing that was friends with the Collector had asked many gembounds to find it dye supplies. To be fair, Wilder had had other things on her mind at the time and hadn't really gotten around to actually finding anything.

But now she found herself in Polaris, with not much to do, and remembered her promise to find things. She hoped it wasn't too late! She bounced up from where she had been resting and immediately began sniffing the air and searching for something. She hoped she could find something pink! Or black like her!

Eventually she came across a little black feather and she happily scooped it up and trotted on.

There was a small area on the edge of the river were Wilder spotted some kind of plant life growing. Surely there'd be something there she could use! She trotted over and carefully set her black feather down next to a rock so that she wouldn't lose it before sniffing around the bushes. Sure enough she came across a collection of berries that were, to her delight, pink!

She raised a paw and slid out one claw, very carefully breaking a stem so that she could grab a large amount of berries to take back. She pulled it out of the bush, careful not to damage any of the berries, and carried it back to her feather.

Wilder continued on further into Polaris (not towards the Spire) with her feather and berry branch clasped firmly in her jaws. She sniffed around trying to find something else of note but beyond the smell of the berries it seemed she couldn't find much.

As Wilder continued to search around the vicinity of Polaris, she began to grow a little agitated that she wasn't finding anything dye-worthy. She sped up her pace but it seemed to be a mistake. Her foot caught on a rock and she tripped, the berries and feathers falling out of her mouth as she cried out. She tumbled forward but immediately jumped back to her feet, checking over the items to make sure they hadn't been damaged. She'd lost a couple of berries, but, otherwise, it was fine. With a sigh, she picked them up again and trotted away.

Her search wasn't going so well but Wilder had an idea. She paused and set down her things again before rolling a small pebble towards her. Maybe if they found a way to crush it up, they could use that as a dye ingredient! All she needed to do was...

A small spark of magic flared from her body and into the rock. The pebble began to emit a soft pink glow and she smiled with happiness. If they made it into dust they could maybe make dye glow! That would be so cool!

Now that she had a black feather, some pink berries, and a glowing rock, Wilder wondered if she should continue her search. After a little while longer of searching she eventually gave up. She had enough stuff already, right?

Holding her ingredients carefully, she turned and headed back to Fornax.
